Hello! I tried working with Adobe Rush because it's a bit less confusing than Adobe Premiere - I see a lot of potential in this Program, but there is one function that makes me go insane. Every time I drop a new clip in the main timeline it snaps to the next clip to the left. Good idea but if you really want to have full control over your project, it's super problematic. Can you turn off snapping? It's extremely bothersome to edit stuff on the beat of music, because every time I change some parts in the beginning of my video, the rest snaps to it and changes it's position, so I can never allign the footage to the music without messing up at some point because I go back and change something. It's hard to structure your editing process so you don't change anything when you go over it again. It would make editing in this program very very much easier if the snap option could be disabled manually. Or is there a way? Kind regards, and keep up the good work! Juli

Hello - I migrated a Mac PRO (ruuning w/ Monterey) to another MacBook PPRO (running w/ Sonoma).Adobe Creative Cloud asks to migrate the software w/ a compatible version.Since then I got the attached error message. Which is:"Creative Cloud installation failedSomething went wrong and we weren't able to install the app. (Error code: 1)"And I'm stuck here, I tried already a lot of stuff (even trash all the Adobe apps to the bin), but nothing helped. What do I have to do, please?Thx.   - Dimitri

I am using the latest version of Photoshop (23.0.2) on MacOS (11.6.1). If I change the mode to 16 bits per channel and export a PNG (without the option to convert to 8-bit for smaller files selected in the export menu), the exported PNG only has 8 bits of depth. If I export as TIFF, I am able to get a 16-bit TIFF file. From the help center documentation it seems like it should be entirely possible to save 16-bit PNGs. I have no plugins installed.

When working with masks, I can refine with the brush tool or the global refinement sliders for initial selections, but I can't preview alterations to an existing mask...at least not in the large image—I can see it in the tiny thumbnail in the properties panel! I'm watching tutorials where people are doing this (I'm trying to learn how to use the new Refine Hair feature), but even following along with the tutorials I can't preview my changes to a selection within the Select and Mask interface. When I hit ok, I see the refined mask, but not until then. What am I doing wrong, or is it a glitch? Why would I be able to see the changes to the thumbnail but not on the artboard? *I've tried toggling on and off the Graphics Processor settings as I read in another thread, but it didn't work.

A few days ago, my illustrator program started having a problem when rotating or scaling a pattern fil from my swatches. It does not matter if I use a screen grab and put it into swatches or a vector pattern, It makes no difference. The shape changes, the fill stays in one place. With and without all the boxes checked?I have uninstalled and removed all presets, even went so far as to reinstall my illustrator.I have tripple checked the obvious "scale and rotate object blocks" I've been using Illustrator for as long as it's been around, never seen this. It works on our other machines.I have no idea how to fix. Please help.

My yearly plan (paid monthly) is said to renew tomorrow, yet when I try to cancel today, I an threatened with a cancellation penalty for ending my subscription early! So I cannot cancel today, but tomorrow it will renew and then I will be told that I cannot cancel for another year?! Please let me know what to do, this borders on the illegal.

For the past 2 years (at least) Adobe has taken a MONTHLY fee for use. In April, 2025 Adobe took TWO payments (April 12th AND April 15th). During all the times I have tried to edit PDF files with my PAID Adobe program, I'm not allowed to! But instead, I'm offered a "Free Trial"! Adobe: check your records and REFUND ALL THE FEES you have stolen to date! THEN and only THEN, will I use your "FREE TRIAL", to which I would be entitled to TRY!

With the older encoder the upload panel was always on the right side (I never needed to move it). Sometime after I upgraded to 2024 the panel disappeared. I haven't done any work in almost a year so now it's just become a problem. i upload to multiple locations.  Can't find that panel anywhere and can't find a post that anybody else is missing it (iincluding searching here) fp

One necessary skill completely eludes me. (Actually, lots do, but I only need to add this one now.) I have a multipage document. I need to add a page in the middle of it. I know how to add a page and how to draw a text box in it. What I cannot seem to grasp is how to fit that added page within the flow of threaded pages rather than as a separate story. I'm annexing a file so I can express my problem in concrete terms. I need to have a page viii following page vii. I know how to thread between vii and viii. Then I need viii to thread to page 1, and that's where I get messed up. When I click on viii's out box, I get a loaded cursor. If I position that loaded cursor in the upper left-hand corner of page 1 and click, the page 1 material ends up starting on page viii, and then I can't add the text I need to. Will it work if I type my new text before the page 1 material and then add a next page break? (I apologize if I'm not making much sense.) If not, can someone give me a step-by

