I need to save a PDF/A as a PDF/X.  I own a three year license for Acrobat Pro 2024, installed on a Windows laptop.  When I choose Save as Other / PDF/X, it says it needs to download additional components and to wait.  Several minutes later it reports that it can’t download and gives a link for manual download.  https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/download-64-bit-installer.htmlDownloading and installing that version says that my account (which it recognizes) doesn’t have a subscription and that I need to buy a subscription (instead of my existing license).  I obviously don’t want to do that - my existing purchase of the full version of Acrobat Pro 2024 should be capable of a Save As, right?  My license also includes access to the online suite that operates in my browser.  I was able to upload my file to Adobe Express to see if I could save it as PDF/X that way.  It garbled all my tables, however, and so is unusable.  Seperately, is it possible to save as an epub?  The converter I used f

I am self-taught in Illustrator and I know there are simple ways to do some things that I manually do.  I'm trying to place 22 small circles evenly on a circular path.  I don't want the large red circle in the graphic at the end.  What are all of the steps to do this?

Because of problems running LR CC with Tahoe etc I decided to changeover to a new MacBook Pro M5. Migrate the old Mac to the new will give deviations and is not advisable (mentioned in this forum). Is the only way to copy all details from old LR CC to a harddrive and paste them into the new LR CC new MacBook Pro M5?

Using Acrobat Pro DC on DELL PC with windows 11.When using “Add text” and start typing an address, the street numbers print correctly.  As soon as the space bar or dot(.) or dash is pressed, the cursor jumps behind the number and starts typing there. So when I type 1234 Main Streetit shows ups as:Main Street 1234Then when I right click inside the text box, select “Right to Left”, then right away select “Left to right”, it corrects the mix-up and shows as 1234 Mail Street.  I only have English language on my computer and no other languages, particularly no middle-eastern language where everyone suggests it would be the culprit.I have done extensive research and gone through all settings and everything looks good, especially LTR & RTL settings, Preference\Language and Preference\Content Editing.Any help as to why the cursor jumps, is appreciated.

It started back in March and has persisted ever since. I have the latest, updated version of InDesign and Windows 11. I did not make any changes prior to the issue, and I have a newer desktop computer. I have been working with InDesign since it was the Pagemaker program, so knowledge is not an issue here. And, I have never had this problem in my 33 years of using Adobe programs. That being said, here is the issue:Randomly, when I edit an existing paragraph or character style, it can take 30 seconds to over a minute to be able to make that change. It happens when I choose a different setting, and also when I hit okay.  If I close ID and restart, it helps a bit, but not completely, and the issue continues to worsen as I make style changes.I have deactivated all fonts, and that did not help.I have installed and reinstalled ID, and that did not help.I have rebooted  SO MANY timesI have tried to delete my font cache, but I get a message that it is in use even after

When printing in Photoshop the default resolution is 240 dpi. I would like to increase this to 300 dpi and would be grateful for advice on how this can be done.

First, I really like this feature. Having actions available as buttons with assigned shortcuts can significantly speed up repetitive workflows.A few suggestions:Shortcut conflicts: If a shortcut is already in use, Photoshop should show which command or action is using it and allow users to reassign that shortcut directly from the conflict dialog instead of simply blocking the assignment. Editable save settings: For save-related actions (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, PSD, etc.), it should be possible to open and edit the associated save settings directly from this panel, including compression, transparency, ICC profiles, metadata, layers, and other format-specific options. Better keyboard navigation: Pressing Enter should save changes immediately. Pressing Esc should return to the previous screen. The entire interface should be fully keyboard-accessible. Basic UX. Save button placement: The Save button sits at the bottom of the panel. Consider moving it higher, duplicating it at the top, or relying

Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5 don’t work. When attempting to generate, the following error message is displayed almost immediately: “Can't load. Reference content can't include real human faces when using this model. Upload a different asset or try a different model.”

Hi everyone,I am writing an ExtendScript for InDesign to automate inserting Data Merge fields from an active data source (like CSV/TXT) into specific text frames.Currently, my script inserts the field name as static, plain text (e.g., just printing <<Country>> or the actual value from the source), but it does not behave as a dynamic Data Merge placeholder. When I preview or merge, InDesign doesn't recognize it as a merge field. Here is a screenshot of my Data Merge panel: My Goal: > I want to target a specific text frame, find an insertion point, and insert a dynamic placeholder field (for example, "Country" or "Top text") so that it remains a live Data Merge variable. How can I target the DataMergeField and insert it properly into a story/insertion point via JSX?Thank you in advance for your help!

I am trying to find where my locally stored folders/images are located on my iPad, I can’t locate them.

I cannot print to A3 even thou the acrobat knows the document is A3. Changing the detailed settings has no affect. The print preview box in the print dialogue box will not change from A4.

I was given a lot of photos of diagrams and asked to remove the creases so they would look a bit flatter. How can I do this in Photoshop? The photo shows an example of creases.

