Adobe Premiere

Situation is following:I have a sequence open and another one in the source monitor as source sequence.The nesting of sequences is toggled off and normal insert inserts the selected video/audio tracks instead of the nest.I want to replace a clip with part of the source sequence:I highlight the clip I want to replace in the sequence I set in/out in the source sequence I hit the key combination for "Replace with Clip.. from source monitor (Match frame)"What I expect to happen:the clip gets replaced with the patched video trackWhat happens:the clip gets replaced as nest (with all video tracks) it seems like the button for nested sequence import isn’t working with that command.

I'm tracking down an issue where captions in 608 and 708 tracks and set to Roll-Up 2 (whether each or selecting all and making the change) continue to default to the first item in the list: Pop-On. Captions made within Premiere won't stay as Roll-Up 2, but captions brought in from MacCaption via MCC file maintain Roll-Up 2... which means the part of the show with those captions have Roll-Up 2 but the rest are defaulting to Pop-On, even on output.     (mod edit - Primary thread created)

Hello,I would like to set the audio of my video at -3db, ie : I would like that the audio could go up to -3 db (for the peaks), without exceeding -3 db.What is the best Premiere Pro tool to use in order to do it ?

I just updated to 2026 Premiere and every single time I open my project it crashes before it can open. Switching back to 2025

I’m trying to figure out an issue with some audio mixes where the duration shown in the Premiere browser and timeline does not match the actual duration of the WAV file, even though Media Properties in Premiere show the correct duration (photo attached).I’m working on a Apple Silicon Mac running Sequoia 15.7.3, and editing on Premiere Pro v25.6.4 (although this issue has also happened in previous versions of Premiere and macOS). I sent an AAF to the audio engineer, and the mix he sends back from ProTools comes in with the wrong duration when imported into the same Premiere project.The mix has the initial sync beep, but it appears to be a few frames short at the end. We’ve tested multiple exports:– 24-bit renders– Printing the mix internally in ProTools, then exportingAll results are the same.I also tried importing the file into a completely different Premiere project, and it still reads the duration the same way, so I’m not sure where else to look.Thanks for any insight.  

Premiere 25.5Not sure if this is a feature or a bug. I made a post previously about how it now takes me 5 steps to apply a default transition (click on cut, KS apply transition, click on transition, click on transition again, move to start of cut). Part of this process is necessary because when I apply a default transition, it’s the cut that remains “focused” and not the transition I just applied, so once I apply the transition, I have to find the microscopic point where I can actually click on the transition to “focus” it, then move it. I would swear that in older versions the focus would immediately be on the applied transition instead of staying on the cut.

When changing windows or tabs sometimes the mouse sticks and it messes up all of the panels at once. You have to reset your workspace to solve it and get back to normal.  Os system: Mac Current version: Premiere 26.0 (also happened in 25 versions)

Link Media shortkey/shortcut does not work. Only when doing it manual with your mouse it works. This happens since a particular update in version 25. I am using version 26.0 now. OS system: MacSteps to reproduce: just set a shortkey (for example command + L) on relink media and you will see it does not work. 

ProblemWith the Film Impact plugins included in the new version of Adobe Premiere Pro, the GPU crashes. This occurs on Windows systems using an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti with NVIDIA Studio Driver version 591.74 (released Mon Jan 5, 2026).

Hello,I recently made the poor decision to upgrade my 2019 Mac Pro (Intel) to macOS Sequoia.  I am running Premiere Pro 25.0.  After the OS upgrade I opened a Premiere project I was working on and noticed that in some areas where I had effects Premiere was reporting it was unable to load frames.  Even after transcoding and replacing the source footage, this problem persisted. While I managed to work around that annying issue, a much larger one emerged.  When attempting to export a project it reached 99% and then suddenly froxe my entire system and caused it to crash.  Hoping the issue was specifically with Premiere, I tried again by sending the project to Media Encoder.  Same result.  99% and then complete system shutdown. I have since managed to revert my system back to macOS Sonoma for the time being and Premiere works perfectly with those very same projects again.  I have seen a few crash threads on here, but nothing that quite match

Is there a problem with Transform effect in Premier Pro 2018 CC? It worked fine the first time I applied the effect in the timeline, but after I exported the video I realized none of the transform effects were applied to the video. I went back to the project, and it looks like it doesn't work on the existing clips in the timeline. If add a new clip in the timeline, it works fine.Is this a bug? or am I doing something wrong?I'm trying to create the motion blur effect with Transform(Distort) by key-framing the scale property from 100 to 130.This is not the first time I'm having problems. Last time Premier crashed and when I opened it back the Transform effect wouldn't work. We are aware that customers who saved projects in Premiere v25.6.0 may find that those files now open only in v26 (beta) and cannot be opened in v25 versions. We know this is disruptive, and we’re working on a fix.    What you need to know:  Projects saved in v25.6.0 save in the v26 version format.  Because of this, they can’t be opened in earlier versions, including v25.6.1 (even though it is the current generally available release)  We’re developing a tool that will let you convert affected projects back to a v25-compatible file.     Our Solution  We’re building a small app that will convert a v25.6.0-saved project back to the v25 format. We’ll share more information, including availability and instructions, as soon as the tool is ready in the coming days.     We know that there is nothing more important than the reliability of a project file, so we’re working with urgency to get this downgrade tool in your hands