After uploading images to a API web service I get a stream of information back.I want to create a modal dialog where the information processed by the API is shown. So there needs to be:a text area where the information text returned is updated as more info is returned.I want the currently processed image shown, but in time, this image should be refreshed by the next image being processed. Receiving streaming information seems to be difficult, I want to implement pagination in the API and call from the Lightroom SDK this API every x seconds. Questions: Is there a way to keep on adding information to a modal dialog?Probably the solution with f:scrolled_view with adding rows could work, but this requires the refresh the dialog at an interval and is not niceIs there a way to show the image being processed along the text area from bullit 1.And the image should be changed as the API returns information of a different image. So somekind of slideshow in the modal dialogAny other i

I never thought I would need to ask such question... Will make it short. So basically I have a project with 9 folders/bin and each one has 4-5 folders/bins inside. There is a bunch of videos and photos, and I need to remove the 2000+ Photos from my project.Easy, right? Just type .jpg in the search field select all and remove. Used to be the perfect solution for PP 2015, but not anymore! When typing something in the search field, premiere now shows you the entire folder/bin structure of the files you are looking for. Trying to select the first one, hold shift and select the last one will cause to select (and delete) all the folders in between and what's in them. Don't want that.Great let's create a search bin with .jpg. Search Bins does not allow you to delete what's in them. How can we select 2000+ .jpg files without selecting anything else? and being able to do whatever we want with them (delete, move, label, etc...) without it affecting what's in between? Is there a way to change the way

Hi. I've used the Publish Online capability for many InDesign documents, and this has never happened before. When I choose to share this document on Facebook, instead of the cover image, I get a generic image. Why? I'm not doing anything differently than ever before....

HI!! im looking to achieve the fill/highlight look u get from just selecting the text like image 1, but of course when I change the fill of the text box, it just makes a rectangle out of it (img 2) , is there any way to achieve this? Thanks a bunch!!pS: if there's not a way to make this i highly encourage adobe to put it on, i think it's rlly useful considering the modern trends in design xoxo

Is it possible to take a cropped section of a video and use that to create a pattern fill? I have a video that is 1080x1920 and a small portion of it say 200x200 (basically a clean area of animated dust over black) I want to use to generate a fill for another comp that is 1080x1920 so that dust can be used as a pattern source to fill a larger area?

I continue my tales of old, hoping that someone cool enough to be in the Adobe club, will travel down to the archives, pull out some old VHS tapes and watch what Adobe has created over the decades. Why? Because Vimeo has added video "hotspots". Yes, the "Hotspot" created by Adobe in the early CS days to make web building easier in Dreamweaver. You could upload any static image, draw a box and add a link to any page. Please bring "hotspots" to Adobe Express. And yes, I will post this on the community board. I share here so if there are more votes, it can possible become a reality. General public users, I am one of you and if we all vote together, maybe it will make a difference.

Reading the forum for a few minutes, I have seen a post that lens corrections may be only when the image is stored as RAW format.  For a Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, is this the case?

I am trying to import photos into a specified folder on a Mac. Its a new Mac and I have given Lightroom Classic access to files and folders. My structure is users/<name>/pictures/<year>/<date>It used to work when I imported pictures it would add the year if it couldn't find it and then put the dates and pics in that folder. When I look at the folders listing under Library view I see that structure. When I import now it is creating the year under the Mac HD and not the Users/<name>/Pictures structure. I have set the destination on import to the correct directory but it keeps putting it in the wrong place. I had to turn on file sharing in order to see the directory structure in the import settings as well. Have no idea what is going on.

hi,I just finished college, but I’ve lost access to my Photoshop account and files. It’s frustrating because I didn’t get a chance to save all my drawings to my laptop. My email has been deactivated, and the IT department mentioned they’re working on it, but I wonder if there’s any way to retrieve my files without their help. I’m concerned about how long the files will be kept, so I really want to explore every possible option.Does anyone know if there is anything I can do?

Hi - does the photo prepaid bundle with Lightroom & Photoshop not exist anymore??I only use Photoshop like 5 times a year when I can't solve a problem in Lightroom, not worth getting the entire bundle or an extra PS stand alone :((

Looking for ways that from the admin console to be able to generate a usage report on the apps that licensed users are using and for how long. That way if an license is not activately being used it can be reallocated to a user who does require the license. The reason being is that we are find that members are coming in and asking to get an adobe license when other accounts that are licensed are not using them for anything longer then a day before not being used again for Months.
