If I create a new layer from background, it will move the background, regardless of what layer I have selected.  If I lock the background, it goes back to just selecting.  What gives?

Hello Adobe team, my question is:What are the future plans or upcoming features for the Rush mobile app?Compared to other mobile video editing apps, Rush is significantly lacking features needed to compete in the mobile market. For example, it's missing things like automatic subtitles or AI implementation. When I tested it, it was alright, but being an Adobe product and knowing the capabilities of Adobe Premiere Pro, I expected more. If significant improvements can be made to the app, why does it lack basic, current tools found in other mobile editors, essentially forcing users to seek (and potentially pay for) alternative programs? Thanks, and have a great day!

Hi everyone. I have looked everywhere for an answer and can´t find it anywhere. I´m having this specific problem that I can´t drag a transition to my clip. When I clic on top of the transition, before start dragging, the mousse shows me a hand with a cross on top. Any ideas why? I am really new at this so it might be something simple I am missing. Help!

I'm running the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro and everything works great so far except for mask tracking. It simply doesn't work. I create a mask (currently doing this in Lumetri color) and hit "track mask forward". The tracking progress bar comes up and nothing happens. No progress shows up and eventually I just stop it. Any ideas as to how I might troubleshoot this?  Thank you!

Parametric Filter is good and useful, hope it will be available on Not Beta version

I'm photographing a professional doctor for a magazine cover and will teather my Sony A7iv to my Mac Book Pro to LRC. How can I use a PNG, PDF or other format overlay over my image of the doctor so I know where the cover text will located.

In the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am unable to move a check box without it resizing.  No matter what I do, when I try to select the check box to move it, it will not select but only change the size.  The arrow doesn't appear to move it. I have used this product for years, but have never had this issue before. The only way I can move it, is if I zoom in on the check box 250 percent.   I am very frustrated! Any ideas how to change the setting to make the select object arrow automatically appear?

2 of the 5 people have signed the document. Person 3 can't find the document to sign. Is there a way to resend the document with the two previous signatures to person 3 and continue the signing chain to persons 4 and 5. I am hoping to not have to start the whole process over and have persons 1 and 2 resign.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to call the Object Selection Tool in Photoshop using a script — in the same way as pressing the W key on the keyboard. So far I’ve tried:Switching tools with Action Manager code (select with objectSelectionTool).Using app.currentTool.None of these approaches reliably activate the Object Selection Tool across different Photoshop versions.Has anyone successfully scripted this so that it behaves exactly like pressing W?If yes, could you share the code snippet or approach you used? Thanks in advance!

Why is the Dynmaic Link Manager not automtacially stopped when I try update my software? Instead we do a dance of scheduling it three or four times before I just give up. Yes, I could do a search in my Mac Utilities and open Activity Monitor and force quit it but why do I have to? If this needs to be closed, close it! Or find a work around so we don't have to!

I have no idea the technical terms for this, but I'll start with the example that's easiest to type out. When I double click on a paragraph style to open the settings, the window appears behind the program. In order to see it, I have to use one of my hot corners (I'm on a Macbook Pro) to show mission control and then select InDesign and then the window will be visable. This happens for all dialog boxes like that in just InDesign, all other Adobe programs are working fine. Does anyone else have this problem? It's hugely inconvenient to have to swipe up every time I want to adjust a paragraph style or color or export something, etc.

I've just started using Firefly Boards and notice that some images I upload are showing up as very low quality/resolution. Seems to not happen with the smaller version of the image, but I would rather get a warning or rejection if my images are going to degrade. Now I'll have to go through and find/replace the bad ones one by one.

QR codes have been generated dynamically!A nice feature, but simply not desirable for certain purposes! I need some QR codes that will then be published in a printed book, and, sorry, I just don't trust that these links will always lead to the desired destination! An option to choose whether a static or dynamic QR code should be generated would solve the problem. Until then, unfortunately, not with Adobe Express...

I'm importing an image into Adobe Express for a magazine cover. I want the image to be on the right side of the page and have the regeneration tool fill the left side. I can't get it to work. It'l only regenerate on both sides. I'm sure this can done but I've tried everything I've been told to do. I'm using the app on an iPad Pro with 18.6

HelloMaybe someone had a similar issue in the past and can help me. When i try to delete files via photoshop, program doesn't respond. I mean if photoshop open and I go to File-Open and try to delete something I can't, but I could before. Please help me, people)

I couldn't seem to find a post on this subject anywhere so I thought I would ask: I have one adobe profile that has captivate 12 attached to it, and another profile that has adobe creative cloud attached to it. When I'm signed into one, I can't open the apps from the other profile... I get a pop up saying I need to start a free trial. It won't let me sign into the apps separately with different profiles.Has anyone else had this issue? Is there no way of merging the profiles? The company I work for has given us all adobe creative cloud access, but we only have 2 captivate licenses. So I'm not sure how merging the accounts may work if that is even an option.

Install hangs at 46.6% three times.  Tried for 2 days. Turned off all VPN and virus detection. Error msg MSVCP140.dll not found. Error msg VCRUNTIME140.dll not found. Downloaded, installed, and ran CC cleaner three times. Error msg says download www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp. This does not exist. Error msg 404 file not found. I paid for a product I can't use. Very angry. It'd be nice to talk to a human who can actually understand and fix a problem. And looking at the community, this is not a new problem. Adobe should be able to fix this.

Im over it. 2x this week since last update. Any recommendations on another application I can use?

When I make changes to photos in bridge using camera raw, it only changes it on bridge. I figured this is like any other photo editing application where it also changes the original source image. For example, when I use a photo editing app on my phone like Snapseed, once I make the changes on the app, it'll actually change the original image in my photos. Is it possible to make it so that when I change images on bridge, it also changes the original source images I have on file?

I have just gone onto this forum with a similar problem to the one recently described.  I am trying to import movie files from an Iphone into Premiere Elements.  I have the error message "the importer reported a generic error".  I tried using Handbrake as suggested and seem to be able to import the file now but it is only the audio that is coming in.  Any ideas??

Hello, since I have a bunch of layers to handle, I wanted to pre-compose them to organize the workspace. However, the 3d layer won't work when I pre-compose them. Am I supposed to turn the collapse transformations off?

(DE) Ich habe in InDesign das Problem, dass sich beim Einstellen des Kerning-Abstands nicht nur der Abstand zwischen den gewünschten Zeichen verändert, sondern auch andere Abstände beeinflusst werden. When using the 'Read out loud' function I cannot change the 'Words per minute' or the 'Pitch'. I am experiencing this issue in both Acrobat Reader as well as Adobe Pro DC. I am using the Mac version with the following information as shown below. The speed is too slow to use the function rendering it useless.Acrobat Pro DCArchitecture: x86_64Build: 19.10.20064.311007OSX Mojave
