Photoshop version 26.4.0 doesn't recognize my scanner.  Adobe Acrobat does. In fact Photoshop on my laptop does recognize my scanner while my desktop Photoshop won't.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer/scanner software and drivers with no luck.Epson Workforce Pro WF-3820 multifunction printer.

Using current version iOS app and current version iOS Whenever I select and try to export more than 5 images at a time, even when exporting as small jpeg files, I lose the option to "save to photos".  It just disappears from the list, and I can't figure out why. Does anyone know how to fix this so that I can just always export directly to photos since that is where I want my exports to go 100% of the time? Thanks.

Hello! I'm struggling to columnize my resume. I want the dates to appear in the right-hand text frame, but no matter how I position it, it doesn't fully line up with the other column's text---even with the same leading. I also know there is probably a better way to build this than I'm aware of. Something to do with split columns or tabs maybe? Someone help me do it properly!  Thanks!

I've been using LR Classic for years now. When I set it up, I established my 'home' for it on my Mac's Pictures folder. Macintosh HD / users / <my name> / pictures. At this folder, I have a Lightroom folder, which contains my lightroom catalogs, backups, and old lightroom catalogs folders. My default folder for imports is Macintosh HD / users / <my name> / pictures / Photos_LR. I back up locally with Time Machine, and I back up via two cloud services - iCloud (plenty of storage available), and Backblaze. Since iCloud backups only support the Destop and Documents folders (not Pictures, downloads, etc), it makes sense that I should migrate my LR catalog(s) and image library to a subfolder under /Documents, so I have a local backup and a cloud-based backup. So ... is this as simple as a drag and drop in Finder? Or are there layers of settings that also need to be modified?  Withing LRC, I can see that my catalog is where I know it to be

The workflow with the pencil tool and brush tool with access to path smoothing is already so fantastic, I'm almost ashamed to mention a slight improvement.  LOL  When you hold the Alt key the little smoothing toolbox pops up and that is fantastic, but it would be slightly improved if it were possible to make it pop up close to the cursor.  Currently, it pops up somewhere and I find myself searching for it.   So, this would be a nice little improvement to an already unbelievably good workflow. And the smoothing itself is just fantastic.  I can't praise it enough.  Adobe really knocked this one out the park.

I am on iOS 18.5 on an IPad. Subscriber to LR/PR running LR Mobile version 10.4.0. I imported from multiple SD cards using LR Import right from the card. I can see Camera Information in the Info view for each photo, but only two of the 3 cameras show up under Lightroom View/All Photos/Filter/Camera. Also, the counts are way off. I have checked and there are no other filters applied that would down select the options. Furthermore, I have added photos into Albums in Folders. When I am in an album and use Filter by Camera, I get no camera options: it is just blank. Screenshot attached. Yes I have restarted the iPad. Thanks in advance

I have an email with multiple attachments, and I want to convert them into separate PDF files. It doesn't have to be hierarchical, just seperate files. Does anyone know any tricks for this? Thanks

I cancelled the adobe subscription yet it still says I haven't and I'm being charged 22 dollars a month that I can't afford and it's $100 to cancel the subscription. Can someone help

Using Photoshop v 26.6.1 with Camera RAW v 17.3.1 I encounter frequent hangups. This requires me to exit and reopen Photoshop.  Most of the time my work is not recovered.  Most of the time, but, not all, the problem occurs in Camera RAW using masks with Sony ARW 42 MB files. My PC has  Windows 11 Pro,  an Nvidia RTX 5070 TI graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and 64 GB of RAM. It appears to be a bug.  If there is a solution, however, I would appreciate it.

Has anyone else had a major problem with Stack OVerflow errors in PP 25.2.1?  I am wondering if it is just me, and if anyone has any suggestions before I reach out to support?  The problem is so severe that every time I click the mouse I get a stack overflow error.  It is significantly impacting my ability to work.

Hi all, I'm trying to open a PSDT from Adobe Stock but when I do I get a popup saying that Apple could not verify it's free of malware. Has anyone else encountered this? Is it for real? If not, is there a workaround? Thanks!                                            File #:  1262837602

I used to double-click over any layer to activate the layer option dialogue box. recently after updating to Illustrator 2021 the layers option is gone especially with files I have made with earlier Illustrator Version and on children layers only.all layers I have made in an earlier version of Illustrator have colors that I couldn't change in the newer version of Illustrator. This is what I got when double-click over any layer to change its color for example.

