Solved

Hoping for some help.  I am running the 15.5.1 updated version of LRC.  All of a sudden today I am having issues with the brush feature when using masks.  Both when I try to add a mask using a brush, but also when I select (e.g. ‘Subject’) and then try to use the brush to add or remove parts of the mask.  When I try to remove a portion of the mask the brush doesn’t do anything.  Interestingly, when I try to use the brush only, (with the show overlay box checked), it does not highlight the selection in the normal medium red color.  It looks like there is a small hint of red from the brush, but it is barely visible and adjustments don’t seem to really have much effect.  If I hit ‘create new mask’, then ‘select subject’ it highlights in a medium red just like it always has.  The brush feature just doesn’t seem to do anything anymore.  I’ve tested this brush issue with a radial gradient and a linear gradient, and the same issue, the brush does nothing anymore.  I’ve tried restarting.  This

Indesign often records screen and audio for a few seconds even if it doesn't have active permission. How is this possible? And for what reason? The screenshot is to show that no app has permission to record.   <Title renamed by MOD>

Selection Brush tool doesn't work on grayscale pages, didn’t tried all the other modes, but I’m sure it doesn’t work on grayscale pages. The history shows I used the Selection Brush tool, but no selection is made at all, all other selection ways works just fine, including quick mask mode.

HI there, I am receiving the error message ‘premier pro requires access to the following folders documents’; it directs me to the system settings. However, there I can see that they already have full access to the disk. There is no option to chose the folder ‘documents’. I already uninstalled and installed Premier multiple times, as well as all the Adobe apps and creative cloud and installed them back again. But it did not solve the issue. Thanks

The latest version on InDesign was not working on our Windows 11 systems: it either wouldn’t launch or when using it, text will disappear in text boxes (even though it is still there) and the Undo action only performs one or two undos. Uninstalled and went back to InDesign version 20.5.1 which appeared to work fine until today: now I am having the same undo problem. Tested in a brand new document. It should be noted that coworkers with Macs are not having this issue.I saw a previous post that said this could be fixed by unchecking the GPU option in preferences, but that is NOT checked in mine (it is greyed out because it says it does not detect a compatible device). It is almost impossible to work knowing you only have one undo, please advise how to fix this!

I can’t believe this is happening again. We really should get some sort of discount or refund for all the time we’re wasting lately with this issue. After being solved, this problem shows up again with the last update. I suddenly lose all UNDO steps, past the last four or five, just like what happened a few months ago.If the problem is related with the History panel, JUST DISABLE THE HISTORY PANEL. We didn’t have this issue before the panel, so I guess it has something to do with it.

It seems firefly has stopped generating videos. Is there any issue in the model? I’m not able to create any videos in Microsoft edge, Firefox or chrome. Is is not possible that all 3 browser has some issue. Even simple prompt doesn’t work. enhance prompt also don’t work. using kling 3.0 1080, even 720 is not generating with one line prompt

I recently lost access to my school adobe account and my adobe portfolio. I contacted my school IT and was granted access back but my school Adobe account but portfolio website is no longer visible on my edit page. I have no access or view of it. Is there anyway I can retrieve the information and my website back so I can transfer it to my new personal account? I got an email stating "Hi, We're contacting you as our records show that your organization administrator has closed your Business ID, which means you can no longer access your Portfolio from that Profile. To ensure your work is not lost, we automatically migrated your Portfolio to its authenticating Enterprise/Federated ID: [school email]. Im not sure what it means. I just want to get my portfolio website back so I can transfer it. The original website url is still says it is in use but my access to it is completely gone. Please advise!

Hi, I am trying to add a signature in a text box field like this one, but it always ends up behind it. I couldn’t find any way of layer ordering this. Is there a solution? The box appears to accept just text and can’t select it to add signature or anything. Thanks!!

I am able to hold shift and use the free transform tool to change my frame and object at the same time, but I need to be able to type in a specific width - it’s exhausting to try to hit the exact size by dragging, and In Design isn’t letting me get exactly there either. I need the two to be linked, because I used the frame to do some pretty heavy cropping, and I need that to be maintained.

Hello people of the world!Just as the title says, all of my installed Adobe Fonts are gone, poof! I opened Illustrator, told I needed to log-in (last use was on Aug 30) so I did, opened my AI project file and was greeted with a Missing Fonts pop-up. I also opened PS to check, also gone. I checked CC and there were no fonts! So I looked it up on the internet and showed that it might be a sync problem. I did the CC preference, torn off font sync, log off and in, restarted my desktop, etc etc. I only got 2 fonts back! Crazy! Will this problem fix automatically on its own or should I just cope and re-install the fonts if I could still remember the names? Any input is welcome :DThanks!

