Please let the default Save-As/Export location be the folder of the document we are currently saving/exporting. Let's say I open an existing photoshop file from a folder called "House," and I want to save it as a new version.  I go to "save-as" and expect the default save location to be "House," as is the case with most software.  However, instead, the default folder photoshop opens is whatever folder I had saved the last file I saved-as.  The last random file I happened to save-as, in most cases, is COMPLETELY unrelated to the file I am currently trying to save.  This is not a logical or helpful default file path.   It would only be helpful if I had a folder full of all my saved-as files (regardless of subject matter/project) and a folder with all my original versions, (regardless of subject/project).   Because most applications save-as to the location of the original copy by default, in Photoshop, I frequently hit save without realizing it

iPhoneでHEVCで撮影した素材をPremirer Pro2025で”色感”をできるだけ損なわずにRec.709で書き出す方法をアドバイスいただきたいです。色空間について非常に不勉強な初心者です。宜しくお願い致します。状況：・素材はHEVC・実は以前にLumafusionで編集済み（非常に多カット）・YouTube等に対応するようRec.709で書き出すと”全体が非常に薄ら白い”映像になる”やりたいこと：できる限り”色の演出”をKeepしながらPremirer Proで再構築したい。①_一旦Rec.709に書き出した素材をPremirerに読み込みRec.709の色空間で作業する。②_HEVCのままPremirerに読み込み、Rec.709の色空間で全てのカットの作業をする。どちらがいいのでしょうか？また、HEVC空間で編集作業をし、Rec.709で書き出すと”本来Rec.709的にセーフ”のカットも一括処理で圧縮（？）の影響を受けてしまうのでしょうか？

Ive just got the new version, as I was away from my computer for a while.  I importet a bunch of Tiffs as well as some NEFs from my SD card. In both cases LrC doesnt create the previews, the sqaures in the gallery just stay grey. If I switch over to the dev module the image shows, and i believe it also renders a preview. The preview shows also then in gallery, but only for 3 images at a time, if i click a fouth one, the first one turns grey. Very weird.  Also if I try to force new previews, the progress bar just wont move and nothing happens.  Old previews are fine. I've also tried deleting the preview file, but didnt change anything. Setup and everything is the same.  Running on a MBP 2018 on 16GB Ram and Sonoma. Is maybe that the problem? Is Sonoma not supported anymore? If so can I revert back to an older LrC version? Help, please?

Hello I recently formatted my pc. It does not have multicore that supports vector extension for the newest indesign but I previously had Indesign installed. Probably an older version. Is it possible to get the installation for indesign v19?  Is there a link?  Thank you in advance.

For some reason, importing the first folder for the new year, which should be showing in library inside the folder for 2026, came in showing the 'originals' folder outside on its own and not properly nested. How can I fix this?

I am running a Windows 10 PC with a 2TB SDD, with 400GB+ of free space on it.  I had a problem with my catalog a week ago, and Sameer K helped me get the catalog open, resetting my preferences.  Since then, however, Lightroom is exceedingly slow. When I open an image from the filmstrip using loupe view, it can take up to 15 seconds to open it.  The problem is worse tryimg to enlarge to a 100% view; the average time takes between 18-26 seconds.  Both these issues are new; it used to take just a few seconds to open and enlarge images when I was using my previous catalog. I have cleared my cache, but both problems existed before I did this, and still exist afterwards.  I have my cache set to 20GB.   Can anyone suggest any remedies to speed up the program?   Paul Lebras

I've been using Command + drag to resize files placed on my InDesign pages for years, and suddenly, for no reason, I can no longer do that. Holding Command and dragging the mouse only resizes the frame, not the content inside the frame with it. I'm now having to go back to clicking between the Selection tool and Direct Selection tool to resize things accordingly. Why did this feature suddenly stop working? I've restarted InDesign twice, tried holding Command+Option+Shift+Control when relaunching it, and tried to change settings but nothing has worked. I haven't changed anything. No updates to the computer or the program, so there's no reason this should just suddenly stop being functional.