Hi - got a new printer (HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e) and I cannot do my usual scanning through Adobe with the Adobe menu. I can use the scanner’s native user interface which brings up the very simple (small) scanning window, but I don’t want that. I want to use the green area below - and it won’t work. What can I do to do this once again? Thank you.

Someone gave me a ton of LRF files to begin working on a project because it was going to take a while to upload the full quality. I renamed the LRF files to have an mp4 extension to begin working. I’ve now have access and have downloaded the original higher quality mp4 files, but I am struggling to link them in Premiere.I’ve selected all the “Low-res” video files in the project and clicked “Make Offline...” but when I try linked said file to the Hi-res mp4 nothing seems to happen. What’s the best way to go about this?

I cannot log out of the forum while I am logged in. Also, where can I change my nickname?

Is there a way to turn off the sample text in the Photoshop Character palette? I thought I had this one solved by just setting the "Number of Recent Fonts to Display" to "0". This tactic has worked for years and it was working but now the previews are back even with the 0 recent fonts set. I can't figure out how turn them off and I’m about ready to uninstall the most recent Photoshop updates.

I have a new install of Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Photoshop. Before I did anything, I tried using the brush tool to paint a line. I discovered that at 100% hardness, the brush tool does not fill the circle that represents the brush all the way to the edge. See attached photos. (1) The first photo shows the brush filling black paint on a gray background. You can see that the paint does not fill in to the edge of the circle. The brush is set to 100% hardness, 100% Opacity, 100% Flow, 10% Smoothing. Default setup from Adobe install. (2) The second photo shows the Settings for the Cursor in Preferences. Again, all default from Adobe. Why is this not filling the circle 100% and how can I change this? Thank you!

I made a shape with the pen tool and then put a grid over it. I wanted to use the paths on the grid to divide the shape but it is not working. I make sure the path was above the shape, I tried just cutting with the scissors, and even making another shape with the pen tool but nothing works.

Hi!I have been having an issue with my libraries being extremely slow for uploading, viewing, and even scrolling through the panel. I am drawing in Fresco, using Photoshop to label and upload to libraries, then animating in After Effects. My drawing canvas is large (6000x6000px) so I can zoom into the assets when I animate and there are a lot of assets in my libraries, but I've never had a problem in the past. The past few weeks, I've only been able to upload two or three assets at a time before the library gives me spinning wheels in all the thumbnails and takes about five minutes to freak out before letting me put anything else in the library. At times, all the asset thumbnails are loaded, but it just won't let me drop in an asset. In After Effects, the library panel will freeze and I won't be able to click or scroll. Closing and reopening the panel does not work. Restarting the program only lets me upload a few assets before it reloads or freezes again. This has made librar

I’m working on making my PDF exports more robust and accessible, and therefore including Articles. In a recent project, I fumbled through InDesign’s Articles panel (not a great experience) and managed to see the <Art> tags appropriately names and exported across into the resulting PDF. But in Acrobat, there’s also an Articles panel that shows nothing. What gives? Is there a separate, different thing in Acrobat for articles outside of Accessibility Tags? Or did I miss something to have InDesign automatically build these, too? Any insight is helpful. Images below show the successfully-populated Tags, but an empty Articles area.Tags in Acrobat, showing successful list of <art> from InDesign-made Articles. Empty Articles panel in Acrobat. What’s supposed to be here and how do I build it properly?

I am trying to tether my Sony A7V to Lightroom Classic on my MacBook Pro.  When I try Lightroom just gets stuck trying to detect my camera.  I was able to connect my camera using Imaging Edge Desktop so I know it's not an issue between my camera and computer or my USB-C cable.  Both my camera and Lightroom are completely up to date.  I’ve tried following every tutorial I can find but I haven't found any specific to using the A7V.  My menu titles are all slightly different and in different spots than older versions of the camera so I’m not 100% sure I have everything set up right on my camera.  Since it is working with Imaging Edge though, I assume I am.  I’ve also tried deleting Lightroom Classic preferences on my Mac which I saw in a few posts with similar situations but the files I was supposed to delete did not exist.  Could it be something to do with my camera being a relatively new release?  I have only started being able to open RAW files in adobe in the last couple months becaus

I am trying to sign a PDF content with a digital signature certificate created through ADCS Internal Root CA. When I open the signed PDF document to Microsoft Edge it is showing “Signature Valid” but when I open the signed PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader (latest version) it gives -“Error during signature verificationAdobe Acrobat error.Bad parameter.”I am using BouncyCastle for CMS signature generation. I have tested my signing code with just PFX loading and CMS signature generation steps on a small text and I have found the CMS verification is successful. But whenever I use the same code to sign the PDF it gives “Bad parameter” and also the openssl cms verification test fails. Based on these observations I feel there is something regarding the PDF structure after embedding the signing part into the original PDF which causes the “Bad parameter” issue.I am hereby providing some structural information of the signed PDF as attachment.Any help will be highly appreciated.

I’m curious if there is the ability to filter images by color label in Lightroom Mobile? This doesn’t seem immediately obviously possible.
