Solved

I often check original photo files on an SD card or USB stick using Elements Editor to see how I modified them from the originals. This has the side effect of adding them to the Organizer catalog which i dont want. In My PSE 2018 I then simply had to search/find for missing files, all the offline files would appear as missing, and then i would simply hit delete and remove them from the catalog. No so in Organizer 26. When I search for missing files, the offline files are no longer considered missing.  Thats fine, but how do I identify the offline files? Clicking on Organizer - Filter - Local Media, still shows files with non C: drive locations. The Find menu does not seem to have any filters to accomplish what I want to do. So does anyone have suggestions for what can be best summarized as "identify all files in the catalog with non C: drive locations" and then remove them (from catalog only, not the physical location) task?

I use Photoshop Elements Organizer 2025 on Mac OS.My pictures are stored on a Synology NAS and this is connected as a drive (/photo). Catalogue and tagging works fine. But when I'd like to move the pictures on a new folder, which is still empty, it is not shown in the library. The folder is available through Finder.

I am trying to create a material for Japanese roof tiles and it always comes out incredibly flat. I have tried to put the Tessellation factor and the Height in the render settings higher and beyond the recommended values to see what happens and it has barely changed anything. So it shouldn't be a geometry issue or that the settings are simply too low (I hope). I've attached an example from a tutorial (red tiles) that does something similar and their height shows up a lot more pronounced. The other pictures are what I have in my project. I would like to achieve a lot more movement in the silhouette of my material so it looks like actual tiles and not like a flat puzzle. I've tried a bunch of suggestions I have found online and followed tutorials, but I was unable to make it look right. Is it maybe an issue with the settings for my graphics card? I have a NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti so I don't think it's not powerful enough, but perhaps it's not being used correctly?Substance recomm

Hello Adobe Community,I desperately need help from Adobe Support or a moderator who can escalate my case to the billing team. I've been unable to reach support through chat, and this is extremely time-sensitive. MY SITUATION:I subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud using my previous work email address. I have since changed jobs and no longer have access to that email account. However, the subscription is linked to my personal debit card, which was charged today (January 1, 2026) for 3,367.20 SAR for the annual renewal. THE PROBLEM:I cannot log into the Adobe account because it's registered to my old work emailI cannot reset the password because I can't access that emailI cannot cancel the subscription through the normal portalI was charged 3,367.20 SAR today without any way to prevent itI cannot reach Adobe support through chat (keeps failing or asking me to sign in with an active plan) WHAT I NEED:Immediate cancellation of the subscription linked to my old work emailFull re

I notice a strange difference between the actual filename of a picture (as I can see it in the Windows explorer) and the name that Lightroom Classic shows me. A picture named (for example) "filename_025.jpg" (as shown in Windows) turns into "filename_025-2.jpg" in Lightroom. When I try to edit this filename on the right side in the metadata area by removing the "-2" there, the name instantly turns into "filename_025-3.jpg".And when I try to solve the issue by synchronizing the folder (right click on the folder in the directory structure on the left side) Lightroom crashes completely and reproducibly.Has anyone an idea what I can do to solve this issue (which only appears in one specific folder of my file and directory structure)?

Good afternoon,   I was exploring the 3D paenl, and put a 360º twist on an object. I was elated, and designed a proof of concept for a threaded object. Hubby, aka Mr. Grumpy, spoiled my fun. He said the twist was backwards, making the object lefty-tighty/righty-loosey. I thought I could fix that with a negative twist on the object. The panel did not want to give a negative twist. A web search said it should be possible. I have great ideas for 3D prints, and they are foiled by the twist.   PJ

Hello,I have a very strange issue.  My version of Acrobat Pro (25.001..20997) no longer recognizes tagged PDF documents/forms as accessible.  I use the JAWS screen reader program on my PC to remediate and test PDF documents.  When I open up a tagged PDF document now, Acrobat Pro recognizes I have JAWS installed on my PC, so it presents the "Prepare document for screen reader" dialog box as if the document is untagged.  The document is clearly tagged, and running the accessibility check finds no errors.  All PDF forms I have previously remediated and tested for accessibility exhibit this same behavior when opened in Acrobat Pro.  Acrobat Pro does not acknowledge the presence of the tag structure.  I am an experienced PDF remediator and screen reader user.  I have fiddled with aall the Scrobat and JAWS settings to find a modification to resolve this issue, but nothing has worked.  I am at a loss to understand what could be causing this .

I've used a Wacom Intuos Pro for several years with photoshop without problems. However, within this week, I am no longer able to zoom using the touch ring rotator. Is anyone else experiencing this or similar problems? I am using the latest photoshop update and the latest Wacom drivers.

How to start pagination on page 3 and not on page 1 of a book?

Maybe is too obvious, but I'm missing to reorder a element, by dragging it to a particular layer, or group of layers in the panel.

This will be lengthy:Friday, January 9th 2026 I noticed that the Lightroom desktop app would not open. I have had Creative Cloud Desktop installed on my laptop (ASUS ZenBook) as well as Lightroom, Acrobat, Camera Raw, Photoshop for YEARS and always make sure the apps are up-to-date.  I checked my task manager and it says it is 'suspended', but each time I tried to end the task my computer would freeze and I had to perform hard resets - I did this several times unfortunately. I tried un-installing Lightroom then re-installing, but got the same issue. Important to note here that the Photoshop appworks with no issues. After the weekend in "shut down" mode, I powered up my laptop to work today and noticed that Acrobat was not recognized as a program and I was prompted to select another one to open a PDF - this did not happen on Friday.  I decided to un-install the entire creative cloud app and the apps mentioned above, shut down, and then reinstall. I even wen

Something disappears when I export / when I merge the layers, it looks different, I think it might be the threshold not working when I export / merge layers?

I can't use Adobe Express Web version. After opening any document, even a blanc one I get this error:"Connection Interrupted. Adobe Express needs to reconnect to the font service. Refresh this page to continue working.". I have a Premium account. Refreshing or going back to home and back to the app doesn't work. I'm using Chrome and Brave and I get the same error. Incognito mode results in the same error in both browsers.

Photoshop keeps showing this popup:"We created a new layer with your edits to help you make changes without affecting the original content."after i clicked "Do not show again" a couple dosen times (every time it shows up).  Steps to reproduce: use Remove tool on Generative Fill layer. This creates a new layer and this message pops up. After a click do not show again it stops showing for some time and then begins to show again a little while later. Expected behaviuor: "do not show again" means i wont see it again. Macos Sonoma 14.8.1Photoshop 27.2

I'm wanting to create an Guided Action that will extract a single page from (a large number of) multiple pdfs.  I believe the Extract Page should be found under Pages or Document Processing in the Actions menu, but I don't see Extract Page any where.  Is it no longer a part of Actions? Is there another way to automate this? Thanks!

Hi all. I am confounded by a problem where my MP4 video clips that look fine in a Windows player (like VLC player), yet show high-compression artifacts in certain spots when imported and played in Premiere. Even if I render it, it doesn't go away. If you compare the two shots, you'll notice clear artifacts at the bottom left of the green surface in the "Premiere" version. These just appear once or twice for 1-3 seconds in any one video clip. The format is H.264 10-bit.I'll confess that I still use CS6 (it's embarrassing, yes, but other movie clips don't show this problem). Please help!

Hi All, I have a question regarding the "comments pane".  Is there a way to resize smaller like the bookmark pane? I can enlarge it by dragging the edge to the left side but when I drag to the right it will stop to a certain point. Thanks,Giovanni
