Solved

Hi everyone,I’m using Adobe Acrobat and trying to copy text from a PDF document, but I’m facing an issue where the formatting gets completely messed up after pasting.Instead of clean paragraphs, the text comes out with random line breaks and spacing issues, which makes it hard to use for editing or documentation.I’ve already tried:Using “Copy with formatting” Opening the file in different view modes Restarting AcrobatBut the issue still continues. Is this a known limitation in Acrobat, or am I missing a setting that controls text extraction properly?Would appreciate any help or workaround. Thanks!

I went to double check my auto save and realizerd that the “General” tab is completely missing from the preferences menu. I reset my preferences file and it’s still gone. I can’t find any reference to it moving.

This is not really a question, but an answer. My answer, anyway. (Dammit - Had an even longer explanation of all this but Adobe wiped it all out when I went to “edit” it. Grrrr. So here goes a shorter statement...) When exporting using Media Encoder video looks washed out. When NOT using Media Encoder, video looks the same (as what you see in your Program Monitor.) This problem IS real. It’s subtle but clear and often UNACCEPTABLE. And there is no “fix”. It is very apparent when using QT for playback, and, more critically, for me, as videos show/play on Vimeo. I had for a time applied a Gamma Correction LUT on export to restore some of the contrast which had been lost (adding it under EFFECTS in the export settings.) I didn't like it, but it seemed to fix the problem. But what was it doing to everything else? I don’t know, but it probably wasn't good. I stopped using it over time, thinking, I guess, “Adobe must have fixed this problem by now.” But no...) After many hours / days / month

My question is: why isn’t Firefly working consistently?I’ve been working with a client who creates animated children’s content—something in a Pixar-style. During a recent session (around 11am to 5:30pm UK time), we followed our usual workflow: creating a start and end image, then generating short video clips to link them together. This was our second session this week and roughly our sixth overall. I currently pay £28.99 per month for 7,000 credits, and across the last two sessions we’ve used around 8,000 out of 11,000 purchased credits.Previously, my client was comfortable spending around 400 credits for an 8-second video, even before the free trial period. While there was a learning curve, we were getting solid results. However, since the free trial, Firefly has become increasingly unreliable—frequent breakdowns, inconsistent output, and noticeably poorer quality. It’s now worse than ever. For example, we might successfully generate two or three decent 5-second videos using the Firefly

I just updated my Mac OS to ventura, opened photoshop and tried to keep my workflow... but when I try to Save for web an error message appears "Could not complete this operation. A write permissions error has ocurred". I already reset photoshop preferences, increased memory usage on photoshop preferences, restarted my mac and looked at community threads, but I do not use or have installed Dropbox. I also tried to Save for web on my google drive, same error.

When printing to the PDF driver this error happens and the print is not completed.  %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%XB9A2A82D not found, using Courier.%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%Stack:[85 94 94 39 93 47 63 46 86 47 39 0](              )0.0[]10.0111.0false%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. Hello, in short, what it says on the title: InDesign 2025/2026 freezes (ends up as “not responding” in the Task manager) when interacting with the Paragraph Panel or with other, simple interactions; there are also multiple CEP HTML Engine instances that are generated, and there might be a possible file corruption, though I couldn’t verify that. I’m trying to generate an image. It’s a photo of a conference room, and i asked Firefly to add a logo image, also sent, to the wall. I keep asking it to move the logo up and to the left, but Firefly keeps giving me the same exact photo without making any changes and i keep wasting my credits.

When I try to set the FIPS Mode in Configuration as below:<Listener className="org.apache.catalina.core.AprLifecycleListener" SSLEngine="on" FIPSMode="on"/> I’m getting error in the coldfusion-error.log: “Failed to enter FIPS mode” and unable to login to CF Admin page. How can I fix this error with enabling the FIPS mode? Thanks!

While I like using Firefly to help create images, the only problem I have with it is Firefly changing the DPI of my images to 72 DPI, which causes loss of detail in the final image.  I primarily use Firefly to change color of apparel for our product images, mainly camo color options using a camo pattern image as my secondary image to the main reference image.  My images are set to 300 DPI but the output of the Firefly image is 72 DPI which casues loss of detail and aliasing in the final image.  If I’m going to pay to use it, I want to be able to set whatever final image sizing I want.  Using the Firefly AI models is rather disappointing at 1k or 2k final output so I have to use Gemini 3.1 so I can get a 4k output but at a loss of resolution.  Give us the option to set the output DPI to make this more useable.

I’m facing an issue that I’ve been trying to solve for the past two weeks. My computer is compatible with Photoshop 2022, but when I try to install Photoshop through Adobe Creative Cloud, it tells me that the current version is not compatible with my system. The problem is that I cannot find the option to install older versions within Creative Cloud.I’ve searched for solutions and read many articles, but none of them worked.I’m looking for a real solution to this issue, or a way to download a compatible version of Photoshop. If possible, I would appreciate a direct download link for Photoshop 2022.

