Creative Cloud

I have an unusual one here. I'm trying to reproduce something like the image below for laser engraving. What I want is to have separate objects (or images) for each colour, but with the overlapping sections removed. This is so that when I engrave the red starburst, it will only engrave the red bits where it's not overlapped by the yellow, or green or whatever. This is so I can then use coloured powders to melt into it and get a multi-coloured effect. Is this possible in illustrator? I assume it must be, but I'm not sure how! ThanksChris

I once had a separate account for this site; but maybe I created it under a now defunct email address.  We can settle that later. A month ago I was a guest of my County.  The local police yesterday did what they could to provide an image (mugshot).  However, it is in PDF format.  Right now I am accessing the image and your site through Safair on Mac Monterey.  I saw nothing in this system that would help me to restore a sharp image from the blurred one they sent me.  Your company should have the most expertise in the PDF format.  Is there a way to create a sharp image from this?  I want to use it on merchandise.  Thank you.  Adobe Express was the online feature that I just used upon finding it through Google Search (I hesitated to call it an app).  That did not upload the image.  Yesterday I made a copy of the PDF and changed the extension to jpg.  I could not post this with the .jpg attached; and it would not upload

Hi, I purchased a retired retail license from the website <piracy website link removed-kglad>. I tried to install Acrobat by downloading the file from their site, but Defender blocked it and said it found a trojan (Win32/UnusualASEP). I have a serial number. Should I be worried? How can I tell if everything is legitimate?

Having just posted under Adobe Express, this site cannot distinguish between a post and a reply.  Since you do not show an Edit button, I had to post an addition under my original post.  The site picked it up as a reply.  I hope that does not limit the responses I get to solve the original problem.

Hi!I currently use Lightroom on my macbook and edit photos locally on the SSD. I recently got an ipad Pro m4, which I would like to actively integrate into my workflow and use for mobile photo editing. However, it is not practical to upload several 100gb to the cloud to edit them on the iPad. Is there no option to edit directly from the SSD on the iPad? Similar to how it works on the Macbook? Looking forward to your feedback!

I've encountered this problem a few times, trying to engrave a photo on a coaster or something. I've got a couple of photos like the one attached that I want to do, but I don't want it to look odd where the photo is cropped at the bottom. Is there a way of softening, or feathering, just that edge of the photo, to make it look more natural? ThanksChris

So, just had Elements 2023 installed on my Windows 10 PC. Just like Elements 2021, it tells me thatthe RAW CR3 files are not in a format recognized by Elements.  Jpeg files can be retrieved without any problem.  Adobe support centre has looked at this a couple of times, and have yet to find a solution. Any ideas out there?

whenever i save my ae edit to my phone or export it to the mega app, the audio is delayed, but in the after effects app everything is perfect. i've cleared all my cache and the problem is still occurring   Title edited by Mod.

Is it possible to upload InDesign files to Creative Cloud Files or Libraries? I keep getting an error message that says: “Files could not be uploaded. Some file types are not supported.” Is this a known issue? If so, is there an alternative solution?

Hello, Is there any code API, that allow you to convert all captions into graphics somehow? _ Otherwise, is it possible to program a code that transforms them into text graphics? The problem is I looked at my project.prproj and its giberrish, I cannot identify where are the text graphics I had to see How I can reproduce them. In any case I need a solution. What can we do?   Thanks

I'm sure I'm doing something dumb here but I can't find anything on this in this forum or elsewhere on line.  I'm watching Julieanne Kost's excellent LDC Photoshop "Essentials" course, and she's "Place Embedded" 'ing a .PSD image into her session and it's resizing to her current canvas size.  Mine places (showing transformation controls) but doesn't resize with .PSD, .JPG or .DNG file types.  I have the preference setting checked for "Resize during Place Embedded" (and "Always create smart objects when placing") and it DOES work with .TIF images for some odd reason.  Anybody ever seen this??  Thanks in advance!Using a current iMac running 10.13.4 and PS 19.1.3 (current as of 5/13/18)

I tried to launch Photoshop earlier today, but as soon as the startup screen reaches 'measuring memory' it crashes. I don't get any error code, it simply disappears.  I've tried updating Photoshop, resetting preferences, launching without plugins, downgrading to a different version, updating my Nvidia drivers, none of that works. I managed to launch through Windows 8 compatibility mode but it was really slow and I'm worried it could mess things up more relying on that mode. I tried to install Photoshop Beta, crashed at the same 'measuring memory' point. Uninstalled it and any other Beta programs, didn't work.Used the Creative Cloud Cleanup Tool to completely get rid of Photoshop, didn't work. Went through multiple different versions of Photoshop, all of them crashed at the same point. Sometimes it gets further into the launch but then I receive an error pretty much saying  'Something has gone wrong, Windows will report it to Microsoft' (I can't remember specifi

Adobe needs to start creative cloud. CC has stopped working. Popup reads there is an update available. Popup blocks entire creative cloud screen. Creattive cloud will not update because it falsley claims there is no internet connection. Here I am typing this on the same computer using the same wired internet which creatire cloud can't find. Unplugged modem, waited, plugged modeom back in. Shut down computer. Wiated. Started computer. Everything seems to indicate the internet is working 100% prefectly fine. So, Adobe needs to fix creative cloud. CC has failed. Every app except for creative cloud is working fine. To answer the always asked question - Windows 11 Pro. Every single thing on the computer, except for creative cloud, is up-to-date. The computer internet is hard wired, it is not wi-fi.

Where is the "Character Direction" option in InDesign 20.5? I need to do it on the Character level because it is an English document with a word in another language with a definition. I can't use the Paragragh options. The instructions in Help say it's on the Character panel when you open the Options. But there is no "Character Direction" option in the list. I tried asking the "Bot" which is horrible. I put the same question I wrote here, and it then asked me for more clarity on which Adobe product I was asking about. Then I did a search here on the help boards and the results returned "0". Can anyone help with this??

Real problems getting Creative Cloud to work, download and install OK, then it needs to connect with Adobe and it doesn't. We've tried all the fixes and nothing works

Hi everyone, I have a music track that is on Adobe Stock without my permission. How would I go about removing the piece of music and reporting it? I called the main line for Adobe and they suggested posting on this forum. Is there a way to find out if more of my music is on Adobe Stock? Thanks for your help,Matthew
