I have a project to create a book, but the page numbers need to use Arabic-Indic numerals (١، ٢، ٣، ٤، ٥). I’ve looked for tutorials online, but I haven’t found anything that answers my question. :(

Hi, I do have some old files are using PageMaker 6.5. I try to use InDesign 2022 to open it, seems not working. May I know How to open it and save it as PDF

I am finally feeling comfortable with Lumetri Color workflow! Yay me! But now there’s a new Color Mode! For those who are practiced in both, can you point me to good tutorials that will help me migrate to the new workflow? Thanks.

When is it necessary to use Adobe Distiller in the creation of PDFs? I use the Mac OS (i.e. OS X). I export from inside the application Pages. The resulting PDFs look (for the most part) fine. Occasionally, there are apparent font substitutions when I view the exported document in Adobe Acrobat Pro. I've experimented with Distiller but never been successful. This is a typical message. Is Distiller worth bothering with?

Hi,    I am trying to write a complaint email but of course, no contact details in this regard, so here I am:   what on earth is going on with this new update of Adobe Acrobat Pro that normally it's supposed to be more user friendly - news flash, it's not - and appart from this, there is this new awful feature that blocks the app whenever I try to handle documents, the app blocks, I can't close, I can't do anything, it just freezes. The only thing that gets me out of there is task manager, and then starting over again.   I did this 3 times, making me losing around 10 minutes for an edit that normally, before this horrible update, it was taking me few seconds... Come on guys WAKE UP!

I can’t delete the note icons. I can get them to temporarily disappear but they always come back. They are a carryover from the file I copied so I could use the same styles and formatting. I saved it as an .idml file but that didn’t take care of the issue.

A few weeks or months ago, my Adobe Acrobat has been experiencing a decline in performance. Tasks like editing text, combining files, optimizing size - everything causes the application to completely freeze for several seconds, with the added suspense of it simply closing. Now I think I've reached my limit. I just opened the program, and it already froze while trying to load the list of recently opened files. I need to combine three PDF files into one, and it's going to take at least 10 times longer than it would with any other free program. There seems to be a serious issue with how Adobe Acrobat handles access to the hard drive and memory management. I perform incredible and complex tasks with Photoshop and Premiere, but when it comes to opening a PDF, it's simply a nightmare. Is anyone else experiencing this? *I'm using Windows 11 Pro 22H2, 16GB of RAM, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz, GTX 1660 Super graphics card. Adobe Acrobat version 2023

I have been using Adobe Version 2025.001.20756 and I am facing significant issues since the update.I only need to go in and update specific fields/texts, but since I have started using this version I am facing terrible issues.Once you right click & select - Edit a PDF, you will find that now the file has multiple boxes which you will need to remove. Earlier it was just go directly in the text box edit the text and save the pdf in less than a min.Now for the same work now it is taking enough time because you get multiple boxes which are just blank and you need to select borders of those boxes and hit delete and entire pdf is filled with all those boxes. So first you need to remove all those non-sense blank boxes and only then you are able to actually edit. And if you accidentally delete a box containing which has the text in it, then entire text boxes in the page shifts up which is just Horrible. In no way you could select all the text boxes at once and move those entire boxes ba

Hello all,I have been using and updating various forms of the same fillable PDF for over a few years now. It has numerous fillable forms that, in the past, I could quickly cycle through using tab and fill in with ease. However, in the last few days these PDFs have begun to be sluggish and lag when simply scrolling from 1 page to the next. I have disabled some of the enhanced security features as recommended in similar looking posts, this has not seemed to make much of a difference. If anyone has a fix or recommendation, please let me know. Thank you

After importing images into Lightroom Classic and performing edits, then selecting Edit in Photoshop and it opens, the images do not retain the LR edits on them and are back to the RAW appearance (No edits applied). I have Uninstalled/Installed both LR & PS with saving preferences and also fully uninstalled/installed without retaining preferences. I have tried Using GPU acceleration and auto. Nothing seems to work. I have gone into so many posts relating to this issue. Windows 11 is up to date. GPU drivers are up to date. LR & PS are up to date. I have a travel laptop that works like it should with this workflow and I set every single preference and catalog setting in LR & PS the exact same and still the same result. I have also created a new (testing) catalog to see if it's a catalog issue but no fix either. The only thing that seems to go with the image is any object removal I have done. No color grading, masking ect.

