Solved

I had a student discount 12 month subscription to CC, it has just auto-renewed at a crazy amount of money which I cannot afford and don’t want.  I only use AE, which I’ll re-start when I need to use it next.I cancelled the plan to CC but says I’m paid up until July 2027, I REALLY need that money back ASAP but cannot see a way to request an immediate refund.

Hi everyone,I'm building a premier pro plugin with uxp and stuck with a problem as I'm facing a challenge to mimic the razor tool feature.I'd like to - Programmatically create these cut sections in my original video/sequence - Add markers or tags to indicate which parts came from the original source- Place them in a new sequence one after another- Export srt file programmatically- Extract video metadata programmatically Is there any way to do this using the UXP APIs, or would I need to fall back to CEP (ExtendScript) to achieve it? Thanks

Hi, I have paid version of creative cloud pro In my server there is no graphic card and i don’t want it. I am a small video editor and the server is lying with me with no use. So I decided to use it. Its a 24 core cpu dual socket, 256gb ecc ram and 8tb hdd. I want to use for video editing for just 1080p  videos or less. I’m receiving - adobe media encoder your system's hardware does not support hardware acceleration for the current settings. I’m attempting to use media encoder 26.3.1. My project is in Premiere 26.3.0. The project file is local and the files are on an EVO NAS.My desktop setup is as follows: Intel Xeon W-2265 @ 3.5GHz, NVIDIA RTX A5000 24GB, 128GB RAM, 1TB m.2 OS Drive Windows 11 Enterprise, 500GB m.2 cache SSD.

I travel a lot and like to post images across sites, and for clients when required. My usual process is that raw images are edited and saved as JPGs in a subfolder and I put these within the original date folder. When I return home, I export these relevant date folders as a catalogue (where I make sure to include the JPG subfolders) and then import them to my desktop. These tend to get grouped together (not ideal) and then my JPG images no longer appear after this. It's very confusing as this is the only format I use at this stage in the process. Anything afterwards I dabble in PNG, SVG or WebP. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Trying to adjust multiple transitions on audio and video at the same time but it only affects one transition at a time. I thought this was a feature released in 25.4 (https://helpx.adobe.com/au/premiere/desktop/edit-projects/intro-to-editing/apply-multi-transitions-across-audio-and-video-clips.html) but it doesn’t seem to work. I can’t find any videos or articles that explain this problem or even anyone acknowledging this feature even exists. Can anyone help me? Is there a setting I need to enable?

A year ago, I ordered an annual Creative Cloud Pro student subscription and paid €243 for it. Yesterday, my subscription renewed automatically, but the price was €504 instead of the original amount. Is it possible to get a refund if I cancel my subscription and then subscribe again at the student rate for a year? Many thanks for the answer.

If a file is over the “Save for web” maximum resolution of 8192px it scales down the image to max res. Even though exporting slices that are smaller than the max. res. (1080x1350px) it still scales it down to about 75%. The original file is 10800x1350px big, and has 10 slices á 1080x1350px that are scaled down to a height of 1024px.

I didn't realize I have been subscribing to Adobe Stock for 7 months until I check the billing information on my account today. I have checked other posts on the same topic and over 90% of them face the same issue as I do-- they subscribe to a year plan for adobe stock without knowing about it. Adobe will give you one month for free but fail to inform you that will be charged $30 USD per month for the next year.    Now, neither could I cancel the subscription to Adobe Stock because I 'subscribed' to a year plan nor would I add money to my credit card to have Adobe continuously charges me until I receive my refund for all the money that I pay for Adobe Stock and have my subscription to Adobe Stock canceled.   It is difficult to believe a big corporate like Adobe would use such a cheap method to steal money from their customers. It is really disappointing. It is basically a scam and I need a proper explanation for it!

Hey Adobe! How do I keep my accumulated credits if I cancel my subscription???????

In editing  the 700KB PDF I replaced many of the fonts, and many, many subsets of the new fonts were embedded in the revised PDF. So now the list of embedded fonts in it is huge, some subsets being duplicated or even triplicated with different encodings, and some fonts not used at all in the file (e.g. sans serif fonts) as well as the font that I replaced in editing the file also appear in the list,.  I've made screenshots of this huge list of fonts, which I would attach to this post if that could be done. I'm attaching a folder containing screenshots of the list of fonts in the Properties of thefileApart from the fact that the file is now bloated because of the embedded fonts, it has also been deemed unacceptable for POD publishing by Ingram Spark because its list of fonts includes AS USED BUT NOT EMBEDDED  fonts which in fact are not used in it. I wonder if anyone has ever encountered this sort of problem.

I have been having difficulties with Adobe for a while. I have a paid subscription enabling me to export pdf files to docx. (renewed in June) For a few months (even before I renewed) the conversion feature has not been available from within documents, only if I go to my account. Instead it offers me the opportunity to take out a subscription (which I already have). It has gotten worse and worse. Now I cannot even open pdf documents from my file explorer - I am getting the message “Something went wrong” “A running instance of Acrobat has caused an error”. I have important work to do with a strict deadline and need to open and print files and convert some to word. How can I fix this mess?

