Hi everyone, first post here.   I've spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to open HEIC files in CS6.   I installed the 2 Microsoft extensions everyone has mentioned but it still wouldn't work.   Then I searched all of the threads where people said the extensions didn't work but could find no solution there, either.   Windows 10 64 bit pro machine.   Up to date.Thx, Chris

An unintended consequence of adding password to the PDF Form is, I cannot merge data fields to export to Excel. Does anyone have a solution around this? I am expecting 1,000 applications. I need the information to export to Excel, which means I have to open each document and remove the password. I cannot send this form out without a password because these people would alter EVERY single field on the form to give me what "they want me to have" instead of answer the questions we have asked them.Any Ideas? BTW the form is already live.

Hi Community,I used the spiral tool in combination with the control key.I did something wrong I guess! Now all I get when using the spiral tool, is a skimpy arc.I want to be able to reset this tool so it behaves like in the beginning. Some site advised to trash illustrator preferences, but doing that made me lose all my workspaces, I worked so hard to create.I wonder if there is any way or button to reset a specific tool tofactory settings without having to trash my preferences?

When searching for the font Georgia Pro on Adobe using Creative Cloud, it provides a list of several dozen pages of fonts, none of which is Georgia Pro. How is this possible? I have tried “Georgia Pro”, Georgia Pro, even Georgia_pro and the results do not show. I have even clicked the suggested link to the font family Georgia Pro and it still will not show the results. I have installed Georgia Pro Light, but wanted the rest of the family. When I click the Install Family, it says that it’s done, but I still only see Georgia Pro Light and cannot access the rest of the font weights for Georgia Pro.Someone needs to look at the search feature on Creative Cloud. This seems like an obvious error.

I just updated both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to the latest versions. After the update, the ‘edit in Photoshop’ option is greyed out.It worked before the update, as I used the feature just before updating, and found out that I hadn’t updated Photoshop and henceforth couldn’t use Generative fill.Updated both Lightroom Classic, Photoshop and Camera Raw, and now the ‘edit in Photoshop’ is greyed out.Does anyone have a solution to this. The files are all stored locally on my PC, and have not been moved during all this When Lightroom finished updating, I noticed that I was going from Lightroom 12 to Lightroom 13, and there was a promt to transfer my catalog to the new version. I did this and then opened Lightroom, and now the edit in Photoshop command is greyed out and not working

I have tried several times in the last couple of months to install and run Photoshop 2026.  I have completely uninstalled it each time before trying again.  I did find and delete an old folder from Photoshop 2021 in C:\[User]\AppData/Roaming, and then rebooted my computer.  Still no luck.Is there a log I can upload that would identify what the issue is?By the way, Windows 11 is current on updates. Thanks for any advice.

Some scripts can be undone with a single click before execution. But for others, you have to roll back step by step. Some scripts perform multiple operations, making it cumbersome to revert to the state before execution. Is there a way to undo these multi-step scripts with one click, returning them to their origina

Help me fix this issue:Whenever I share a pdf document via whatsapp, the file name automatically changes from, for example, Zachary.pdf to DOC-20230323-WA001 on the receiving end. Same case when I receive a named document. The issue appeared recently after app update.

Hi, I clicked on to do the seven day trial for Adobe Scan and I canceled it before the end of seven days. I just got my bill from Apple and I’m being charged for two subscriptions one for 19.99a month and one for 9.99 a month. When I go into my Apple subscriptions, it shows that I canceled a 9.99 a month sub subscription.  There is no 19.99 subscription showing. So I’m being charged about $30 and I don’t know for what. I’m very upset right now.

¿Me pueden ayudar? No se porque no me deja eliminar las pausas, tengo la ultima version de premier pro y tambien la beta. Adjunto imagen

I'm currently using version 20.4, which has the feature, and I thought that simply dragging a PDF would activate the feature, but nothing happens when I drag it. Do I need to activate it separately? Could it be that it doesn't work because it's the Korean version?

I had an OS crash and all my apps had to be reinstalled.  Now when trying to import photos I am not getting the option to import to a collection like I used to.  It’s a different screen layout.  See screenshot.  Anyone know what happened to that option?  It used to show up on the righmost panel of the screen, with an option to create a new collection if needed.  Thanks.

Greetings,I am an intermediate level user of illustrator, and am trying to explore creating custom texture stamps and brushes since having become familiar with some I purchased online. I have followed a few tutorials on how use image trace to create the editable black and white vector images, so i think I’m part way there, but upon exporting to PNG or TIFF they become un-editable when placing in a new file. I’m only interested in being able to change the colour fill.I feel like I am missing an important step and was hoping for assistance. I will break things down so you have an idea of what I would like, and where I am at now:I would like to create  color editable bitmap file such as the one here i purchased from True Grit Texture Supply Co. The color can be change be simply one step click and color fill of your option. I see at the top it says Black & White Bitmap PPI 1198. I want to create something just like that. Color adjustable bitmap file purchased from True Grit Texture Sup

So I found this simple script:https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/illustrator-cc-how-to-manually-resize-one-object-to-match-another/m-p/11057446#M173293//by Ray Craighead //Select 2 objects. Script will scale top object to match bottom object. function scaleTopObject( ){ var aDoc = app.activeDocument; var sel = aDoc.selection; var topObj = sel[0]; var botObj = sel[1]; topObj.width = botObj.width; topObj.height = botObj.height; } if (selection.length == 2) { scaleTopObject( ); } else alert ("Select 2 object. Top object will scale to match bottom object."); And that is great, but I'm wondering how to modify it, or if its even possible, to determine if the width or height of the bottom object is greater, then resize the top object using either the width or height, but scaled proportionately? Is this an over the top idea or possible using percentages? Thanks!

