Solved

I posted a question in the afternoon around 1500EST on 8 Dec. 25.  I don’t use the forum very often.  My first time back since then.My question doesn’t appear in my list of questions.   It doesn’t hit via search in the community. The link in my email:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/select-a-portion-of-aclip-in-which-to-apply-effects-cc2015/m-p/15624083#M576088Takes me to comm welcome page: https://community.adobe.com/community#M576088I searched the subject publicly, found it via duckduck and google.  -- with some of the text from the question.  their link is same sans the #pageposition.https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/select-a-portion-of-aclip-in-which-to-apply-effects-cc2015/td-p/15624004Moderator/Anybody share this experience?  I’m guessing with the recent(?) platform changes things got lost or is this just a one-off?

I have not used Lightroom Classic for many years. I recently got a new desktop computer and I want to use LRC again. My photo library is still intact on an external hard drive. I installed LRC on the new PC. My old catalogs were backed up at E\Lightroom Backups. What is the proper way to import all these photos (1.5T) and reinstall the catalog? I don’t want to lose all of the work I did in the past. Added this sentence just for fun.  Thanks!

There was recent news about the software developers’ wanting to discontinue Adobe Animate but there are a lot of people who don’t want the app discontinued. This software was used by many studios to create popular cartoons and discontinuing the app will cause major problems for the entertainment industry.Would the software developers reconsider keeping the Adobe Animate app alive if enough people petition to have it continue? If not, I was hoping they could create a new app that has very similar functions to it.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8I've been trying to combine 2 pdf files (scanned to pdf using Preview on Mac) in Adobe Acrobat. However, it keeps getting stuck on checking for security settings for a long time (see screenshot below). I checked the security settings on each pdf file and they both are showing no security.I opened the original file using Preview, open the Print window and saved it to PDF under different name and still I can't combine the files. Is there any other way to get this done? I've been searching on Google and this forum for hours and found no solution to my problem. Thanks.

I updated to Illustrator 2017 earlier this week and I noticed now, when I hold my cursor over a swatch, it doesn't show me the swatch/Pantone name anymore.Does anyone know why and how to get that feature back? Please help. Thanks!

Originally posted this on Jan 21 and post has disappeared likely due to the migration:I have the latest update 21.1 and ever since I have been having issues converting pages to PDF from a file I am creating using InDesign. When I try to convert certain pages to PDF, it either will create the PDF but it is corrupt and when I try to create the PDF again, it says there is a background task running and that task is preventing me from doing anything else. Ultimately, I have to End Task and restart the program. It will work for a bit then I will have the same issue again. This is happening daily. I have not been able to pinpoint which background task is causing the problem. Running on PC, Windows 11 v23H2**NEW** Since my post last week, I found the issue but have no control over it. I always use File > Export within the same document when I export pages to PDF. Sometimes the Export to Interactive PDF window shows up and the export works properly. However, sometimes the Export to Adobe PDF

Ich weiß nicht wo das Problem liegt!Ich habe mehrere Fotos von dem Fuchs hochgeladen und alle wurden abgelehnt.

Seems like for no reason overnight all files within the same folder, and same Book, are doing this to the part number text boxes. I have never seen this, any ideas how this happened and how to correct it? I have more than a dozen files in this folder. Other InDesign documents open fine, it's only the files within this folder and they are all part of a book. Maybe something was done across the board to all files when the pdf was made from the Book?

I have been using Digital Editions for a long time and now all of a sudden books aren't showing up in my DE library.  I know I have several in there.  I tried to dl a new book and it checks out of the public library OK but doesn't get fulfilled and show up in my DE library.I am using a Windows 7 laptiop and started trying to figure this out by restarting the laptop.  Didn't help.  Then I uninstalled DE 4.5 and downloaded it again and installed it again ibut still no books.  DE says it is authenticated on this computer and has worked fine for me for the last year or so without problem. What gives?I'd appreciate any and all help with this issue.  This is a program I use every day.

Hello! When i try to Content Aware Fill something it shows me this:After Effects warning: Content Aware Fill Error: Initialization FailedHow I can fix this please?Title was edited by: Mod

I keep getting this error when trying to save my after effects project.  I type command + F, choose my location on my HD, and save it as an .aep (the default setting) and this is the error i get - "After Effects Error: File couldn't be opened for writing: "(name of project).aep". (3 ;; 0)

I set the project to REC709 as suggested, which helped a bit but the image still looks different and flat. I tried adjsuting Lumetri changing codecs, exporting via Media encoder and rendering in another software

Look, can I send you a bank statement? In the image, it is clearly seen that the money was taken from Adobe. And there was no money in my account for months. You activated my subscription because it was today, but I didn't want it and canceled my subscription. My aim is not to disturb/tire you. A clear answer you give me will satisfy me. I don't want links or complicated text that I don't understand. Thank you to those concerned.

I am editing som FM documents that were created in - I believe - FM 4 or 5. There is a lot of equations and they look allright. But not ALL of them. Some look like this: It looks like there is a missing font with the "?Plus Symbol?"... I don't have a lot of experience using the equation editor but the font palette does not show any missing fonts. What might be the issue here?

I am writing to request your assistance regarding the recovery of my personal documents that were accidentally deleted from my Adobe account. These documents were very important and were stored within the Adobe application (such as Adobe Scan / Adobe Acrobat). Despite checking all possible locations, including the Trash/Deleted files section and cloud storage, I have been unable to locate or restore the deleted documents. I kindly request you to please check from your end whether these files can be recovered through backup or any other internal recovery process.

Hi!I don't have access to my Behance and Adobe Portfolio. I have recently migrated my Behance - https://www.behance.net/tomasz_wieloch and Adobe Portfolio - https://tomasz-wieloch.myportfolio.com/ to a Business profile and now when I log in to the website with the same password and email as before it takes me directly to an empty profile - https://www.behance.net/tomaszwieloch. I have selected to not have my account be selected automatically and it still doesn't let me choose the correct account. When I log in to my Adobe Account it let's me choose the correct account though, only not on Behance and Adobe Portfolio. Do you know how to get back access to my portfolio?
