Solved

I purchased CS6 Design and Web Premium in 2013.    Have used it without problem...until the two computer I used it on crashed and are dead.    Can't boot them.I have downloaded and installed CS6 Design and Web Premium on a new computer.Download and install went OK.   I can use CS6 programs on a "trial basis".    Works fine.My problem is when I click "License This Software".I am told to sign in (to Adobe).     I do...The sign in appears to work and then a fraction of a second laterI see the sign in window again...   That loop continues indefinitelyAny ideas?  Help would be appreciated. More facts.     CS6 was licensed on the machines that crashed. The products page - https://account.adobe.com/productsshows my license and no indication that it's in use.The activated devices page - https://account.adobe.com/activated-devicesshows no activated devices. How to get my license accepted.

I recall a couple of earlier posts regarding ES support for assertions; specifically, that while ES supports lookahead assertions, it does not support lookbehind assertions.  In my experience, while the Find/Change panel appears to support both, and I've successfully used positive lookbehinds in the FrameMaker 2022 scripts, negative lookbehinds do not appear to work in ES.  Can anyone confirm this and/or point me to a more definitive discussion regarding ES support for assertions.  I use these extensively to search documents for capitalization, hyphenation, spacing, and spelling errors that are outside the scope of the dictionary. My other question is regarding capture groups.  While capture groups seem to work OK in the Find/Change panel, I've run into problems using them in scripts.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong.  Any suggestions welcome.

Hello, we are facing always the same issue when trying to run the Acrobat Reader DC: We have a montly subcription for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. But when opening a pdf, it is opened with the reader and tells me I have to subscribe to Acrobat Reader DC in order use the extra features. Then it guides me to the subscription only until I click on any of the options, it will tell me "you already have a subcription". Well, then I am stuck as the reader does not realize that and thus I cannot use any Pro features. By chance we manage to open it "in the right way" after a while wasting 10-20min. We see no clear logic how to get the Pro version running. Whats the issue here?

Hi guys. I'm trying to change my plan from the 19.99/month Acrobat Pro to the 12.99/month Acrobat Standard plan, but whenever I hit the "agree and subscribe" button it has a pop-up that says "Sorry, we could not change your plan. Please retry." and won't let me change my plan. This is stressing me out a lot and I would really appreciate any help I could get. Thanks a ton.

Desparate for help here! Last April I formatted an external drive to use as a scratch disk for Photoshop. Two days later I opened my Catalog in Lightroom to work on some photos. I navigated to the photo but, when I went to go from Library to Develop I received a message saying the photo couldn't be found. I then noticed "?" by all my photos! Even though my Catalog with all my thumbnails, virtual copies, previews, etc.was totally accessible, my originals were gone. I realized I had inadvertently formatted my drive with all my photos on it!!! I was devastated but, at least I still had an intact Catalog of everything. Then Lightroom had a new update and luckily I took Adobe's recommendation and had it create a zip file of the existing catalog prior to update. I moved the zip file to a safe location and updated the Catalog. When I went to open the Catalog after the update there were no thumbnails, virtual copies, previews..... all had disappeared with the update. I assumed that i

I never want to have my machine save to the cloud. I have small-town sucky internet and saving to the cloud makes that significantly worse.  But I don't see a way to get it to default to not saving to the web. I mean there is a button to not ever be asked again but the last time I tried that on an Adobe product it took that to mean that it should ignore the fact that I asked for it to be save locally that time (and every other time) and in addition to never asking again it should just save it to the cloud.  I see a way to set this in Photoshop, but do not in Illustrator. I'd really like to not be constantly have Adobe apps trying to get me to save to the Cloud.Note - Adobe also seems to reset to defaulting to the cloud everytime I update my programs.Update to Photoshop - You must have also wanted to start saving to the web. WTF Adobe? What is with that? Trust that if your customers don't want to use that feature they might have a reason. The last time it did that I w

I was playing around with my settings, just trying to figure out which setting did what, and now I'm stuck with my navigation panel behind my work! As a job seeker, I can't afford to have a mistake like that on my portfolio - it won't go back to normal, and I certainly can't publish it like that. I believe I am using the Rose template. PLEASE HELP! I don't want to start over on Wix or Weebly, but I may have to!

