The Sky Replacement tool on my Windows 11 (25H2) PC was working perfectly up until I update Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 three days ago.Selecting Sky Replacement in the Editor (Edit » Sky Replacement) is OK and all my skies appear.When I select a sky, I find all of the sliders and functions, except Brightness function perfectly.The Brightness slider can be moved to both extremes, but no change in Brightness materializes. I have performed a clean instal of Photoshop, without effect (Uninstalled PS with Revo Pro Uninstaller, and thereafter deleted every Adobe folder I could find).Even performed a clean reinstall of the Windows operating system.Finally, I restored my system, from a Macrium Reflect X to a state prior to the Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 update. Low and behold - the Brightness for Sky Replacement works.It looks like a Bug, to me.Appreciate any comments/adviceBrian 

I updated to PS v27.8 and it will not open, no matter how I try. I've restarted my desktop, tried opening directly, tried opening a file, tried opening through Creative Cloud, and I only get a Crash report to fill out. I did the upgrade a couple days ago (Sunday 6/21/2026), and haven’t been able to open Photoshop since. I REALLY need to be able to use it ASAP.

After the latest update, Photoshop (27.1 /win 11) started showing a very unpleasant bug.As soon as I open a PSD file, without doing anything (just by selecting a few layers), the fill content of several "fill layers" changes automatically.This happens with simple "Shape layers", rectangles.See my history state without doing anything elese but selecting a few layers in the freshly opened PSD:   For example, a layer that originally had a black fill suddenly has a gradient applied. In another layer with a gradient, the orientation gets flipped by 180 degrees.It may seem random, but I suspect the "shape layer fill" is automatically set according to the first selected layer in a row! In any case, it completely ruins the opened document. I can re‑set the layers, but the same thing happens again the next time I open it.   It’s extremely frustrating — basically, it makes the program unusable! I might try downgrading to a lower version to see if that helps. Please fix this serious issue ASAP.

Recent build 27.9.x seems to have completely broken resizing from four corners which I use all the time. It just moves the window now. Also, resize zoomed window also broken. Note that this is in non-Application Frame mode.

The symptoms include: Rapid flickering where UI elements and the canvas temporarily disappear and instantly reappear (no black or white flashes). When navigating menus (e.g., Preferences), the text briefly vanishes and comes back. While editing, the active photo disappears from the canvas and instantly reappears. The flickering happens extremely fast, rendering the application completely unusable for daily work. This issue is isolated to Photoshop and does not occur in other applications. Troubleshooting Steps Executed: Verified the monitor is connected directly to the NVIDIA GPU, bypassing the Intel iGPU. Forced High Performance GPU assignment for photoshop.exe via Windows 11 G

Is anybody else seeing this? I’m trying to report a bug but I cannot post it. In fact if I change the end of the URL when posting this from &type=question to &type=bug I get the same result. Windows: Brave, Firefox, ChromeMac: Safari

When I try to use the function “ Select > Subject” on v26, the software will select the object from the background on the image with out any issues.however the exact same function does not work on v27 and pop up a warning saying on subject can be found no matter using the AI function or the basic one to achieve the same goal.

I been trying to install my photoshop again after i had to reinstall my pc and windows and it keeps giving me a silly sign in and log out constant loop always. i tried to fix everything and enter the credential manager but i cannot get a permission for it and tried to search that too nothing works. 

I opened a closeup photo of someone with a line of text over it. I selected image, said “remove text, keep image the same” (which has worked many times before) and it replaced the entire image with a landscape, then it replaced it with an eagle. I used nano banana 2.5/3/3.1 on beta and normal versions latest updates. Not looking to use the remove tool, or the firefly tool either. Sometimes the image will be a mag cover and I need to remove text over the entire image to clean it up.  

I’m using web Version: 2026.19.1.0. Curves all of a sudden stopped working. Adjusting by points is completely unresponsive. Using the draw tool still works. Wanted to create a separate thread for this since I am using web but was unable to. 

I connected my Sony CFExpress card reader to my iPad M5 Pro USB-C port and bring up the Files app and copy the Sony images (RAW .AWF) files to my iPad local folder that Photoshop created “Default User”.I open PS for iOS and select Import, locate the file and select it for import and then I get the following error message:“Could not open “A7601008” because the file-format module cannot parse the file” ??I see thunbnails for the file so I know something is able to read the file, but apparently not PS?So to make sure there is not issue with my Sony CFExpress reader and/or files that I copied over to my iPAD M5 Pro, I open Affinity Photo 2 and did an import from there and the files imported just fine, no issues.  So this is clearly an Adobe problem for PS on iOS. Is there a solution?Seems odd that my much older software “Affinity Photo 2” can work with my Sony RAW files but PS for iOS can’t ?  Even more strange that on my Windows 11 PC Adobe PS works just fine with my Sony RAW files it’s O

Photoshop Version 25.11.00Windows 11 ProVersion 23H2OS build 22631.4037My library panel continuously resets to the front panel (not my library) and I keep running into a prompt to add libraries to my adobe apps, followed by a pop tutorial that doesn't obey the "skip" command. But my libraries are already defined as well as my workspace. It's hard to say what causes it or when, it just seems to happen often and randomly. Instead of showing the color palettes of "my library", it defaults to the previous screen showing all libraries and presents this popup for "add libraries". Attached is a screenshot of the panel that pops up. After clicking done, it goes into another 3 step popup that will not skip unless clicked 2x or more.This seems to be a bug, but is there a workaround? I’m in the middle of designing and retouching in Photoshop when, without any warning or the usual lagging/not responding issues, Photoshop suddenly closes and resets my settings.I’ve already enabled Auto Save and Recovery, but every time I experience this issue, Photoshop resets everything on its own. And honestly, it sucks. This has happened several times already, and it’s exhausting and incredibly disappointing.Adobe, you’ve been eating up so much of my memory, yet your software keeps doing this dirty. The customer service was rude, too, and didn’t even come close to providing the bare minimum of support.We’re paying this much for software, only to deal with bugs, lagging, crashes, and running out of memory? Oh my God.If it weren’t for my work, I would’ve left Adobe a long time ago.

Open ik het RAW scherm in Photoshop dan ziet de foto er anders uit. De kleurruimte (Adobe RGB 1998) en bit (16 bit) is in beide schermen hetzelfde. Ik krijg de indruk dat het probleem ontstaan is nadat ik als Nikon gebruiker Hasselblad files uit Hasselblad Phocus in RAW en Photoshop ben gaan uploaden. Hoe krijg ik dit opgelost?

Após salvar o PSD no qual eu estava trabalhando e fechar o Photoshop, meu computador simplesmente deu tela Azul e se desligou. Ao reiniciar e tentar arbir o PSD novamente, apareceu a seguinte mensagem (PRINT) e desde então não consigo de maneira alguma abrir novamente o PSD.

I've used the same FM workflow for years but for some reason when using the apply image function it's not working as it should. Instead of seeing a mono texture there is just a flat grey. If you look at the levels there are none just a single mid grey. When I change the blend mode on the texture layer to Linear Light it remains a flat mid grey in the main edit screen not the usual view.. I have attached some screen grabs. So in Apply Image  the lower colour layer is selected, colour space RGB, blending subtract, scale 2, offset 128.  Could this be a bug or borken preferences or has the Apply Image function changed? Photoshop 26.4.0, Mac OS 15.3.2,  Intel 8 Core i9, Radeon 5500M 4Gb
