Solved

I have an existing PC Windows 10 with Lightroom 6. Am buying a new PC Windows 11 and subscription Lightroom 1TB, (I thought it was called Lightroom Classic). My question, is it preferable to download Lightroom 1TB on older PC W10 first and setting up with existing LR6 back up catalog OR installing on new PC W11 with LR6 back up catalog OR it does not matter either method?

I used to be able to quickly skip to the next picture to edit while staying in a brush setting without having to reopen the mask tool again and click on brush and clicking on setting. I am unable to do that now with the new mask update. Have any of you been able to figure out how to quickly go to the next picture while staying in the same brush setting? So when I go to the next picture, it automatically opens the brush tool in the previous setting, instead of having to go through so many steps to open it again for each individual picture. Many thanks!

For example: Copy all files under‘..preSetting’ + ‘/bb/’toFolder.desktop + ‘/aa/’My path structure is as follows, with “Script” at the same level as preSetting:D:/OO/Script/myscript.jsxD:/OO/preSetting/bb/This one below seems wrong. //var activeDocPath = String(app.activeDocument.fullName); var copyToPath = String(Folder.desktop + '/aa/'); var sPath = String("/" + PreSetting + '/bb/'); //alert(sourcePath); //alert(pShortcut); var copiedFile = copyFile(sPath, copyToPath); function copyFile(sourcePath, destinationPath) { var fp = Folder(sourcePath) //get the files in MyFiles var f = fp.getFiles(); alert(f); alert(f.length); for (var i = 0; i < f.length; i++) { //try { if (!f[i].exists) { throw new Error('File not found: "' + sourcePath + '".'); } else { var dup = File(destinationPath); f[i].copy(dup) return dup; } } }

Is it possible to buy Photoshop without a subscription? I don't use Photoshop often but I feel like it would be awesome to have it for when I do need to use it like once every month or two. Thanks!

Hi Everyone!!   We experienced an outage affecting Adobe Express on both mobile (iOS & Android) and web. Some users may have encountered app loading issues, with the screen stuck displaying the Adobe Express icon.         Our team worked on fixing the issue, and you can check its status here: https://status.adobe.com/products/503465/202507170018    We apologize for the frustration, and thank you for your patience.

I just installed CC.  The default location for the Creative Cloud Files folder is C:\users\name\Creative Cloud Files.  Can I move it to another location and still retain sync capabilities?

I've been trying to use Photoshop Elements 2023 (Windows) to find photos captured on a particular month and day regardless of the year. I've tried the Search feature using text like "August 30" and "8/30" and "Aug 30" and I've tried Find>By details (Metadata)>Capture date. The latter seems to require a year. Any suggestions? Thanks for your attention.

I want a heart shape. The only options in the menu are Wild animals, Leaf trees, Boats and Flowers. Who came up with that menu?????

Many of our images need to be exported to transparant PNG's for the websites of our customers. Please Adobe, is it possible to add PNG to the Image Processor in addition to the current JPG, PSD and TIFF options. It would make my day (maybe my year 🙂 ).  To be clear, I'm talking about the Image Processor accessible from Bridge > Tools > Photoshop > Image processor.

I was working on a poster design in Photoshop and ran into a little issue. When I export the file, the colors (especially darker tones) look slightly different compared to what I see inside Photoshop. For example, a shade with values like R:22, G:12, B:14 comes out looking closer to R:21, G:24, B:20 once exported. Is there a way to keep the colors consistent between Photoshop and the exported version? Am I missing something in the color settings or profiles?

The last time I registered the copyright of images, was a few years ago, and I slogged through, using a workaround in Excel to create the required comma separated list of my images. The only time I use Excel is for this purpose every few years, and it's cumbersome time sucker to have to relearn. Rather than go through that process, is there a simpler way to make a comma separated list of hundreds of image files?  That would be a pretty cool feature to have in Bridge & Lightroom, for example. Thanks, Dennis

When i press the file number on my pictures in my porfoilo says  Page not foundSorry, that page doesn't existTry your search again  why keep saying this     I cant get my URL

Hi,I'm trying to make a video using footage I captured using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS.) When I play the clip normally on my media player, it works just fine. But when I import the files into Premiere, the video's there but the audio is gone. Why is this happening, and how can I fix this?

Hello, Without any known changes in the last updated version of LrC, the linear and radial masks lost their controls lines/dots/cursors. there is no way to change size or placement after you leave it. I need help to get it back.  Thanks, Philippe Trougouboff - <Email removed>

Hi, I want to loop the start and end of trim path but randomly for each line.. like line 1 start it's loop at 2 second, line 3 at 4 second. and none of them will overlap with one another's animation timing, I mean suddenly line 2 start its loop and line 3 and line 1 are not looping, again when line 1 looping line 2 and 3 not animating. . they will happen solo at their own time. And I want this to continue for as long as the main comp goining on, say 20 second, each line will be in a loop but different timing... . How can I write the expression? Thank you.

I'm working on a plugin that deals with Alembic 3D files. I can parse the geometry in the .abc and load it. What I really want is for that data to populate a dropdown menu in the plugin. But I can't seem to make the dropdown menu dynamic. So, when I select my .abc layer in After Effects comp, I can't get it to populate the dropdown with info from that file. This reminds me of how "Visible Layers" in the Mocha plugin works. It dynamicly loads info from Mocha, but it's in a popup menu. What is that technique called?

Hi there everyone! I have managed to write a script to create a rectangle the size of whatever the artboard is, but I also need to create additional rectangles that are 6mm less wide and tall than the artboard, and then 12mm less wide and tall than the artboard. My current script to do this is:function createRectOnArtboard() { var doc = app.activeDocument; var artboard = doc.artboards[ doc.artboards.getActiveArtboardIndex() ]; var bounds = artboard.artboardRect; var rect = doc.pathItems.rectangle( bounds[0], bounds[1], bounds[2], bounds[3] * -1 ); rect.name = artboard.name; }; createRectOnArtboard();I am not bothered if the solution is an addition/amendment to the above script, or completely entirely new code... just as long as I end up with 3 separate rectangles at artboard size, artboard size -6x-6, artboard size -12x-12.Thank you so much in advance, and have a lovely week!

Hi. I am using Premiere Rush Mobile on my 256GB iPhone Xr. So far it's been okay besides crashing every now and then but I'm having a very annoying problem where when I go to export my project it says my iPhone storage is almost full and won't let me export. My iPhone storage is most certainly not almost full. I have over 200GB of space left. Please help!! The settings are extremely limited on the mobile app. I tried chatting online with a representative who was no help at all.

Could someone please guide me on why this picture was rejected and how I can improve my future posts?

Hello!I'm required to download InDesign (and other Adobe Creative Cloud programs) for a class I'm taking at my university. However, every time I try to download InDesign, it says that my computer is "Not Compatible." Whenever I click on the "Not Compatible" button, I get this message: "If you would like to install InDesign, you must update your system" (I attached an image of the pop-up if that helps)! However, when I go to update my computer, it shows that I'm all up-to-date (I also attached an image of the message). I'm not very tech-savvy, but I'm pretty sure my computer should be compatible with InDesign and other Adobe Creative Cloud Programs. I use a MacBook Air that I got in January of 2016. Let me know if there are any solutions that you know of!Thanks!