More context in addition to the title - I tried several times during the years to login. In the meantime I lost my Allegorithmic Substance Designer and painter licences when they were bought by Adobe as well, so I put it all on ice and waited.Serbia recently entered SEPA, so I suppose that should help with the overall situation. The problem is I cannot access my account and am stuck at login screen - giving me an error anytime I try to log in. This isn’t my primary source of revenue, so it was never especially urgent for me to resolve but on the other hand, I am receiving info in my inbox that some of my assets (that were listed on fotolia) are selling from time to time. What can I do to access my account - or what should I do to transfer my Fotolia Account to Adobe Stock, finally?

Hello everyone,I hope someone can help me.I own an original Adobe CS6 Master Collection.CS6 had been running perfectly on my iMac 27" (Late 2013) for many years. Recently, I completely erased my Mac and performed a clean installation of macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. After that, I reinstalled CS6 from the original DVD.During the installation, I was asked to enter my serial number. After entering the serial number and clicking "Next", the following message immediately appeared:"Please connect to the Internet and try again."It also says:"The computer appears to be offline. An Internet connection is required. Please connect to the Internet and try again."When I start Photoshop afterwards, the "Validate Serial Number" window appears. If I click "Validate", the exact same message appears again.Additional information:macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 iMac 27" (Late 2013) My Internet connection is working. CS6 had been running on this exact Mac for many years before I reinstalled macOS. Unfortunately, bef

where do I find the tools like Paint Brush, Paint Bucket, etc that I used in Elements 2020? I had to upgrade to 20206 because 2020 wouldn't open on my new iMac? The new tools exhibited seem very simple and limited. Have the older tools be eliminated or are they somewhere I cant find

I have a question about the annotation workflow in the new Acrobat integration with WhatsApp.Suppose Person A annotates a PDF and shares it with Person B. Then Person B adds their own annotations and forwards the updated PDF to Person C.How does Person C know which annotations were made by Person A versus Person B? Are annotations attributed to their respective authors, or do they all appear as a single set of comments? Also, will Person C always see the annotations from Person A, or does that depend on how the PDF is shared or saved? 😟I'm curious how annotation history and authorship are handled in this workflow, especially when documents are passed between multiple people. If anyone has already tried this workflow or has experience with it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Large, high-res screens are obviously great for photography but the text on the panels does get quite small in the process.  For the most part the small fonts are not an issue, however when it comes to the exposure and related data it’s helpful to see that information at a quick glance.  To this end I offer the following as an alternate way to display that information so the numbers are larger and easier to view at a glance.  It also has the side benefit of requiring less vertical space.

Is there a way to export out ink separations at artboard size? I am trying to export ink separations through Ilustrator. Using the instructions from Adobe [https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/printing-color-separations.html], I am able to create a .pd through the print dialog. The only issue is that even though we are setting the printer to Postscript, I still seem to be limited to the size limitations of the printer listed on the PPD. Setting the PPD to Generic Postscript eliminates the Custom Size option, and selecting Device Independent completely eliminates the option to create the separations. Any help on this or alternate methods? Mainly just need to export the white ink plate at size.

I'm using the latest Photoshop 2025 (as well as the latest suite of other products) on a Windows 10 laptop.  I use Adobe Camera RAW and then Photoshop to edit RAW files.  Often, I want to rename a directory where I've saved files to.  However, even when I completely exit out of Photoshop, Windows will not allow me to rename the folder, as it claims it is in use.  And, yes, when I try to rename the folder, I don't have any files opened within it, and aren't otherwise in it.  The only solution is to reboot.  Why the heck is Adobe holding onto the folder locks after I exit the program, and how can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Hey everyone, Would be grateful if anyone could provide some detailed critique on my pics. Just bought a Canon R50 and started taking pics.I’m a beginner’s beginner so I don’t expect Adobe to accept a lot of my submissions but what does not help is a generic reason like quality issues. Among my 78 submissions, 2 have been accepted. So, if there’s anything I could work on ,please do chime in.Attaching one. Please and Thanks.Edit :  As suggested by Danielle, inserting an image rather than attaching multiple.THanks for letting me know of the file size limitation.

Hello! I have been working on making an InDesign document ADA compliant and essentially have been teaching myself how to do so. For the document, I have TOCs generated from Headers, which then link to the respective entry pages. When I export it to a PDF, NVDA reads every entry as “link link (entry title) link link, link link” (also to note, doing this in acrobat and not in the browser). Here is what a TOC entry and its respective tags look like. From what I can tell, it seems to be breaking up the line into separate bounding boxes, and NVDA is then rereading the link tags before each bounding box. Also interesting, the reader is not picking up the page number, just the links.I have tried to reorder the tags and boxes but NVDA continues to read it the same way, and I’ve messed around a bit with the hyperlink options in InDesign but that doesnt seem to fix the issue either. Is there any way to fix this?
