Everytime I open any version of after effects it says crash repair options and then the spinny wheel on the mac shows up and it stays like that forever not letting me use any version of after effects. I've tried deleting and reinstalling and it doesn't work. What should I do

I have the free version and that's all I need but I keep getting these pop ups asking me to subscribe to premium or the app shuts if I open a pdf from downloads. How do I stop this?

Why I can't post more images as like the past days?

I was working on a graphic that had solid colors and no outlines. Now I have all outlines and no fill colors. Did I accidentally hit a key that did that? How do I get back to my intended graphic?

Hi all, Has anyone had any experience creating invisible endnotes in InDesign? This article was helpful (“Invisible” Endnotes - CMOS Shop Talk), but didn't really tell me how to make the endnotes in text disapear. I could make them tiny and white, but the space for them would still be there so some of them would end up looking like double spaces. Any advice you all have would be great.

So - I'm new to the roto brush and am having an issue.  As my 20 second clup renders, the render behind the playhead gets lost - meaning at say the 10 second mark, everything the green line behind will disappear.  This continues to happen as the playhead moves on. Any sugestions as to what could be casuing this?

In Adobe Acrobat Professional, after I select the Selection Tool and close the document, the next document which I open has the Selection Tool selected. (The program remembers the last choice.) What needs to be changed in the settings so that documents may always open with the Hand (Pan) tool selected?

Latest release is painfully slow with even the first mask requested.  This is now worse than prior releases.  Whether GPU is enabled or not makes no difference. Even the pins and lines for linear and radial masks when never hidden can be hidden. ----- System info below: Lightroom Classic version: 13.5.1 [ 202408271704-d15d09cd ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Business EditionVersion: 11.0.22631Application architecture: x64System architecture: x64Logical processor count: 12Processor speed: 3.6GHzSqLite Version: 3.36.0CPU Utilisation: 1.0%Power Source: Plugged InBuilt-in memory: 65480.1 MBDedicated GPU memory used by Lightroom: 6523.1MB / 8017.0MB (81%)Real memory available to Lightroom: 65480.1 MBReal memory used by Lightroom: 8064.9 MB (12.3%)Virtual memory used by Lightroom: 15518.3 MBGDI objects count: 1292USER objects count: 3005Process handles count: 5189Memory cache size: 5113.2MBInternal Camera Raw version: 16.5 [ 1954 ]Maximum

I am trying to place a linked file onto my Illustrator artboard and everytime that I try to place it I get the following pop up after it tries to place. I've dragged the file from my desktop onto the page and it allows me to embed the file, but when I try to "unembed" and link the file, I get the same message that "illustrator cannot read the file. Try to replacing this with another valid link" I have resaved the file as a different color format in PSD to see if that would help, it didn't. I also tried restarting. Uninstalling illustrator and reinstalling it.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

During LR startup I get a Server Busy Window that says This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose switch to to activate the busy program and correct the problem. This does correct the problem but why is this necessary and how to I get rid of the error during start up?

Hello all! I've been using the text animation present for Counter Countdown Monospaced the last week or so without any issues to make little rolling number animations for a corporate job I'm working on. Yesterday I was experiencing some crashes and performance issues with a different project I had running alongside this one, so I updated After Effects to 25.5.0, and updated the Maxon plugins I was using and that seemed to resolve that issue, but when I reloaded the first project to create more counter animations the preset no longer appears to be working.   I tried saving a version of the project as AE 24 but the same problem is showing up in there. It's showing up errors in a few lines of the expression, are there any expression supremos that can help me resolve the issue? I've pasted the screenshots below. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I enabled the setting on Adobe Reader > Edit > Preferences > Documents > Remember last view settings when reopening the file, but this feature doesn't work with some PDF files. I have uploaded an example file where page 1 is displayed every time I resume reading it.I checked for software updates, my Adobe Reader is up-to-date. I've had this issue with previous versions. I tried modifying the PDF file, saving it, but to no avail. Adobe Reader doesn't remember the last viewed page. I'm using Adobe Reader v.2025.001.20756 64bit on Windows 11 (latest version applied).Have you experienced a similar problem? Are you able to reproduce this problem on your end with the attached PDF file? Thank you.

