Solved

I've tried all the google suggestions, but cannot get the menu headings 'FILE EDIT ..etc .' in Lightroom Classic.    Need this to follow instructions in an Adobe video to fix another problem.

I've seen a few older threads on this, but none of those solutions are working for me so I figured I'd post. My Adobe Digital Editions (4.5) will no longer open on my work laptop running (Windows 10 Pro). Solutions I've tried from other threads:-Uninstalling/reinstalling -Running as administrator-Renaming the My Digital Editions Folder-Deleting the My Digital Editions Folder-Installing the program to Program Files instead of Program Files (x86)-Renaming/creating a new folder within Program Files to install to-Downloading an older edition (I could not find a non-sketchy link to 3.0, but I found a 4.0 and had no better luck with it) When I click the icon, it literally does nothing. Not even an error or opening a blank screen. It does not show that the program is running (I'd seen some people suggest their problem was that the app was open but running in a disconnected second monitor screen. I've never connected this laptop to a second monitor, but task manager doesn't show

My problem is very much the same as people have already asked YEARS ago like this one: Color picker lag in Photoshop CC These issues remain unanswered as if all are totally indifferent to people having such problems...The problem is that after installing Windows 10 I noticed a considerable lag in using ALT key for color picking while I'm drawing with a Brush tool. It takes more time than before to take the color (when the color is really changed on the left panel) and that lag is really irritating. If I do it as before, as I usually did (without so much waiting) then the brush tool is activated and I have a brush mark in the place I wanted to take a color sample from! So releasing an ALT key results in un undesirable brush spot that spoils all the work! It slows down the work considerably especially when you a CG artsit and need to blend colors quickly, taking fast color samples from nearby areas, not spotting them with brush spots of the other color! What I've tried so far to save you

Hi everyone, I am currently in a panic. I need photoshop for work almost every day and after updating my Mac Studio 2023 Apple M2 Max to TAHOE 26.4 (I wasn't running Tahoe before this) I cannot run ANY version of photoshop. It runs sort of in the background but I can't see or access the interface, and when I open a file it seems to be there but again I cannot see the interface at all. I’ve been able to run other Adobe apps without a problem but not photoshop. My computer has 64 GB of RAM and 130GB of storage available. I’ve searched over and over again and I cannot find a solution and I am getting very desperate about this.I also ran ETRE CHECK and it doesn't report any issues. Thanks in advance for any help. I’ve been trying to solve this for hours.

With Premiere Pro 2025 suddendly my captions are not showing anymore in the program monitor. Nor does titles work.I have tried everything:- Making sure it is activated,- Trying to reset preferences- Trying to delete media cache- Restsarting the app- Importing an old project where titles work But nothing works.  When I reinstall Premiere Pro 2024 the captions and titles work perfect. I open the same old project in 2024 and the captions are there both on timeline and program monitor, but on 2025 they are only on timeline and will not be exported if I hit export and even though I mark the 'burn captions into video' option. I'm running Mac Os Ventura 13.6.1 (22G313) with 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 and AMD Radeon RX 570 8 GB - 3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W Shouldn't such a setup be able to handle this?

I couldn't find the code name for 'proportional spacing' in the InDesign ExtendeScript API.https://www.indesignjs.de/extendscriptAPI/indesign-latest/#CharacterStyle.htmlSo I installed an English version of InDesign and suddenly realized that the interface between the Chinese and English versions is different. The English version does not even have the option of "proportional spacing".

There is a grey box next to the other generated videos, but the progress circle keeps going round and round.  It has been about twenty minutes, and nothing has been generated.

LRC: 13.5.1Windows 11Lightroom has been really slow for me, and I was sure that facial recognition was turned off, but today I was scanning some photos that had group pictures, and LRC is still recognizing faces when I’ve explicitly turned it off. Note that it was turned off before this screen capture and has been turned off as long as I can remember, but LRC is clearly still doing it. How can I stop this? I don’t want LRC to recognize faces. I don’t want it, don’t need it, and it’s taking computer resources and slowing down my work. Thanks  NB: I am not upgrading to the newest version because it is incompatible with my Fuji GFX100 due to LRC’s native tethering causing issues. Thanks

For the past few months (all autumn tbh) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC keeps opening only seconds after whenever I just exited a game. Doesn't matter what game or how I play it - just from my desktop or through a game client like Steam/Battle.net, it keeps happening. This seems like the opposite problem everyone else has, as whenever I've tried to look it up in Google all I get are only results for the program crashing/closing, not unexpectantly opening.  I've so far found no settings I can edit to make it stop. Only thing I can do every single time is to just simply close the program. But this is getting tiresome after so long. My computer runs Win 10 Home if that helps. Any suggestions?

I have tried to cancel this subscription, Adobe have been hitting my account for unknown additional subscription costs for additional AI support, obviously a small print scam they are using to ride ordinary and unsuspecting people, I notice a large withdrawal made by Adobe and immediately reported the incident to my bank. After the last large payment was withdrawn from my account on the 25th of May 2026 I had no access to use any of Adobe reader with I had looked for originally, I had to revert back to my pdf viewer Luckily for me they did as there was another attempt shortly afterwards.  Seeing I had been more than likely scammed an I could not find the subscription on my Google account, or any correspondence from the fake website, this has left me feeling quite embarrassed, I contacted my bank again and they immediately blocked any attempts of fraudulent withdrawals from my account bank card and made me aware of the dangers of entering into fraudulent subscriptions with my bank card.

