Solved

Out of the blue, InDesign started to hang indefinitely upon startup yesterday. InDesign v21.3.0.60 on macOS 14.8.3 on am M1. The splash screen appears, then stops at "late initialisations", and eventually spits out an error message/trace of 87 pages, and that's it.Strange thing is it starts normally if I disconnect the machine from the internet.Out of desparation I resorted to "AI" and threw the error output at Claude, which suspected that libtypekit might be involved in the problem, but ultimately could not help.Has anyone seen this behaviour? Any hints how to fix this, and get nomal startup when connected to the internet?

The AI firefly generate page is not working. Its completely blank and its been like that for 4 hours at least. Please check and fix this. Thank you.

I have re-organised Lightroom, moving all my images to an external drive and they are now sitting in well structured folders. All seems to have gone well, but when I look at Lightroom, it says there are 483 photos in the old folder Users/myname/Pictures. However, there are no thumbnails of these images. When I look in the folder using Finder (I’m on a Mac), I cannot see an images. This screenshot shows my Pictures folder:and here the Lightroom sub-folderAny advice would be much appreciated. ThanksTerry

Hello,I just got a new computer. I am unable to open the projects I was working on my old computer as I get the following error message when I try to relink the files:"The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does nto match the original file's type (audio and video)."I get this when I open the program and try to locate the files from there as it’s so much faster (it will find everything in the same folder by just finding one). If I skip this and just load the program, I am able to right-click->”Replace footage,” but the audio doesn’t work. They are literally the exact same files that I moved from the old to the new computer. The only thing different is they are now on the same drive as the project I am trying to edit (hence why they need to be relocated) vs a backup drive where I used to store them (the files are hundreds of GB and my new drive is a 4TB SSD while my old one was only a 1TB SSD, which is why I had to have them on a backup 8TB drive and import them f

I am generating images but they are disappearing, I lose my credits and have to re-do the images

We are using Illustrator 2025 (29.4), and a customer sent in an Illustrator file to replace a PDF that they sent us.When we open the file, it warns us that the font is missing. We cancelled to see where it is being used, but no text was highlighted. Then we open the Find/Replace Font dialog box, and it does not flag the fonts as missing.  So our user assumed that the fonts got loaded from the Creative Cloud, and made a PDF. The PDF has the wrong font showing, as it substituted a default font. And now we have to reprint the piece because of this issue with Illustrator. So doing some testing to figure out where the problem lands. I checked all the same dialog boxes that the user did. But I also checked the Missing Fonts dialog box, and it shows the ones that are missing, but still no text is highlighted.Next, I 'Reset All Warning Dialogs', and got the same issue. Then, I 'Reset Preferences', and got the same issue.I'm pretty sure it's an Illustrator 2025 issue at this point. But

I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro and the Request e-signatures feature. However, I cannot find the option to enable SMS (phone) authentication for recipients.I understand that SMS authentication (OTP) may require Acrobat Sign, but I am not sure if my current plan includes it or not.I have already checked the recipient settings while sending a document, but there is no option for “Authentication Method” or “Phone (SMS)”.My goal is to require signers to verify their identity using a one-time password sent to their mobile phone before signing the document. Please clarify:Whether this feature is available in Acrobat Pro or only in Acrobat Sign Which exact plan supports SMS authentication How to enable this feature if my account supports itThank you

How can I see and manage authorized devices? I don't want to improve the number of authorized devices, but only manage (especially remove) them.

Hi everyone,I’m currently facing an issue with signing in to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App (version 6.6.0.611) on Windows 11 (build 22631) in combination with a Federated ID and Conditional Access setup. When trying to log in via the menu “Help > Sign in using your browser”, nothing happens—the default browser (Microsoft Edge) does not open. All other options under the Help menu work fine, but this particular login entry is completely unresponsive. I have this problem since the 2nd may.The only way the login works is by manually deleting all Adobe-related Windows Credentials from the Credential Manager. After that, the browser opens once for login, but this behavior is not reliably reproducible. What I’ve already tried (unsuccessfully):Full uninstallation of Creative Cloud including Adobe Cleaner ToolDeleted all leftover registry entries and temp dataEnabled devtools in the app — IMS or Jump URLs do not appear in the Network tabRegistry settings verified:Added iAcroLoginType a

MfG

Hello. I am contacting you regarding an issue with my Adobe account and app login.Hello. I am contacting you regarding an issue with my Adobe account and app login.I have currently created a new Adobe account. When you access the web (Adobe Creative Cloud site), you are successfully logged in with the new account, and a “Download” button for Premiere Pro is displayed. However, when I launch the previously installed Premiere Pro, only the billing guide screen based on the previous account is displayed.I am unable to switch to a new account because I do not see a menu to log out or change accounts within the app.Additionally, even if you press the download button in Creative Cloud, it does not actually install a new app or switch accounts; instead, the existing app runs as is, and the same billing screen repeats.in other words,Web: Logged in with new account App (Premiere Pro): Fixed to previous account status → It is impossible to use the account because it is not synchronized with each o

Got sucked into trying the 7 day free service. Scan documents App didn't even work properly, so ended up using built in camera feature, which handled photo to documents perfectly. Then I just saw the bill for a year long subscription! I assumed this was some dodgy scam company using these sort of tactics! But appears to be adobe itself. Thought they were better than this, will need to put warnings on all my socials. Don't use this scan software trial. I'm now stick with a year long subscription to an app that is not any good! Does anyone know how to get a refund, even a partial refund?

Hello, I canceled my subscription. I would like to request a full refund. I have not used the service. Please process my refund.

I received an unexpected payment from Adobe, and I hadn't been charged for a long time because I canceled the payments. But today I was charged out of the blue, and I don't know which account it was charged to because I didn't receive any payment confirmation code from Adobe. It was just this random charge. I've already canceled all the plans and I want a refund.

Hi,I need to mark multiple comments in a pdf as complete. To do this, I need to click on the 3 dots (menu) next to the comment> Set status> Completed. With over a 100 comments, this is tedious. What are the shortcut keys to do this. thanks

I normally edit in LrC, and sync my edited files to the cloud, for display in Lr on my iPad & iPhone.  I needed to edit a photo taken with my phone, and needed the reflection removal tool, so I installed Lightroom Desktop on my MacBook, and proceeded to edit the photo in Lr Desktop.  Before I did, the photo had already synced to LrC on my Mac mini.  I completed the edit in Lr, which in addition to the remove tool included a couple of masks, and a crop.  When I opened the photo in LrC, the remove synced, as well as global adjustments, but none of the masked adjustments or the crop appeared.  When I reopened the photo in Lr, the masks and crop were also gone.  I was able to use the Lr versions, to get back to my final edit.  Now how do I make that final edit appear in LrC, without re-editing the photo there?

I am implementing remote signing through a custom Windows CNG Key Storage Provider (KSP) and testing it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.Everything seems to work fine as long as “Enable Protected Mode at startup” is disabled:I can “Use a certificate → Digitally Sign”, the certificate is visible and selectable in Acrobat I can preview the signature, click sign and apply the siganture The file saves without a problemAs soon as I “Enable Protected Protected mode at startup”, it seems to work well up untill I click sign:I can “Use a certificate → Digitally Sign”, the certificate is visible and selectable in Acrobat I can preview the signature Nothing happens when I click sign; no error message, not anything; jsut nothingI understand “Protected Mode” may block some of the components; as far as I can tell, it loads the KSP DLL, calls GetKeyStorageInterface, calls OpenProvider, then stops. No calling of GetProviderProperty,  EnumAlgorithms, etc.Is certificate signing through a third-party custom CNG K