Preference/Setting; Media > Default Media Scaling > Scale to Frame Size doesn't seem to work anymore starting version 25.Set to Frame size has become Fit to Frame; which is fine. But Scale to Frame Size just does the same as 'None'.It works as expected when using the fly out menu in the timeline btw.My suggestion would be to remove it altogether... 😉 'Fit to Frame' is always better in my opinion...

Recently, I switched from an RTX 3090 to an RTX 5080, mainly because of 10-bit support, as I work with this kind of footage on a daily basis. After installing the card, I did a test render and found that render times were 6–7 times slower than on the 3090, which was really weird. I tried everything I could think of to fix it, and I even formatted the C drive, but nothing helped. In general, Premiere Pro (26.0.2) uses only about 5% of the encoding capacity, while an older version, such as 25.2, uses about 11–12%. I also tested HandBrake, and there the GPU was being used to its full potential. The same raw clip took about an hour to render in Premiere, while HandBrake finished it in 7 minutes. Timeline performance is also significantly better on the 5080 than on the 3090, and I pretty much no longer need proxies. However, when it comes to final rendering, my iGPU can now render faster than the 5080. Do you have any idea why that might be?Specs:CPU: i9 13900KRAM:128GB DDR4 3600 MHzGPU: RT

Hi I tried the free version last month and cancelled the subscription a few days later. I received an email saying that sorry to see you go. There has been an unsuccessful attempt to charge my card. Please cancel immediately.

Win 11 64Gb Ram, Nvidia Studio Driver 572.83. The update to AE went ok, but I am getting incredible strained lag when I use the general top drop down menus - especially if you navigate back and forward. Even in AE Safe mode and Software only. Looking at Task Manager it briefly flickers the word 'efficiency' when it freezes but not sure if thats anything. Anyone else notice this. May have to go back to an older build of AE.   Your comment has been branched into a new post by mod.

Since Adobe saw fit to lock the other informational thread, I'll post here instead.  It is unacceptable to pay thousands of dollars for software only to find out that the company refuses to support it on newer operating systems and instead forces you into a perpetual annual payment subscription model. CS6 works perfectly fine on Windows 11 so long as you install only the components that do not include the PxHIpa64.sys driver as follows... --------------------------------------------------Component installs PxHlpa64.sys--------------------------------------------------Adobe Flash Professional CS6 noAIR for Apple iOS support (FP) noAdobe After Effects CS6 noAdobe Audition CS6 yesAdobe Encore CS6 no (conditional on deselecting the SonicWrappers_ph component)Adobe Illustrator CS6 noAdobe Illustrator CS6 (64-bit) noAdobe Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) noAdobe Photoshop CS6 noAdobe Prelude CS6 noAdobe Premiere Pro CS6 noAdobe SpeedGrade CS6 no--------------------------------

After the last set of Acrobat updates, I cannot edit headers & footers. I can add them to a document, but even if I try to edit them immediately after they are added, I get the message "Header & footers cannot be detected." Any solution? It is a simple problem as I have described it. The files are created with AutoCAD, MathCAD, spreadsheets, Woodworks, etc. It just cropped up on 01/26.  I can delete the headers/footers and re-add them. But, it is a pain & the software should work.

I want to know the exact problem. This post has been moved to the bulletin firefly board by a moderator.

I want to move my catalogues and images from PSE 10 on a Windows 10 PC to PSE 2025 on a Mac Mini. I’ve succeeded in backing up a small catalogue of 650 images to a destination on the Mac over my home network, but when I try to backup a larger catalogue of 10,000 images, PSE 10 freezes when 34% of the way through estimating the size of the backup. I’ve “optimised” and “repaired” the catalogue, but it freezes at the same point every time.I’ve tried writing the tags to the image files and then breaking the catalogue into several smaller ones, but PSE 10 fails to transfer a large percentage of the tags to the new catalogue.I wondered whether I have to install the PSE 2026 free trial to upgrade the PSE 10 on my PC first. I disconnected my PC from the outside world a year ago, so I downloaded the Windows file to my Mac and then moved it to the PC. Unfortunately, the file needs access to the Internet to download the program, and I don’t remember what I did to disconnect it.How can I get PSE 1

Upgrading from PE Organizer 21.0 to 25.0 on Windows 11: Should the “My Catalog” be referencing the same “Catalog”?With my upgrade PEO 21 references “My Catalog 1 1”and PEO 25 references “My Catalog 1 1 1”.Attached are copies of both versions of “System info…”, My Catalog Properties” ,screen shots of “My Folders” file structure and Windows Version. Also, the number of “Items” (Files) “Size of disk” are different. Finally, why does the “System info…” reference Windows 10 when it is running on Windows 11Pro?Thank you as always!
