I feel like this should be simple but obviously I'm missing something.  I updated my Acrobat reader to DC.  I have the free desktop version, not premium or anything.  I can't figure out how to make a bookmark for the life of me.  Is that function no longer available for free users?  There's no icon to create a bookmark and I've looked all up and down through the navigation pane and there's no bookmarks tab anywhere.  Are bookmarks gone or just gone for free users?

I have installed Adobe acrobat reader on my Mac. When no PDF files are open, I see it automatically opens a “welcome” screen, the default page being the Recent tab. This tab contains advertisements which I don’t like so I would like to hide this tab or perhaps the whole default screen When acrobat reader launches. In Lumetri every time I select the eyedropper and go to the picture Adobe Premier starts freezing and it takes several minutes until it goes again and the eye dropper function still does not work

I am trying to solve an issue that has been driving me bonkers for quite some time now. I am unable to find anything online. Here is goes: I use Adobe Pro DC and frequently utilize Fill & Sign. Lately however, it only lets me fill on one character and then I have to re-click the box with my mouse to add another letter. Needless to say - that's not going to work for me and I keep defaulting to text boxes. Has anybody encountered that and if so, do you have a fix for me? Thank you in advance!

Hi,FrameMaker 18.0.0 on Windows 11I create my PDFs with Distiller. When I click Save as PDF, FrameMaker does something and then shows this message:Are you sure that this file is from a trustworthy source and you want to convert it?Usually I click Yes, as I want to get my PDF, and then FrameMaker/Distiller creates the PDF. However, just now I clicked No (out of curiosity), and then FrameMaker halted, and I could not get it to continue. I had to shut it down.Does anyone know, why this happens? Is this a FrameMaker fault or a Distiller fault?Best regards, Winfried 

PS will not open. I am told "The application “Adobe Photoshop 2026.app” can’t be opened." Tahoe 26.6 macbook with Apple chip. Started with trying to update (from either 27.6 or 27.7) which ran a long time and then messaged: "This is taking an unusually long time, investigating". waited some more, at least ½ hr in total and then canceled the update. Then tried to open PS and got the message: "The application “Adobe Photoshop 2026.app” can’t be opened.”Subsequently I succeeded in updated bridge.

Whenever I open an existing pdf document, by default Acrobat always includes the right-hand side "tools pane", which takes up about 1/3rd of the window pane.  To minimise it, I have to always go to >>View,>>Show/Hide,>>Tools Pane>> then toggle/click.  Or on my laptop shift+Fn Key+F4.How can I change this to not include the Tools Pane in full and just have it in its minimised form, like icons on the right-hand side, which is how it shows when I manually hide it.

This is happening to several people in our org intermittently but enough to where they are reporting about it.Say there is a PDF, (A).When we go to the top bar and press view, then new window, it opens another PDF (A) that we will call (A2).So now, we have open PDFs (A) and (A2).The issue is that whenever we navigate through the bookmark selection on (A), the pages on (A2) change instead of (A). Our Acrobat is completely up to date, all Windows Updates installed, and we’ve reinstalled the program only for the user to tell us that it’s happening again a few days later.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I want to create new paragraph styles named “a1” and ‘a2’ under the “AA” group.When creating them:I’ll first check if “a1” and ‘a2’ already exist; if so, I won’t create them again, but I’ll move them into the “AA” group.If a1 and a2 do not exist, create them. 

Can i delete this temp folder without causing any problems in adobe programs?

I have been using the latest (V27) which seems to be more reliable but is a resource hog.  I went looking around for things to stop to give Photoshop as much of the machine as possible because is taking FOREVER to do anything.  I see 13 “Helper” aps for Creative Cloud running which near as I can tell only are there to make sure I paid my fees.  I killed the 4 Acrobat helpers already.Question: how many of these background apps can I kill and still use photoshop? I am just retouching pictures.  No cloud.  No collaboration.  And yes I paid my annual rental fee.  The only fancy feature I am using is the “beta” photo restore filter.