I have two computers activated on my CC account - this can be seen in my account settings. But Acrobat Pro thinks I have about 10 activated! This is a clearly an error but it means I cannot use it - something that is essential to my work flow. Being unable to access it is costing me money and damaging my reputation with my clients. Why don't Adobe have any useful support? All I want is to speak to a REAL person. All I want is for Adobe products to work.Considering I pay almost £50 a month (probably for the rest of my career) I don't think that is to much to ask.

Since the update when I hold the option key on any tool I no longer get the alternate function (i.e. zoom out on the zoom tool, open select on pen tool) but a camera tool. This is infuriating and I can't see where to change it back in preferences or keybaord shortcuts, can anyone help?

Hi - and thanks for any help in advance. I am editing four videos with much of the same content and when exporting, two of them come up with the warning  along the lines of "Offline content will be replaced with proxies". When I open the project, no offline content is noted. When I pre-render the sequences, all the lines above are happy green. When I go to export a couple of clips then turn yellow in that same line but in the metadata they show as online. I see no issues with the renders. I don't make proxies upon import and don't have a file for them. New computer, never set that up. I think I am OK with the renders but don't want to have an issue when presenting or delivering. Help, please.   MacBook Pro, 48GB, Sequoia 15.6.1, PPro and Media Encoder 25.5, clips are GH7 in .mov and Black Magic recording in HQ422. All 4K being output to 1080P.

Hi, I cannot install InDesign in my Lenovo laptop (Snapdragon). Creative Cloud says it is not compatible. Then I try to install it on my former laptop, which I used to work on InDesign in the past, and I cannot install it neither because it has 4Go RAM only (but I did have InDesign on this laptop). Can anyone help me to find:- A compatible version for a Lenovo with Snapdragon- AND/OR a compatible version for 4Go RAM (CS6 or other) I am paying for it so I need to use it. Thank you in advance!

Hello, Adobe Team. I am reporting a critical issue that prevents any Photoshop script from executing command-line processes on macOS using the app.system() command. This issue started recently after a long period of working perfectly. Environment: * Photoshop Version: [FILL IN YOUR VERSION, e.g., 25.9.1] * macOS Version: [FILL IN YOUR VERSION, e.g., Sonoma 14.5] Steps to Reproduce: 1. On a Mac with a recent macOS update, open Photoshop. 2. Run any script that contains the app.system() command to call a system utility (e.g., app.system('curl --version')). Expected Behavior: The script should execute the command and return the expected result. Actual Behavior: The script fails. In my case, a plugin that depends on curl returns a "Curl Not Found" error, even though curl is installed and works. A minimal test script using app.system() also fails. Diagnostics and Tests Performed: After extensive troubleshooting, we have confirmed the following: * The issue occurs on two different Mac machin

I'm updating my class pdfs to comply with my university's accessibility policy. Most of the pdfs are sheet music. When I run an accessibility check I get a lot of errors under "Tagged Content." The elements are always little bits of musical notation that Acrobat flags as text or paths. I can access the elements in the Content panel but not the Tags panel. If I ctrl-click to edit properties everything is grayed out except for under the Color Tab. Any thoughts why I'm unable to edit properties? I've been able to pass the accessibility check by selecting all the elements and labeling them as artifacts, so I guess I don't really need to be able to access the Object Properties fields. But it's driving me crazy! Appreciate any suggestions. Acrobat Pro 2020 2020.005.30791Mac Sonoma 14.7.1

It seems my Creative Cloud auto updated to include Premiere 2023 last night. Now if I open a project I was working on yesterday in 2022, the playback on the timeline, even rendered clips appear to be in slow motion even playing at a lower resolution.I changed nothing.Tried a new, basic project with some small JPGs as footage, same thing. So it's not related to one project. It's not the specs of my machine, nothing changed. I have a fast ProArt Studiobook. Is there anyway to get the playback to normal so 1 second doesn't equal 1.5 or 2 seconds of time? If I hold up a stopwatch I can confirm it is indeed this slow.Stumped. Thanks.

I can't log into my subscription even after I say restore purchase. Is there no app support. This is absolutely ridiculous. I paid for an app that I can't restore. I did the update & loged out and back in but still can't restore purchase.

Today I saw that Photoshop was no longer installed on my Mac (M1 Pro) laptop running Ventura 13.4.  I had to reinstall and all my previous Settings such as Workspaces, etc. were all missing.  All other Adobe Software that I had previously installed was still installed.  Why did was Photoshop automatically uninstalled without receiving any prior notification from Adobe.  This is super FRUSTRATING !!!