Please advise: When I try to start LrC 2025 i receive the Error message "The Lightroom Catalog 'file name' is corrupt and cannot be used until it is repaired."  LrC will not open when I double click to start. I also have a permanent banner on my screen stating "Lightroom - Opening Catalog: File Name.psd"  This is on the Windows platform, Windows 11. I have tried re-booting, re-installing LrC, but nothing works.  NOTE: I'm an experienced LrC user, and an inexperienced PS user. Before this happened, I tried to save a file from PS, then import it to LrC after deleting a previous version of the same file.  Please help.

Hello everyone,I'm designing an interactive PDF form in Adobe Acrobat that relies on multiple user-entered values, including date and time fields. The goal is to ensure users enter complete and valid information before calculations are performed. Similar input workflows can be found in online tools such as:https://calcolaascendente.it/I'm evaluating different approaches inside Acrobat forms and would appreciate advice from those with more experience.Specifically:Is it better to validate fields using Acrobat JavaScript or built-in field validation? How do you handle incomplete date/time combinations without confusing users? Are there recommended techniques for preventing calculation errors when required fields are missing? What approach scales best when a form contains many dependent fields? My priority is creating a reliable and user-friendly experience while keeping the form maintainable over time.I'd love to hear how others handle complex input validation in Acrobat.Thank you.

My computer restarted after windows updates and now I'm unable to preview pdf's as before. I have tried resetting View Options... in different options as suggested by multiple forums. None have been able to re-activate the Preview Pane option. In Adobe preferences, I've checked and unchecked "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" without success.Coworkers are now experiencing the same thing after the automatic updates occurred after-hours. Suggestions or alternatives to opening each file?

I’m having an issue with the Pixieset Lightroom Classic plugin and need help recovering my published photo associations. My normal workflow is to use separate Lightroom Classic catalogs for different clients. From each catalog, I go to Publish Services → Pixieset, create/select the appropriate Pixieset collection and Highlights set, drag photos from my Lightroom Library into the set, and publish them.Until recently, when I opened one of my Lightroom catalogs and accessed Pixieset under Publish Services, my existing Pixieset collections would appear with the photos already associated with their corresponding sets.Something changed yesterday. Now the collection names and Highlights sets still appear in Lightroom, but they show 0 photos. The actual photos and galleries are still completely intact and visible on my Pixieset account. The behavior is also catalog-dependent: when I open a catalog containing the photos originally associated with a particular collection, those photos can still ap

This behavior occured in the last week, after the latest upadate of Lightroom Classic.  Other approaches yielded the same deletion of the selected image.

I obtained access to Premiere Pro about 3 weeks ago and began the tutorials that were provided when I opened the app. However, I had to step away and today I noticed there is a new series available with a different instructor. While trying to download the sample files to follow along, I get the following error: This is true in either Chrome or Edge. And I have followed all of the steps recommended to get past this type of error (up to and including our IT folks and internal security protocols). This leads me to believe the issue is with where the files are being held. I do not have this issue with the advanced course files or the course files found in Ae and Ch tutorials.

How do I stop Acrobat from displaying these annoying and instrusive banners whenever I open Acrobat on my Mac?I feel like I'm running crappy adware…

I want to convert a folder full of HEIC files to JPEG and I was hoping Bridge could do this as a batch process.I am getting the following error message in Bridge (which spawns Photoshop CC in the process) when I try to open an HEIC image file:"Photoshop Camera Raw does not support HEIC files on windows". The Adobe Help page titled HEIC and HEVC media files support in Lightroom and Camera Raw says:"In the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box, ensure that the JPEG/HEIC field is set to either Automatically open JPEGs and HEICs with settings or Automatically open all supported JPEGs and HEICs. To access Camera Raw Preferences, click the Open Preferences Dialog button  in the Camera Raw dialog box." Whether from Bridge or PS I do not see the above text in my Camera Raw Preferences dialog box even though I just updated LR Classic CC, PS CC 2019 and Camera Raw this morning. Why is the Program Monitor displaying a negative image?  I have a new install on a new computer, going from a WIN10 to WIN11 machine.  WIN10 was fine.  In the PM settings, it is set for composite video,  resolution ½ (tried others). This is the first project and first opening of Premier, with the first source video I put in.   I have not made any changes. I tested export or the source clip and the rendered video looks fine.  Stumped.

I am tryin to edit a multi angle concert. All Audio works fine until I right click my files, go to Multi-Camera and click enable. Then my audio doesnt play back anymore. I have "Audio follows video" selected in the muli-cam playback monitor as well. If i disable Multi-Camera on the files the audio works again. Please help. I sent the audio away to be mixed/mastered and want to get all my video editing done for when the file is back on monday.

Photoshop 2025 Elements won't open, says I need to “buy now”. It let me use it for 7 days by clicking free trial, but now since the 7 days won’t open I’m unable to open it on my PC. I bought a 3 year term lease on 3/5/2025 so I know it hasn’t run out yet. I reinstalled it and I still get the same message. I tried the chat but because it says I don’t have an active plan it won’t let me chat with a human, and AI doesn’t have a clue. I’m using the same email address I did to redeem the code from Amazon. Please help!!!

I am having an issue with the font Grappa Variable not showing up as available in my iPad Illustrator app. I’ve synced it to my Adobe CC account and it shows up in the iPad Photoshop app just fine. Other variable fonts from Adobe CC have synced just fine to my Illustrator app on iPad. I have a 6 generation iPad Pro, and I’m using the latest version of the iPad Illustrator app. I’ve tried removing and re-syncing the font to my account, quitting the Illustrator app, logging out and back in, and restarting my iPad, but nothing has worked to make Grappa Variable show up in Illustrator. Is there anything I can do to make it work?
