Solved

This might be a simple question, I don't know, but I use to be able to select a layer beneath another with the move tool. Now I can't. I was trying to figure this out on Chat GPT, but it kept saying to select the "Auto-select" check box in the options bar. The problem is, I'm not seeing it there (or in the three dots, or in the gear icon). So how to I turn the Auto-select back on? Thanks!

Hello,I am currently exploring ways to programmatically edit existing InDesign (.indd) files — for example, updating tables and text — and then generate a new .indd file.To achieve this, I tried using the Adobe InDesign SDK and the InDesign API (Firefly Services). However, when I attempted to create a Project, I received the following error message: Incompatible API This API cannot be used in your organization. If you think this is an error, please contact customer support.I would like to understand:Why this error occursWhether there are any required settings, approvals, or procedures to enable accessWhat the recommended approach or supported APIs/SDKs are for programmatically editing .indd filesIf there are alternative methods, or if any formal application process is needed to move forward, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.Has anyone faced a similar situation or found a solution? Any insights would be very helpful.Thank you in advance!

Hello, I am currently using the 20GB Adobe plan on two personal computers, and I also have a perpetual license for Photoshop CS5, which I use on a separate work computer (different device). Recently, the desktop computer I used for work suddenly broke down. As a result, I wasn’t able to deactivate Photoshop CS5 on that machine before it became unusable. I installed Photoshop CS5 from the original CD on a new work computer, and it worked fine for a few days. However, now I’m getting a message saying that the license is already in use on two computers, and I can no longer use it. Since I can’t access the original work computer to deactivate it, I’m looking for advice. Is there any way to deactivate Photoshop CS5 from the previous (now unusable) computer? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello, I'm finding that LRc starts to become less responsive after a few minutes of edting pictures. I see this mainly in simple things like trying to crop a picture, or even scroll through the filmstrip at the bottom of the screen in Develop mode. The program stops and starts and jerks as I try to do things. I try things like clearing the cache, restarting and it doesn't seem to fix it. I'm really only running LRc and a browser at the same time, so I'm unsure what is going on. Any ideas? System info posted below. Lightroom Classic version: 13.1 [ 202312111226-41a494e8 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Business EditionVersion: 11.0.22621Application architecture: x64System architecture: x64Logical processor count: 32Processor speed: 3.4GHzSqLite Version: 3.36.0CPU Utilisation: 0.0%Built-in memory: 65445.7 MBDedicated GPU memory used by Lightroom: 10480.0MB / 24340.0MB (43%)Real memory available to Lightroom: 65445.7 MBRea

Hi guys I got a new job and I'm using a Macbook Pro. For my own business I use a PC.(Not sure it's relevant)I'm having an issue where the Macbook Premiere export has less contrast and the colors seem a bit different particularly in the reds/magentas vs the export. This is with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 using D-LogM.The left photo is the export and the right photo is the premiere timeline. The first clip of the flowers and building (not log profile):I have tested this with the raw clip comparing it the raw clip to the clip exported in premiere and also in premiere timeline.I found that the raw clip and the raw clip exported look the same, but in the premiere timeline it has more contrast. The 2nd clip of the horse:You can see there is less contrast in the export and the skin tones seem different. The 3rd clip is probably the best to compare:That is the raw clip on left vs the raw clip in Premiere timeline.I am working in a rec.709 workspace everything should be default on the Macbook since it's a

Hello, I am wondering if I recevied a text from a Phishing site. The phone number that sent me my 'Adobe Code' is  +1(844)200-2305  Is this legit or bogus? I fell for it if it is!

