Is there a way to determine if an action is currently being recorded? The most obvious way is to try playing a known action or run menu items that are usually locked during recording (for example, duplicate a command, delete a command, etc.). If an error occurs, then recording is in progress. However, in this case, a system dialogue appears that cannot be suppressed by try... catch or DialogModes.NO 😞

For the last couple of months, Lightroom is crashing 'out of the blue'.  I'll be working in develop mode, and suddenly Lightroom goes away, leaving no warnings or information.  When I restart Lightroom, it starts in the same place as when it was last properly shut down.  My work on the images is still intact, but I must go to the library module, find the folder I was working on when Lightroom crashed, find the image I was working on, and proceed with my work.  I have updated all the drivers I can find.  I am mystified why the program is crashing.  I thought about uninstalling Lightroom and reinstalling it, but I'm not sure what happens to all my work and catalog if I were to do that.  Could you please suggest some troubleshooting steps I might take?  System info is below.  Thank you.Don Lightroom Classic version: 14.4 [ 202506051112-5918896a ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionV

I have a serial number and used it on my curent laptop to activate adobe pro. It downloaded but did not complete or activate because my laptop has issues - it doesn't have the capacity. So i want to stop using my old laptop and erase the serial number there, I have a new laptop and want to transder the adobe but  it say "already activated". Please help me register my product on my new laptop

I recently switched to a different AdobeID and all my actions disappeared. Is there a way to keep them with the new ID? Do I need to log into the old ID and export them? If so is there a way to export them all at once rather than one at a time? I have 160+ of them. I have to say that managing this number of actions in Acrobat has been a real PITA. Imagine having to create 160+ actions and manually move them one at a time into the order that you want them by clicking a button over and over and over...

The problem is back.In build 23.6.20320.0 the scroll bars disappear. My mac is set to show allways. Acrobat is set to never. The only way to show scroll bars is to launch Acrobat switch to Mac settings disable scroll bars allways and turn on again. Now the scroll bars appears in Acrobat. After a restart of Acrobat the scroll bars are disabled again.

How to turn off the animated tips that popup everytime you select a tool? Seems to be an old "feature" and rather often unwanted for many years now in various apps. This regards Photoshop 22.3.00, and they still won´t go away as some have said.

I've been creating a form (converted from word), and for some reason every single form component is behaving as a general text field, even when the Properties > Field Type has been accurately adjusted to accomodate different data types (e.g. signature, date). When I save, export, or preview, I can still only get free text in each field. I'm in the new 23 update.

Was heisst das genau? Was muss installiert werden.

Hi! I'm a new contributor and I'm still trying to understand the intellectual property refusal policy. From what I’ve read, buildings older than 150 years typically aren’t subject to IP laws. I uploaded several images of old churches—some were accepted, while others weren’t, even though they’re from the same era.Could you please clarify what’s wrong with this particular cathedral image and why it was rejected due to IP concerns? Thanks so much!

Hello! I want to sign a document but the "Sign" button does not work. Does anyone have an idea? Please se the attachement.

Previously when using photoshop I could click anywhere using the text tool and it would freely type from wherever I had clicked.  Now it just automatically draws a giant bounding box for the text.  How do I disable this?

I've been traveling the last 4 days and taking a lot of pictures on my iPhone 16 Pro. Each night I've checked that Lightroom mobile (iPhone version 10.4.2) says everything was backed up and synced before I deleted the day's photos so I can free up space. Tonight after going through this process I saw that Lightroom was using 50GB on iPhone storage for local copies. Everything I saw online said the only way to free up the space was to delete the app and reinstall. After doing so and syncing again, I am missing almost every single photo from my trip. I looked on Lightroom for Web and it says there are 588 photos with syncing issues. Am I completely screwed and have I lost all the pictures from my trip?

Hi, There are some car noise and notification sounds recorded and it's overlapped with the vocal. How can I remove them in Adobe Audition? Also, is there any AI tool I can use to restore missing vocals? I have recorded the sound using Riverside and the vocal sounds so glitchy when it's overlapped with other people. It will be really helpful to get some advice to enhance sound quality in general for the podcast! Thanks,

Hi all, I have been assigned this project to complete, but I'm unsure how to recreate it. There might be a plugin for this, which I'm sure was used. File attached.Help ASAP Anthony

Hello, this is a little hard to explain so I will do my best. I am running PS CC 2018 on Windows 7.When I select a layer mode (e.g. multiply, overlay), the layer mode box stays selected, so when I use certain buttons they won't work. I need to press Enter to 'confirm' and de-select the layer mode box. It's a small issue but it really affects my work flow, is there any way to stop this from happening?

Hi Recently when I am editing a vector smart from Photoshop, it opens in Illustrator. When i update the object it is applying registration/crop marks. Why is this happening all of a sudden and how can I change this? As it is also moving the placement of the artwork and not updating it true to size. It is posing a continual problem for me. Also it never used to happen so not sure if its an update or if i have a setting on somewhere that os incorrect? Thanks

I opened Bridge today and it had automatically updated to 2024. When it asked me to imprort previous settings, I said yes, but my keywords did not import. Are my keywords totally gone because of the automatic update? Why did they not import over when I said yes?

Finally trying my hand at a contact form - https://pitchlab.net/contact/  before I dive into server side I need to make sure it works properly and there are two issues- minor but annoying: first issue is the textarea for "Message" is behaving like an input in that it is limiting the width you can type.. a text area should allow you to type all the way across.. and finally- the form div wont center - I used a parent container flexbox for the columns and a div wrapping the  form and it wont center..   my parent:.contact_flex_container {width:100%;height:100%;display: flex;justify-content:center;align-items: center;padding-top: 10vh;} my form div: .form_container{justify-content: center;} any help would be appreciated!

Photoshop v26.9.0 on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6 Under regular conditions, when the brush tool (B) is active, pressing 1 on the keyboard sets the brush opacity to 10%, and pressing shift-1 sets the brush flow to 10%.Once you click the "Enable airbrush-style build-up effects" button, these keyboard shortcuts switch so shift-1 affects the opacity and 1 affects the flow. Brush Tool Settings Troubleshooting I was experiencing this issue previously so uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop without any of my previous settings, and it was only when configuring my brush settings again that I discovered this as the cause of the issue. Incredibly frustrating, please fix!

Hello,I've enrolled on the Graphics Design Certificate by Adobe on the Coursera platform, but I have issues signing up for the 4 month free trial of Creative Cloud now when I've gotten to the Graphics Design course that requires Illustrator. I reached out to Coursera but they told me to reach out to Adobe instead, so here I am. When clicking on the link on Coursera I get directed to an Adobe site where I can sign up for the free trial. When I then sign in with my existing account, it changes from 4 months to 7 days. So I create a new email just to create a new account on Adobe, since it says I can only use this with new accounts. Then it works, until I change payment country from the pre-selected US to my own country (Sweden), then it goes from the 4 months to the 7 days again. It is quite frustrating since I've had this issue when I tried the other courses in the course package: Issues with longer free trial on Adobe Express and same with Adobe Photoshop. I managed to get th
