 Hi,I am trying to troubleshoot a color profile issue. Here is the setup:Photoshop contains JPG - channel blend applied to remove blackI believe the color profile of the JPG is RGB:This is linked into an Illustrator file, which also contains a linked vector PDFas well as some linework.My Illustrator document mode is RGB. When I export the file using Illustrator Default, I get a PDF that looks correct:But when I link into InDesign, the colors are wrong and there is a band at the top where one of the links is offset from the artboard. My suspicion is something to do with the linked vector PDF, which shows no color space when linked in Illustrator:I have been playing around with different settings and tutorials but I am not sure how to correct this. I would be very grateful for any help with this, I am new to color profiles. I assume that it is related to the way InDesign is handling the file because the output appears correct in PDF viewer as shown above.Here are the color settings of my

LR Classic 15.0 impromptu slideshow (not the full scale generate version) has always show a full screen image with the caption overlaid ONTO the image. I think I may have set it up many years ago. Suddenly I’m getting the image surrounded by a large pale grey frame with the caption underneath. I have struggled and got somewhere near but I can’t see how to overlay the caption onto the image. Any ideas on how to do this and which option I’ve pressed to mess things up?Thanks,John

I am getting this error message when trying to Export as Catalog: I’m running on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 with Lightroom Classic 15.2 on MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 with 16GB of memory and about 197 GB free space on the hard drive.  The target for the export is an external hard drive with 1.85 TB available.  There are about 113 GB of images in the catalog (some are on external media).  A few minutes after starting the export, the progress bar seems to freeze.  About five hours after starting the export, the export process appears to die with the above message opening in its own window.  I’m trying to export around 10,000 images.  While the export is running, Lightroom Classic does not appear to be consuming a large amount of CPU or Memory.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro.I have the most up to date Premiere software.I restarted my computer.I tried freeing up space on my laptop.I tried updating my graphic driver and my computer said it was up to date.But every time I import a video it has this weird color distortion.This isn’t happening in After Effects. The issue is just with Premiere Pro.This all starting happening this week out of nowhere.BUT the one weird thing that did happen to my laptop is the display resolution is GREYED OUT in the settings window and all of my icons are way smaller. I have Acrobat as a part of my “package” (for decades).  Suddenly, when I try to open, create, read, etc. any PDF, I have to “start a new trial, or purchase that I all ready own.  I can’t seem to link the Adobe apps I have with the files I need to use/create.  How do I recreate that linkage?

How do I sign-out of all units? I alm logged in on two computers - I have lost of of them, and I want to sign-out

Once again, an update breaks something. In this case, it was broken several updates ago. Every time I open a file to work on, I have to relink all the graphics. It doesn’t matter if it’s one or 30 linked images. It doesn’t matter that I already linked them when I worked on them previously. Using the cleaner tool did not fix the problem, nor did deleting everything Illustrator-related and reinstalling. I’m on a Nov 2024 MacBook Pro running 26.4. I know I’m wasting my time writing about it here because the advice I’ve been given in the past has been completely useless. I’m just venting once again about what an utter disaster the application that my career is, unfortunately, based on has become.

Every time I "print to PDF" from anywhere, the document automatically opens in Adobe. How do i get this to stop happenng? 

I just wanted to convert (or combine) multiple docx files in Acrobat and was baffled when it showed me, docx wasn’t supported.In the convert tool, the open dialogue won’t even show docx as supported file type.Every support and help article I’ve found reads as if Word is a dependency for this to work? Why?There is nowhere advertised that I need Word for this tool to work, one of the primary reasons to use Acrobat. I've heard that the ability to register my PS CS5 license in no longer possile on my new Windows 11 system. IS this rtrue? Rather than waste a bunch of time and effort on something that won't work at least I could look for an alternative program that I can use. I don't use CS5 for montary gain and I refuse to get hooked into an expensive software subscription. If i need to learn a new program I'll do so but I will also carry a huge resent for Adobe after having paid for a program that can't be registered. That last part is what I've heard and hoping it isn't reality. I paid for a ligit license directly from Adobe and I expect it to work. Else I've learned a lesson. That applies to my Dreamweaver license. Thanks for any input. as well.

I almost exclusively use Acrobat to view architectural plans for bidding.  AI assistant keeps asking to summarize architectural plans (absolutely ludicrous) and it is BEYOND ANNOYING.  I have already turned it ‘off’ but the banner appears every freaking time.  How do I make it stop?

I'm having the same issue here.   CPU view as a workaround still isn't very responsive when zooming in using alt+scroll but at least scrolling works. Using GPU, both scrolling and zooming (using alt+scroll) are freezing.   Stragely enough, temporarily changing to the move tool (press and holde spacebar) or the zoom tool (ctrl+ spacebar) don't have this issue at all. I have a 15s video that sources several long 4k video and wondering how to hand off this project where the source footage can be “clipped” and saved only that portion, instead of packaging all source files that are roughly 20min each… looking to save file size and transfer time for the Copied folder….

I'm trying to switch from Picasa to Bridge as my photo organizer.  My main problem with Bridge is that it doesn't automatically recognize the tags created in Picasa as keywords. It seems to recognize them as "unassigned" keywords and displays them in the keyword panel in italics, but each one has to be right-clicked on and converted to "Persistent" to remove the italics and have the keyword entered into Bridge's library of keywords.  Since I have hundreds of keywords, that's not going to work for me.  Is there a faster way?

Hey, I’m trying to figure out how to make this frame effect. I know how to do the coloring and glow, but the problem is I can’t figure out how to create these kinds of pixelated edge particles. I can't even find an effect that could do it. If you have any ideas, I’d be grateful!
