Did Adobe break something in Photoshop 2025? I updated it a couple days ago and now the Brightness and Contrast settings won't preview in the box. The effects will work on an image but I can't tell what I'm doing without the preview sliders. Already wiped preferences and reset them- same problem. I normally have the graphics processor turned off on this machine- have to turn it back on for this function to work correctly and this is not ideal. I use 2025 on this particular workstation for reasons, I know a newer Photoshop is available.

Hello. In 2025 for video editing, the color selection for Background color (for behind video clips) is now missing in year 2026. This Background color selection used to be found in the icon menu (that also has selections to Replace, Mute, Crop, Comment, Trash), this menu located on individual clips in the video editor.  Where did this Background color selection go? For example, I would often change the Background color behind the clip from white to "black" so a "fade" out would fade into "black" not white. I hope I'm explaining my query clearly, not confusingly. Any infomation would be amazing.Thank you.

Hello,My company has created Fillable PDFs for a multitude of different applications internally.  The most common is a fillable Purchase Order template for our foremen in the field.  I personally created this form and sent it to all of my foremen.  Each foremen has an iPad with Adobe Reader installed.  Each foreman saved the PO template into Adobe Reader and is able to save / send the form when ordering materials, equipment, etc. from either our office or distributors. The issue we are currently up against is some foremen are filling out and sending a new PO, on their end it shows it being the new PO, but once received it shows a past completed PO.For example: On 10/20/25, a foreman filled out the template, which is saved in Adobe Reader, with a huge order for metal studs.  This completed form was sent to the distributor to put the order in, and the foreman saved it on his iPad.  On 1/9/26, the foreman then goes into Adobe Reader, fills out another PO with

Any guidance appreciated on how to enter numbers in squares without constructing the square? All the responses seem to be for squared number superscripts, which is not the same. Also any idea how to search fonts for these characters? There are no repertoire lists any more as far as I can tell.

Hello,I am taking a self-guided course on layers and keep running into a problem. The course says to select the layer which is a smart object and then use the brush tool to paint over it. I keep receiving the dialog box 'This smart object must be rasterized before proceeding.' When I choose to do that, the brush color does not change the color of what I'm trying to paint. What can I do to edit the smart object with a brush?

I want to create an Action (not a Batch file) that will change the image size and resolution of a .dng file and then do a Save As or Quick Export As or Export As that will stop to enter a file name and default to .jpg. This will work when not creating an Action but the Action will always default to a .psd file in the dialog box. I have tried the following online suggestions to default to .jpg and they all work when not using an Action but an Action will not create any file type other than .psd. 1. Preferences -> File Handling - check Enable Legacy "Save As"- Has no effect on Actions2. In Actions use Insert Menu Item and select Save A Copy or Export.- Quick Export is set to default to jpg but can not be selected in Menu Item and Export As will not default to .jpg type or use the image size and resolution already chnaged in Image Size. Furthermore there is no Resolution option in Export As and no ability to link Width and Height3. Change Background to Layer from Background a

I  updated my macbook pro to Tahoe 26.1 and masking is no longer working in Lightroom Classic 15.1. I've done suggested work arounds to no avail. I have 16GB and Metal 4 with Apple M1 Pro chip. Will Lightroom Classic be updated soon or is there something else I need to do? This is very frustrating!

I am using Windows 11 Enterprise v24h2 on a 13th Gen intel core with 128MB graphics card and 32 GB RAM running InDesign v21.0. I have a document that suddenly starting swiching to the French dictionary, but only within 3 sections/objects. I have checked all the paragraph, character and object styles and all are set to USA English. The preferences are set to USA English. But when I run a Spell Check, it defaults to the French dictionary. I have tried restarting the program and resetting the workspace. Neither worked. I tried restarting the computer and that did not work. Even when I change the dictionary within the Spell Check modal it still reverts to French. So far this is only happening in this one document and I need to go to press today!