Is there an option to change what file tab displays? Or set width? My patience is over...Is there an option to choose the displayed info? Let's pretend, that I know in other ways on witch layer I'm on, at what zoom size I currently work and in what color mode...  can I disable displaying of it on my files tabs?! Isn't the whole deal of tabs is working on multiple of them?! Would you use a browser with tabs, which displays Page zoom level, the full title and lead of the column you are reading and some other worthless information, which blocks you from seeing at least four of your other tabs? Is there an option to set tab width? If, it's too hard for Adobe to make these check boxes in UI preferences, then maybe there's a simple option... a slider for tab width? The default would be checked at auto, but if the user doesn't want to see all the [removed], he can manually slide the width of a tab to lover value? Tabs occupied space in "standard" and "full screen with menu" mode So there's no

I am testing a UXP plugin.I want to run the UXP plugin without using the UDT (UXP Developer Tool).I manually created the Plugins/External folder under /Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP and placed the UXP plugin folder inside it.The folder name was set in the format of id_version, referring to the manifest.json file. However, when I launch Premiere 25.6 Beta, the UXP plugin does not appear as shown in the attached photo. Is there anything else I should check? Environment:macOS: Sequoia 15.6Premiere Pro 25.6 Beta

Using Adobe Illustrator CC (20.1.0 64-bit)I have applied gradient to the text, and it is displaying black. Just to prove that this actually is happening, I made a rectangle and applied the exact same gradient. The gradient is working on the rectangle. Nothing, and I mean nothing I can do will make a gradient work on the text. I can change the text color to red or any solid color and it will work on the text, just not a gradient. Just so you can see that the actual characters themselves have that gradient applied, here is a snapshot of "some" of the characters selected. You will note the black to bright green gradient is indeed applied to the characters themselves.Gradients are not showing up on my text. Gradients are working on shapes. It is really making me think that this is a bug that nobody can solve. I have read the other threads, which are now quite old, and have videos which don't exist. This needs to be a new thread with new answers, IMO. I am using the most current version of A

I've just received a replacement Laptop from my insurers, however, instead of replacing like for like, they've given me a Microsoft Exertis Surface 15 laptop, this operates on the Snapdragon X Elite CPU. Whilst this is ok for basic stuff it appears there is an issue when trying to use all the new AI functions within PS, LR and ACR, the issue being they don't show, aren't available, damned annoying, anyone else had this issue and if show is there a work around, any advice is most appreciated.

I messed up moving files around outside Lightroom to the point there is no longer any convention in the file names. My situation now is that I have a missing folder with 222 images. Those 222 images are present in the folder with 687 images. Is there a way to find them automatically by matching metadata such as time taken?

This morning I was using Lightroom and the Denoise worked just fine. Now tonight I try to Denoise a picture, the progress bar shows up but doesn't get anywhere beyond the first dot. Nothing. Any insight? Thank you!

I have a friend that does watercolours. I want to take her image and remove the background altogether so that I can have a solid white background. Now the lighter version jpg attached, the backgound doesn't look bad but if you check the darker version you can see how bad it really is. Since the image is a watercolour, without clearly defined edges, it there any easier way than to  darken the image and then painstakingly erasing the background? Bob

Seria bom poder fazer mais de uma prancheta. Fui fazer um carrossel e me surpreendi de não possuir uma ferramenta tão básica e tão essencial nos dias atuais.

I put a fake DOB when I created Adobe account. Now I want to join Adobe contributor and I've uploaded my passport so I want to fix the issue but I can't find where to change it.

I've never had this happen before but I'm trying to align objects and it keeps defaulting to align to artboard. Even when I draw new objects the align to object selection is greyed out. Tried restarting Illustrator and it is still not working. Grrrrr!

Why in the world is this default?!Anyway... I want to create a sequence from a sequence I already edited. None of the edits have transitions, just straight cuts. When I create a 'New Sequence from Clip" it adds cross-fades to all of the edits.  I tried going in and setting the default crossfade time to 0, but it won't let me do that (minimum is 2 frames). Why is it forcing me to have transitions? I find this totally ridiculous. How do I remove them? thanks.

I’d like to ask for your help regarding my Adobe mobile subscription. I started the 7-day trial to test the app, but unfortunately, I forgot to cancel it before the trial ended. The subscription fee was then charged through my Google Play account. Sadly Google is of no help. I understand this was my oversight, but I haven’t really used the paid features since the trial. The money that was charged was actually intended for my brother’s tuition, so it’s a bit of a setback for us. I’d be very grateful if for any help processing a refund for this accidental subscription renewal.