Trying the new Text-Based Editing in 23.4.    However, it does not appear to be working correctly... or at all.   I have a clip on sequence that has been automatically transcribed. I can go to the "Transcript" window, and highlight text. I can right-click on the text and all options appear - Cut, Delete (Ripple), Delete, etc. When I choose "Cut", for example, the text does not cut in the "Transcript" window and no cut is made in the sequence.   Same issue if I load the clip in the "Source" panel. I can hightlight the text, right-click to show the "insert" and "overwrite" options, but neither function inserts the clip into the timeline.

Hi, I just paid for a photoshop plan and I was looking forward to try the harmonize feature that is still in Beta but on my creative cloud account, I don't have the beta apps option. Is something wrong with my plan or do I need to sign up for the program first?

hello everyone, I use my Ipad to read and edit documents. Recently, I updated the software to the latest version IOS version. The problem is that ever time I use the reader, the app will prompt me by saying that the document was a “read only“ version and requires me to create a local copy. What’s worse is that after creating a local copy, the same problem arises after awhile All these problems doesn’t exist before the update and I am Sure that the documents are not “read only version”. Appreciate any help here!

If i do a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 i cannot playback mp4 files with 5.1 audio. Microsoft writes "Beginning with Windows 11, version 24H2, the AC-3 codec is no longer included with Windows." and no solution is available such as "Buy the AC3 codec in MS Store now!!".   To reporduce: 1. Do a clean install of Windows 11 2. Install Premiere Pro 3. Import a mp4 file with 5.1 audio.   Result: The file will be imported as video-only.   Expected result: That the file imports as Video/Audio and that i can playback the file and hear the 5.1 audio.   Additional info: If you have upgraded from a prior version of Windows 11 to 24H2 the AC3 codec is included, so doing a clean install of Win 11 24H2 is vital to reproduce this.   I have a HP Z4 G5 workstation and none of the audio drivers for this machine do contain any AC3 codec that Premiere Pro can use.   Any solution from Adobe?   Microsoft document: Codecs in Media Player - Microsoft Support

In LR Mobile I used to be able to show full-screen images with Title and Caption overlays (or exif overlays).  The Title and Caption option seems to have disappeared.  Am I missing something?  (For my purposes, without the Title and Caption in an overlay or in a simple uncluttered header/footer, LR Mobile is effectively useless.)

Recently both of my Canon 5D4s (latest firmware; 14.0) began presenting with new bugs when tethering to my Macbook M5 Max (lates OS; OSX Tahoe 26.6.2) using Lightroom (lastest version; 15.5.1).Until 3 or 4 weeks ago there were no problems and tethering to Lightroom was usually very smooth. Now as soon as a camera is connected to Lightroom control on the camera of White Balance, ISO and, most critically, Autofocus is lost. Control returns to the camera as soon as the connection is ended. I have tried with multiple cables and checked and rechecked all the obvious focus settings that might cause issues, as well as permission settings and USB access settings on cameras and Macbook etc. The problem is identical in all circumstances. This renders my ability to shoot professionally unviable. Is this a known new problem?Any suggested workarounds?Apart moving over to Capture One?

@Sameer K I did the same steps, deleted the library file, uninstalled and reintalled the app, and it’s still the same. Is there any way I can get help on this? I gave the permissions for full disk manually even if the Lightroom (cloud version on Mac) didn’t ask for it.

Adobe Animate won't install on my new laptop (Windows 11). It is part of my Creative Cloud package; it is the reason I have CC. When I download the .exe and try to launch it, nothing happens. It kicks me back to the Adobe site.

I started the InDesign free trial on August 19. Trial supposedly ended on August 26.Today (September 3), I canceled my subscription, expecting a refund because I saw this on Adobe’s website:But I received no confirmation of the refund. What gives?

Since the latest versions of Lightroom Classic and MacOS the masking of people always shows “No people found” – even on photos where it was working before. Lightroom Classic version: 15.2 [ 202602111402-ec4112e8 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: en-DEOperating system: Mac OS 26Version: 26.3.0 [25D125]Application architecture: x64Logical processor count: 24Processor speed: 3,3GHzSqLite Version: 3.36.0Adobe GSDK Version: 1.4.0.171Built-in memory: 196.608,0 MBDedicated GPU memory used by Lightroom: 4.743,3MB / 16.368,0MB (28%)Real memory available to Lightroom: 196.608,0 MBReal memory used by Lightroom: 3.040,3 MB (1,5%)Virtual memory used by Lightroom: 55.303,7 MBMemory cache size: 62,7MBInternal Camera Raw version: 18.2 [ 2482 ]Maximum thread count used by Camera Raw: 5Camera Raw SIMD optimization: SSE2,AVX,AVX2Camera Raw virtual memory: 631MB / 98303MB (0%)Camera Raw real memory: 644MB / 196608MB (0%)Cache1: Final1- RAM:519,0MB, VRAM:1.818,0MB, ALP05331.ARWNT- RAM:519,0MB, VRAM