Hi, I'm trying to delete my Adobe account as I no longer use it and would like the data deleted. However, there's no delete option under my account's Data and Privacy Settings. I did some research and apparently accounts with active plans or accounts associated with Enterprise. To my knowledge, my account does not fall into either category. Not sure what Enterprise is, but I don't see anywhere that ties my account to the name. All apps including Creative Cloud are deleted or uninstalled from desktop. Under Plans, I seem to have a link to start an Acrobat free trial and under Overview, there's the option to restart my last plan. Would either of these be the problem? Can't see any sign that they are active. My previous plan was cancelled back last October. Did some digging through my bank records and so far don't see any refunds dated to the cancellation (should be £32.99) so wondering if that cancellation process got tied up in limbo. Very confused about how to proceed and wou

I have really annoying issue with creative cloud desktop app. Windows 11, nVidia 3080, freesync and VRR compatible monitor, quality HDMI 2.1 cable (glitch is not presented when I use display port, but then I loose VRR which is the reason why I purchased this monitor)It is almost unusable when I connect PC over the HDMI to monitor or TV which supports VRR screen refresh. The app is flashing like strobo and parts of the window disapear sometimes, then jumping up and down.. Totall mess so sometimes it hard to read anything or do any operation in the desktop app. This behavior is specific just for Creative Cloud Desktop app. No other programs have this issue. Update graphics driver or app does not help. Change any settings in windows have no impact to this behavior. It is persisten problem for month when I purchased this  monitor which supports VRR (because of gaming, no update of app helps.Because VRR working really well in windows and any other app, the issue is obviously on the

Hi.. I have two video clips that are overlapping a you can see.  Due to the way the footage is output, the last few frames of the first clip are duplicated in the first few frames of the clip. Each export/download of video, the number of overlapping frames is different, thus, presently it's a very manual process to align them, and a bit tedious. I found if I set the top clip to Difference Blend Mode, I can nudge it to the left one frame at a time until the screen goes completely black. I'm wondering if using UXP if I can automate this process... basically nudge one frame at a time, and analyze all the pixels to see if they're all black. First question I have is, is there a method to analyize the current frame output in this way?  if so, please advise how...

I'm trying to edit the timeline subtitles in Premiere Pro, and I'd like to be able to add, modify, and delete certain subtitle segments using the API.However, I can't seem to find the corresponding interface. Are there any documents or tips on how to do this? Thank you.

I frequently use the radial blur tool in PS and would love to see a reset button on the tool (similar to that on the curves tool etc.). This is because, when I have moved the centre point of the blur for one image, if I then open another image to apply a different radial blur, I have to close the whole app to get the middle of the blur to be at the centre of the image, and that is a big waste of time. Better yet, a button on the tool that allows the user to place the centre of the effect directly on the image in the workspace (similar to how the eyedropper tool can pick locations on an image). This kind of adaption would allow multiple repositioning attempts and take away the guesswork when moving the centre in the box on the pop-up window for the tool.

I wanted to import files on my Desktop into Lightroom Classic. This worked perfectly for my photo files. However, the PDF and Doc files in the Desktop folder disappeared. Any idea where they went or how to recover them? Thanks.

I have vector objects in Illustrator that are reduced to 1/10 of their original size when exported to other vector programs. I was able to fix this by copying and pasting into a new, larger document. However, I had 2 vectors of the same shape, but one was to have an offset of .125 inch. After pasting the vector onto the new document, the offset vector was .0125 inches (1/10th).

I have a pencil sketch vector file of a Hindu deity. I want to convert it into clean line art. Is there a one-click or smart way to do this?

I'm trying to animate a box from one postion to another, and have it grow, see diagram example. Is there a way to do this?

Currently the iOS version of LR (also the iPadOS version) limits the direct export to Photos app to 5 photos or fewer. Can this limit be removed? I process a lot of photos all the time and it sucks to export to different folders before saving them back into Photos

Hello,I have pasted this text from internet, and I have selected it then selected "bullets" at right (blue arrow). But at the blues lines at left it insert a bullet on each line (including the blank lines). I would like  :1) create a paragraph designer where bullets are put only on lines containing text (not on blank lines).2) idem, but with an ascending number at left (instead of bullets). How to do it ?