The issue persists already for several months. Unfortunately, did not notice when exactly started.  So we have Acrobat Pro, version 2022.003.20314 (64-bit), Windows 11. There are three issues: (1) After opening Acrobat (usually when you open a file, but sometimes when you just launch) in 15-20 sec the program freezes for about 10 sec. Then you can work normally and unless you open another pdf all is fine. (2) Almost always upon fully closing Acrobat task manager shows a process Acrobat.exe that is still running. This process takes 25-30% of CPU and remains forever unless you close it by End task. Sometimes, if you have opened and closed another instance of Acrobat without hanging the Acrobat.exe process, then a new background Acrobat.exe process appears. They all drain CPU eventually rising to 100%.(3) Adobe plug-in in Chrome and Edge is often not working. Either need to restart the PC or shutdown Acrobat.exe process numerous times.   Both (1) and (2)

Hi! The RAW files I've shot with my new Canon R5 Mark II don't open on the cloud-based Lightroom (my favorite lightroom app). I've already installed the newest MacOS Sequoia (15.3.1) and restarted my macbook and lightroom app. When I try to open a file I see the image attached under this message. I really hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance!

Hello all,All I did was add a text box comment to the document, now the comment pane shows up everytime I open it. I have attached the offending PDF.  At this point I will discontinue using comments, a bit annoying. I go to the Preferences in Acrobat, in the Commenting category. I then uncheck the "show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened", then hit the OK button and preferences closes. I then close the program, have restarted my computer, yet when I open a document with comments the comments pane shows back up and when I go back into preferences the box is checked again. I also did an uninstall and reinstall, but that did not help either. I have also tried the check "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" without success. Does anyone have any idea to resolve this or is this a bug that Adobe needs to fix, if so how do I submit this for processing...?

I'm working on a simple projectile motion system and I'm trying to calculate the trajectory between two points.I know the starting position (x1, y1) and the target position (x2, y2), but I don't know the launch angle or the initial velocity. The start and target positions can change every time, so I can't use fixed values. What is the best mathematical approach or algorithm to calculate the correct launch angle and speed so the projectile reaches the target accurately? If there are multiple solutions or common methods, I'd appreciate an explanation or an example.Thank you!

I have a file with a bunch of icons I've created and the file doesn't always appear in the recent list of items. Is there a way to make it always handy? Or is there a better way to save those icons that are frequently used? Thanks!

A long time customer of Adobe (photoshop 7). My subscription is only for Photoshop, until suddenly I had do download that app and pick a “new plan” which is twice what I have ever paid?  Anybody know what is going on besides the usual corporate greed?

i tried to cancel too before the free trial expires but it wont show my plan TILL THE DAY AFTER where they are already trying to charge me! i find this dubious!

Hi there,Please could anyone tell me if there is a way to (or why we cannot) reorder the colours in the drop-down colour palette…?I have created several colour groups and swatches (lower down the list than shown in the image below), but there doesn’t seem any easy way to simply reorder it so the colours and groups I use most are on the top… It would be so much easier if I could just move my favourite / regular colours by clicking on the line and moving it up or down the list. This would seem an easy thing to implement, but no-one seems to know why the functionality is not already there.  What am I missing, and can anyone help?I note there is not even an “Adobe Indesign” category in the drop-down list for Feature Requests, so I’d like to know where I’m supposed to be sending this… ?R A B

Hello everyone,I am new to the Adobe community and I have recently started exploring Lightroom for my travel photography projects. I usually shoot a mix of city and nature scenes, but I often struggle to maintain consistency in tones and lighting across different environments.I have tried using presets and manual adjustments, but sometimes the results look flat or unnatural. I am particularly interested in learning how other photographers manage color balance and lighting when editing travel photos that include both bright outdoor shots and low-light indoor images. What techniques or workflow adjustments have helped you create a balanced and natural look in your travel edits?I am looking forward to learning from your experiences and improving my editing process through your advice.

Since the release 24.003.20054, Adobe Reader is AGAIN running slow again opening documents Does anyone know why Adobe Acrobat Reader is so *incredibly* slow & keeps hanging please?I keep getting the 'not responding' message; have to close it down & try again.Documents load *really* slowly, if at all!I have a fast PC with 32 GB of memory, so that shouldn't be the problem... The previous 'fix' at here no longer works !!Any ideas on speeding it up please?

Every time I open Acrobat to view or edit a file, I receive a pop-up message indicating I’ll have “Full Access” once I “renew” my subscription.  Today is August 7, 2026.  My Next payment for my Annual plan of $779.88 isn’t due until Mar 3, 2027. I have to close and relaunch the software every time to stop getting the pop-up so I can edit my files.  I’ve used this for several years, and this started happening in late May of 2026.  I’ve cleared and deleted my cookies, logged out, signed back in, and this keeps happening.  Can anyone tell me if there’s a fix to these error messages?Thank you, Joe

My image of a candle and dark background was approved immediately, however a following image with the same photo with added text was rejected for Quality issues. Why is this? Im very puzzled. See screenshot of the rejected file. Appreciate any insights on this, thank you.
