Solved

Hi, I need to use Adobe After Effects for an assignment.I've used adobe apps before on my laptop and at school computers but on my desktop (Windows 11) I seem to suddenly keep running into problems.First I try installing After Effects independently and keep running into error 206. I go through every solution, including turning off my firewall but nothing works.I get the reccomendation that I install the Creative Cloud app to manage installations and apps through there.I download Creative Cloud completely fine, but now I'm running into error 118 which is strange because my connection is completely fine! Additionally, it seems like the error keeps popping up erratically. I know 118 typically signifies a problem on the users side but this just doesn't seem right. I have a video attatched showing what I'm talking about here. Any help on finally getting After Effects to install so I can do my assignment?

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. I hope someone here will be able to help me. I am experiencing a very annoying problem in AE. When I preview a composition, about 1s into the preview, the audio skips forward slightly. It skips forward a different amount and at a slightly different place every time I preview, sometimes not happening at all. I am using the latest version (18.2.0), but this happened on previous versions. I even tried installing 17.0 to no avail. It happens on every project, no matter the project/composition settings or contents of the composition (even just a single .mp3 or .wav file). It doesn't affect audio-only previews (Numpad .). The info panel indicates that it is playing real time. Things I have tried:Purging all memory and disk cacheDeleting the preferences fileUsing both AE 17.0 and 18.2.0Using a different computer (it happens on my laptop and desktop)Every combination of 41/48/96kHz in Project Settings and Audio Hardware PreferencesBot

Hi there, so I just updated my Premier version to the 2025 vers. but this was happening when I tried to work with it last night too, with 2024 vers.. So far in efforts to resolve the issue on my own I have -restarted my computer-restarted my program-created a new file/project-cleared media cache...twice-disabled hardware accelerated decoding in settings, every time I open the program this setting has remained disabled. The problem: Whenever I try to play anything back whether its in source or sequence track, the first two seconds play as if its being scrubbed, no matter the method I use to start it (shift-I, the button for "Go to In", nor just using a mouse click). It speeds through it, and the audio is all glitchy too so I literally can't edit when my style is based within these seconds. Please help, and I am sorry if I am asking a question thats already been answered but I am really sick right now and my head really hurts, if you send me that thread in the comments or a pm I woul

Hi,There are two different databases on the same server (MSSQL) with a Coldfusion datasource added. How can I restrict access to these databases for two different developers who are developing with Coldfusion? Both users have file systems at a level that only they can access. For example, only user x can access database a. User y can access database b. User x, who has access to database a, can access the database that he/she does not have permission to by typing <cfquery name="GetAll" datasource="b{coldfusion datasource that he/she does not have permission to}">...</cfquery>Is there a way to prevent this?

Hi,since I am sometimes confronted with the issue of adjusting image proportions, I had an idea for a small add-on in the unit pull-down-menu in image size / canvas size: ProportionI am using this pretty frequently "by hand", but it would be neat if Photoshop calculated (on the basis of the given image proportions) the relative size of the image height / length with regard to a reference proportion. For instance let's say: I take 16 as a length reference (with the goal to resize for a 16:9 format) and PS calculates the according fraction of the height... Best regards, Andreas

I accidentally deleted an endnote, no 67, in a book I'm working on. I have tried to reinsert it on the original page in the text and to get all the subsequent endnotes to reorder, but every time I do this it stubbornly goes right to the end of the endnotes, no 131, and also appears as 131 in the text. This is driving me mad, and I'm frightened of messing up all the endnotes in the book. If anyone can suggest how I resolve this I would be most grateful!Tom.

I noticed today that (back in release 24.2.0.25), this was added: Force Media RefreshAdds a custom command to the source monitor and the keyboard shortcuts for forcing a refresh on growing media.• There is now a new keyboard command & optional Source Monitor button shortcut for forcing a manual refresh on growing media files. Set the command to any keyboard shortcut you wish in the keyboard shortcut editor. (v24.2.0.25) "Ooooh" I thought, "will this be like a 'Reload Footage' in AE?" No, I don't think it is...unless (I hope) I'm wrong? Is it ONLY for growing media files (eg. image sequences as they're being rendered)? It'd be SO nice to have an AE-style "Reload footage" - please! (I've assigned it to a keyboard shortcut, but it doesn't seem to do anything exciting on non-growing footage). T'internet doesn't seem to be aware of its existence:I've also searched the PPro online manual, with no results.

Hello all,I'd like to bring some custom videos into my Epxress projects that I've created with alpha channels. However, it does not appear that Express recognizes those alpha channels? It just shows them as "black" rather than transparent after I import them. Perhaps I'm missing something? Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro M1 14" (32 GB/1 TB) working under Sonoma 14.5.I have downloaded the latest version of Lightroom Classic (14.2) and I am faced with two issues:1) The import doesn't start. I wait for a long time and, after a while, I must quit LrC and restart it. Then, after a relaunch, the import works.2) Occasionnaly, when clicking on the thumbnail in the Library module, I get a gray window, no image. When trying to switch to the Develop module, the window turns green....Thanks !Robert

Meus amigos, achei a interface, a rapidez e o uso do Novo Acrobat DC incrível.

Gracias. https://app.screencast.com/yk4CqH1plSoXb