There were some old posts on copying and pasting. I was among those frustrated with having stylized text on to need to copy and paste in different words. I was this many days old when I found that if instead of using the quick keyboard shortcut for paste, if you click the three dots, there is now an option to "Paste and Match Style"!It is a game changer for Templates and those of us that do not design in any structured way whatsoever and need to copy and paste a lot of text after everything is pleasing to the eye.I needed to replace not just the Header but also the image's caption. Being able to design a page, duplicate and then just paste from the spreadsheet and NOT lost my style settings is just a yummy thing! P.S. If you already knew this, why didn't you tell me 😂

good morningmy admin close the actual adobe account and create a new one, same login credential for me but new company profile.i notice that in adobe firefly (new company profile) i cant find the boards and artwork created with the old company profile, even if same login credential (email and pw). runaround ?

Is there a way to cycle through the fonts for a selected text? Or do you have to manually go up in Type/Fonts and select a new font, over and over again? Also, do I have a problem with my mouse or is it impossible to scroll through the fonts using the mouse wheel? I have to use the arrow keys at the top or bottom of the Text menu, and when the thing finally moves it does so in super slow motion. Alternatively, is it possible to open a window showing all installed fonts at once so you don't have to scroll?Thank you.

I too am interested in how the organization can keep the license if the employee leaves the non-profit.  If the Adobe account is set up using the employee's non-profit email account, shouldn't the license stay with the organization that purchased it?

I'm sorry before the question. sory to post such a silly question that is out of line with the community's community.I don't know about Java and the script. And in fact, I don't use a lot of automation. But while working on Photoshop, I wanted to make only one function into a script, so I'm asking you this question. (Btw,i'm using Photoshop2019)Regardless of the name of the layer, how should i produce a script that can send the active layer to the top? As you know, In photoshop already provide keyboard shorcut ( ctrl+shift+] ) But... There are times when layers are in a group or something doesn't go to the top depending on the situation. So if you can implement it with a script, if any layer is activated, I would like to know how to send to the top.Thank you for reading it. I'm sorry for asking such a silly question.

Hi there,I was "gifted" a few PDFs that are originally IRS forms that I have to make some changes on.  Originally, these forms were templates that someone could easily fill in the info.  But now, these PDFs that I am trying to modify the data, when I go to Edit (and I have tried this in 1,000 ways) it selects TOO much of the area (it becomes a blue box with the handle on top).  So when I try to type anything, even if I just select the word I want to change, everything inside the blue box disappears.  It's driving me nuts.  I know that it would be much better to start from the original template and re-create this, but I really really want to learn how to do this so that it will be easier to deal with next time.  Thank you please send help!!!  🙂

Hello How do i make a texture so it can be used as an overlay. Please see examples attached. The white image has been converted to a greyish one. I can use the grey image and use the overlay effect to add textures to what i want. I want to do the same to other textures. Thanks

Hi,Now that RAW Details and Denoise is in the main side bar rather than the drop down menu, I thought how do you select multiple photos to denoise together?  I then saw you can now apply these functions as part of Synch Settings, so think thats way to do it (even if a bit awkward having ot delsect all optiuons then click RAWDetails and DeNoise).     BUT, does the Synch Settings perform a seperate RAW Details and Noise Analysis for EACH photo seperately, OR does it simply apply the "adjustments" it determined from the photo you did first?

I was pleased to see that “Adobe’s AI Approach” (topic offered on app launch) “does not use your images or data to train our AI models. We are committed to safeguarding your creative work.” But what images DOES Adobe use to train its AI? We’re not only concerned about our own work; we don’t want to be stealing anybody else’s, either. We want Adobe to be safeguarding everybody’s creative work. Of course, anything done before the enactment of copyright law is fair to use. But obviously that won’t cover the gamut. So what is Adobe using? Does it purchase stock art with a specific license to use it for AI training? Does it have specific AI-training contracts with specific artists and photographers? Bottom line, does AI have explicit consent for its AI training materials?

I’ve been experimenting with different mouse DPI settings to see how they affect accuracy in Photoshop, especially during detailed retouching and brush work.I used an online DPI testing tool called Check Mouse DPI (checkmousedpi dot com) to measure how consistent my mouse movement is at different sensitivity levels.Curious if other designers here notice similar results do you prefer high or low DPI for fine detail work?