HI Everyone, I have a dumb question.   I had some files on a drive on a laptop that I imported into my temporary laptop LR catalog while I was away on a shoot just to see them.  I have all my LR catalogs to do some sharpening and lens profile adjustment on import.   When I got home I grabbed the same files that had been imported on that drive and copied them to my home hard drive.  Then I imported them into my home hard drive LR catalog which is also set up to do sharpening.    Did I just double sharpen my files?  Or if I look at the slider should that amount of sharpening include 'all' of the sharpening that has been done to the files?   If I had done anything else to those files, would those adjustments have come over as well?   I've done quite a bit of work to these and would hate to have to start over but I do have all the original cards.   Thanks!   Thanks!   Mac Sequoia 15.5 LR 14.3.1 PS 26.7.0

There are two different dropdowns (named "dd1" and "dd2") with the same 13 selections ("a" through "m")When "a" or "b" is selected, a hide field should to appear.Example script for both dd1 and dd2:if((event.value =="a") || (event.value =="b")) {this.getField("Hide").display = display.visible;} else {this.getField("Hide").display = display.hidden;} This script works for both dropdown's, however, if the selection for "dd1" was NOT "a" or "b", the hide field needs to stay hidden even if  "a" or "b" is selected from "dd2". Is there a way to add this condition to the validation script for "dd2" (i.e., reference "dd1" and it's selections)? Any help would be appreciated!

I am not sure if this is a bug or just the software. I use Photoshop CC an old version. I have seen my battery draining really quickly recently and have been trying to work out why. I entered Task Manager to see what was running. My Opera browser was using a lot of power and all the Windows systems, but for some reason a lot of Abobe Cloud systems were running. I stopped all the processes from Adobe apart from one that kept reopening, so left that alone. At the time my battery usage was down to 70% and 3hours 49 minutes left. By the time I finishe messing about, my monitor showed 10 hours and 14 minutes battery power and 60 %. I therefore presume what Adobe Cloud systems were running have been draining the battery. How about Adobe fix their software so that the processes only start up when an item of their software is opened, rather than running all the time and shortening the life of the battery and shortening working time.

I have been using the SimHei font for a long time with no problem. Now when I try to print to Adobe PDF from FrameMaker, Distiller gives an error that the font is not found. I can save as PDF from FrameMaker with no error, so the font is installed and working properly. This is also causing a problem with distilling graphics from FrameMaker files for use in RoboHelp. Distiller worked fine with this font 4 months ago. I have tried reinstalling the font and changing permissions on the font file, to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated, because I'm out of ideas! Here's the error:

There are several posts related to transparency flattening in the community. However, I am having issues in both InDesign and Illustrator for the last few months. And I believe it is a change in the software that is causing this. For example: I am attaching two exported PDF files that are identical in creation. One has some text updates that were made this year. All other settings remain the same. When the 2025 file is printed it has transparency boxes issues. The 2024 file prints fine. In looking at the details in Acrobat, the only thing different is the version of InDesign. Version 20.3 vs Version 19.5 (Macintosh)What changed? Can I revert back to test and see if I am correct? I am on Creative Cloud. Can Adobe fix this issue? It is causing me so much trouble. Also, so that you know I read forums.... I saw fixes like this: https://creativepro.com/eliminating-ydb-yucky-discolored-box-syndrome/But I don't want to have to do extra work to get it to act like it did in 2024.

Hi all,  Recently, my Photoshop Beta has defaulted to only using 35 colours with a gif export (save for web) no matter how many times I select 256 colours and the Perceptual option.Below you can see my settings and the massive colour shift from blue to green. Also, the colours that are in the Color Table are all marked with a dot (what does the dot mean?) whereas previously 256 colours would have been used and only some had the dot on the swatch. Please help...

I'm going to be traveling in a month or so, and I had to buy a new desktop computer that was more portable than my iMac 27". I would like to test out the various CC apps I use on the new machine before I leave the country—but I still need to use my old iMac until I leave (I need the extra monitor area). I'm super-wary about anything that would make it impossible for me to work on my current setup until then. So I just want to double-check, is it possible to: - Deactivate the CC apps on my old iMac- Activate them on the new machine and test them out- Deactivate them on the new machine- Reactivate them on my old iMac and get back to work Just want to make sure Adobe is going to be cool with me flip-flopping back and forth between these two devices. (And yes, I know we get 2 devices already, but I have some of the apps installed on my laptop as well, so that 2nd device is already taken.)

When I start the program first there is a window where I shall login, than there is a second window overlaying it"There is an update" with a button "Install now". I am not able to click the button and I have to kill the program. I neither can update the program nor start it.