I am having a problem removing auto hyphenation in PSE2026.  I have encountered this problem before when I get a file from someone that was created in PS, but this file was 100% created by me in PSE2026.  I am using the Text in a shape tool and I can’t get it to stop hyphenating.  I have googled looking for a fix, but I only get answers related to Photoshop (not elements) and they refer me to a panel that doesn’t exist in PSE.  Any help will be appreciated.

Hey forum,Searched high and low for a solution for this - seems like Mac people had this problem but nothing in stone fixed. After using Premiere for a few minutes the mouse cursor will "stick" to a cursor. For example between switching the Arrow, Razor and Move tools the mouse cursor won't change.Image below shows what I mean, since it should be showing the razor instead of the default mouse icon. One thing that instantly fixes it for a minute is switching between workspaces - though it comes back very shortly. It's not a program crashing bug, but extremely infuriating since I keep messing up edits since I don't know what tool I'm using. What I've tried:-Resetting cache and prefs while booting Premiere.-Uninstalling and Reinstalling using the Adobe Uninstaller tool-Create new workspaces-Create new keyboard preferences-Disable Import WorkspacesUsing:-Windows 10 64 Bit-Premiere Pro CC 12.1 KentosAll the best.Example Pic:

I have just bought Lightroom Classic, and when I try to open a raw file in it, there is a modal dialog telling me that Lightroom will automatically sync my files with the cloud. The only option it gives me, is “ok” … but the thing is that I only want my images to be on my computer hard disk and no where else!I HATE having all your cloud solutions shoveled down my throat. I didn’t ask for a TB in your cloud, and I dont intent to use it at all, but I was never given the opportunity to say no thank you!Now I am not sure if I can use your product at all, without having you guys uploading my entire foto collection to your cloud? What the feck happened to good old concent here? Why isn’t this an opt-in possibility, or at least give us a chance to opt it out, for crying out loud? 😠

My hard drive died and so I am having to reinstal PSE9. I’ve got that installed but I’m having trouble getting ACR to work. PSE9 comes with ACR 6.1 but I need 6.3 or above (max 6.5). When I instal the ACR plug-in it is not being picked up by PSE - it is still showing as 6.1, even if I use the ACR 18.2 or 14.5 installer from Camera Raw plug-in installer. I’ve have reinstalling PSE but am still struggling.  It was working perfectly well before the crash so not sure what the issue is now. I don’t want to be converting all my files to DNG. Any tips out there for this?

When I select a text box, both of the following are correct:var sel = app.documents[0].selection; alert(sel); // [object TextFrame] alert(sel.length) // 1When my cursor is inside the text, I tried the code below and found both are [object TextFrame], but sel.length is invalid..It should be noted that sel is undefined. item = app.activeDocument.selection[0]; if (item.parent.textFrames[0].constructor.name == "TextFrame") { var sel = item.parent.textFrames[0]; } alert(sel);//[object TextFrame] alert(sel.length)//undefined?????

LightRoom Classic 15.2 build: 202602111402-ec4112e8Only this release has a fast memory leak in the graphics card memory (Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB).  It  uses up almost all the memory just exporting 8 files to Tif to be edited in PTGUI Pro that also uses graphics memory and crashes repeatedly until exiting LRC, and that fixes the problem. However it is not efficient to have to close LR every time I export files to either Photoshop or PTgui Pro.Lightroom Classic 15.2build: 202602111402-ec4112e8MS Win 11 Prov: 10.0.26200 Build 26200x-64 based PCASUS motherboard Proart z790-creator wifi96GB memoryGraphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GBC: drive has 495 GB free.Lightroom database and photo collection on 2 other drives has always run smoothly.Kind regards from Hans

...or a Mac script? Rather than open up every file and Export as........? Affinity 3 is out and free.

I have a vector path logo in a PSD file to be printed for t-shirts. When I “export paths to Illustrator” Photoshop creates an AI file, no problem. When I open the AI file, nothing is there, including nothing showing in the paths tab.I have done a fill on the path, made copies of the path & made sure I was on the right path, etc., everything I can think of to make the AI file anything other than completely blank, but with no luck.I have made a PDF, SVG, etc. for the printer, but he says he can’t use those now & needs an AI file. I don’t have Illustrator now to test, but nothing looks wrong in Photoshop & it was a ton of work & all other formats seem OK except AI, but at this point I’m desperate to get anything other than a completely blank AI file.
