Solved

Hi all, I'd like to extend the lines/waves to the left (like in the attachment of the watercolor), creating the exact same texture and color gradient. It should resemble a watercolor, but digitally. Any tips are welcome, thanks in advance!

I made a line & gave it a stroke colour & thickness. When I alt-drag it, the new line is a thicker black line like the first one was before I formatted it. I assume I have something set wrong. Can anyone help me get it so that an alt-dragged line is an exact copy of the first one? (It also happens when I use the Transform tool.)

Adobe,   Please remove the AI Assistant from the top tool bar in Adobe or give the app users a way to hide that feature.  I'm sure there is a group of people who find this tool useful and I am well aware there is a check box in the settings page that claims to remove the AI functions but it does not.  I'm kindly asking that the Adobe engineers just make that check box work so when it is selected, the AI features tool stops poping up in the top corner when ever I open a document, the tool bar button can be completely hidden, and make the AI just hide in the background for when there is a chance the end user would like to enable this feature.  A lot of mature, professional, and understanding software developers take into consideration that feedback from the end users is paramount to developing a viable program.  What is happening now is not just pothetic but  unprofessional and detrimental to most people who use Adobe Acrabat.   Please upvote this in th

I have Creative Cloud All Apps with 100MB I can only install "Acrobat." I cannot install "Acrobat Pro." If I try to do a free trial on Acrobat Pro, it tells me that the purchase is unsupported because I already have access to Acrobat Pro...  but I never see a place to install Acrobat Pro or Acrobat DC...  only Acrobat. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I've logged in and out. I ran some kind of registry repair tool (or something like that). This problem is taking time away from 'important work delivery,' and I'm left feeling very frustrated. I need to flatten a document for printing, and I'm led to believe that Acrobat Pro has some flattening capability that Acrobat does not - it seems that text is still editable after I print to PDF from Acrobat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,The "Preflight" tool is not working for me. I have the latest version of Acrobat. When I click on the "Preflight" option in the "Print Production" panel, nothing happens. All other items in the "Print Production" panel work fine. I got a new computer two weeks ago, and our admin installed all updates. Everything else works correctly. Even in the "Standards" tab, there is a link to "Open Preflight," but that doesn’t work either. Where could the problem be? Could it be connected to some Windows 11 permissions? But then again, the "Edit PDF" tools and text editing work without any problem. Additionally, after starting Acrobat, I sometimes get a popup window about a "manual installation." When I click on it, my browser opens but only shows a 404 error page. Could this be related to the issue? I really don’t know what else to try, and I use Preflight often, so this limitation is quite problematic for me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Can anyone tell me how I can achieve the efffect shown in the attached image in Illustrator?  Rather than rotate each dash individually it would be good to be able to find a quicker easier way.

“Hi, my system doesn’t meet the requirements for After Effects 2024 or 2025.Can you please provide me the official installer for After Effects 2023, since that’s the latest version my PC can run?”

I can't seem to find a way to install Creative Cloud itself on an external drive, and when I try to change the default location for installing apps, I get a notice that "UNABLE TO INSTALL AT THIS LOCATION." Why? I see so many posts talking about how this can be done but why not on my Mac Sonoma system wtih an external drive?

20.5Error:Adobe InDesign is missing required system fonts or CMap files. Please reinstall InDesign.

Dear Adobe,As the tool description you wrote says, please make the Direct Selection Tool select ONLY anchor points and segments and NOT the entire shape/object.The reason one uses this tool is to make such adjustements. I accidentally select and move the entire shape multiple times when editing anchor points, before finally being able to move the point I want. One simple change > Massive workflow speed improvement and less frustration.WIn-Win!

How do I fix the issue?

This is something I use constantly to navigate quickly around the stage to zoom in and out of specific areas so I am just super confused why, after all these years, that would be removed unless it was a mistake.

This is driving me crazy. After this last update, the "What's New" window keeps opening whenever I launch Acrobat, and it just slows everything down. Which, is so annoying when I just need to open a PDF. And it makes me look like a bananahead when I'm trying to share a PDF on a meeting, and have to mess around with these crazy windows. Literally wasting everyone's time. Acrobat is one of my favorite programs because it's so easy, it's fast, I don't have to worry about any nonsense. Why would I? I'm just looking at a PDF! Please tell me there is a way to turn this off. I appreciate the updates, and I know you have to let people know what they are, but the incessant pop ups have to stop. Send me an email blast. Whatever it takes. I'm begging you.  If there is a way to turn all of that off, please, someone let me know.

Hi, I'm building a script for InDesign to check if any non-brand colours are used in the document. The script displays a palette/dialog and fetches all the swatches. The user then selects the required Brand colours and clicks the button to check any inconsistencies. The current script prompts the correct number of inconsistencies. The quick navigation dialog box perfectly shows the next object on clicking the 'Next' button. However, the script is not selecting any object. I want the script to find the culprit object and select it, so that the user does not have to find it manually. Can anyone fix it please. Thanks. #target indesign // --- Global Variables --- var doc; // --- Main Execution --- if (app.documents.length > 0) { doc = app.activeDocument; createAndRunChecker(); } else { alert("Please open an InDesign document before running this script."); } // ============================================================================= // Helper:

I want to paint a simple white stroke as the top most layer. That way, it doesn't matter the layers bellow. It could be a shape layer, a text, some footage. Anything would be coverd by that white paint stroke. I've found a way:I create a Solid Layer and place it as top layer. Then I double click on it to open its layer panel, select the Brush Tool and stroke away. Finally I just click the "Paint on trasparent" check box and voilá. That white stroke is over everything else.Only problem is: I can't be accurate. I'm not painting directly on the screen. I'm painting on a separate panel that doesn't show all the content bellow (all the layers bellow). So there is a especificaly spot I need to paint over but is hard to get there.I have to paint over there to see the results over here. There is got to be a smarter way of doing itIt's hard to be accurate when you're blind. I need to paint specifics spots of that of that W letter.

I don't understand the following and would appreciate it if someone could explain it to me.  In screenshot 1 below, the playhead is on a keyframe with position values 1114.7 and 279.2.  I wanted to pan up the image without any horizontal drift and did so by dragging the image and once arriving at the playhead adjusting the horizontal value so that it read 1114.7.  See screenshot 2.  What I don't understand is why between the 2 keyframes the numbers went up from 1114.7 to 1130.5 and then back down again to 1114.7.  See screenshot 3.  If there is no horizontal movement of the image, only vertical, why would these numbers change?  Obviously,. I don't understand what these numbers mean.  If someone could explain, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

Hi, Hope someone can enlighten me with this codec. The job I'm working on will be displayed on a giant screen. Clients requested that the export should be HAP. Im on windows. I saw this would you advise I dowloand it?https://autokroma.com/AfterCodecs/ Thanks in advance!