I have tried to install Adobe Reader, and it says it in installed, however when I search for the programme it isn't there - I have checked my downloads, and serach in the file... but I get the message that I need to download it from the store, which I try to do again - and again it shows as successful installation, but yet isn't on my laptop.  I am going around in circles! Has anyone else has this issue? It's a brand new HP Omnibook with Windows 11 and a SnapDragon processor. I need to be able to edit, sign  and lock documents (in designated boxes) for work, which I could previously do with Adobe reader, but now I'm struggling! Any ideas are very welcome.

I am trying to understand how adobe stock works. It seems like it is subscription-based. However, I wonder if once a photo is purchased, it is purchased, we do not have to pay continuously?

I have an InDesign file that the pages are messed up on pages 50-142. The Headers and Subheaders aren't in order and I've tried several ways to fix it, but can't figure it out. The text thread jumps from page 49 to page 87 and I need the pages to be continous with the header and subheader numberings. 

Hello,The question I have is, if a document is deleted in Adobe cloud, can adobe admins access that document on the back end? 

Adobe keeps trying to charge my school account. Its trying to charge me for the creative cloud provided by my school. I'm wondering if its because I'm a recent grad, which makes me also wonder why they just assume I want to pay for their overpriced garbage plan. I don't see any option to close my account. 0 options for support. 0 options to cancel plans. 0 options to remove payment option. 0 options to reach out to admin support. Adobe is the most predatory scum company I have ever encountered. 

When I install Adobe Acrobat (64bit) version 25.001.20997 a software scan shows that it also installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 24.0.0.1. Anybody know why this happens and how to fix it so it only shows Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) ? 

I've struggled with the dreaded Mac QT gamma compensation issue in the past, but for some reason, I'm back at struggling with it. I've tried everything I can and I'm trying to narrow down the issue as well as I can. So essentially the issue is that the colors look washed out after exporting the video out of Premiere, depending on what I view the video with. What I did was take a video, drop it in to Premiere, in to a new sequence, and export it out. No changes done to the file in Premiere. In Quicktime, the original file looks colorful and contrasty, but the exported file looks a bit washed out. In VLC, they look exactly the same. I dropped them in to Google Drive, and they look exactly the same there too. Dropping the newly exported file in to Premiere, on to the same timeline, it looks just like the original. I decided to try and change the file names in Drive and download them back on to my computer. Once again, the original looks good but the exported looks washed out. Se

Hello,I am an artist and I want to print my paintings on Fine Art paper (here, Canson Etching Rag). However, I am having trouble using the ICC profile for this paper in Photoshop 2026 on Windows 11 Pro. (my printer: Canon PIXMA Pro-200).I downloaded and installed the official ICC profile for the paper. I have copied the ICC file to C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color and restarted Photoshop. It works on Canon software, but it does not appear in Photoshop — neither in “Assign Profile,” “Convert to Profile,” nor in the proof setup.I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, but the profile still does not appear.I want to be able to soft proof and adjust my files in Photoshop before printing on Fine Art paper.Is there a solution or workaround to make Photoshop recognize this ICC profile on Windows 11?Thank you very much for your help.

Why do I have watermarks appearing on images placed from Adobe libraries, even if they are licensed?  

Hi,In my code, I use AttributeBossList::IntersectionContainsDifferences() to locate runs of text of a particular set of attributes. But this function sometimes "fails" when looking for specific font sizes, such as 14.2pt or 18.53pt, for example. I am assuming that, internally, it is looking for an exact match in fixed units, and the conversion used by the SDK seems to differ ever so slightly, depending if one's UI is in points or millimeters, for example.Short of re-writing my own version of AttributeBossList::IntersectionContainsDifferences(), to be able to handle borderline cases, does anyone have any suggestion as to how to loosen the matching criteria used by the SDK ?Or should I use AttributeBossList::ConvertAttributeList() on both sets of attributes, and then do the comparison myself ?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Very best regards,Olivier
