im trying to change the ppi of an image that is suppose to be at 1200 but reads as 72.  I open the image in Mac and resolutions reads 72 even thought the originator said its suppose to be 1200. I then open it in PS, go to image, size and change to 1200ppi & resample then save as.  Yet image is still at 72. How do I get art to stay & save at 1200?

Hello! I am looking for some help. I am currently editing a video in which I am using around 200 photos. I make compositions for pairs of photos and then edit them in their separate compositions. I am planning to then use these compositions into a bigger one to fit them all together. However, I am running out of space. Even after clearing my disc cache, I only have 13GB of storage. I am not even a quarter way through the photos. Is there a way to do this without taking up so much space? I was considering rather transferring the file onto a USB but the After Effects file is only a few hundred kb. Otherwise, does the numerous compositions make it take so much space? Any advice is helpful! Thank you!

I’m learning Adobe After Effects and I’m interested in creating short gaming-style animations inspired by the fast-paced visuals of Geometry Dash. I’d like to experiment with glowing objects, transitions, motion effects, and beat-synced animations. While looking for Geometry Dash-related resources, I came across Geometry Dash APKs and it gave me some ideas for the type of gaming visuals I could recreate as an animation project. For someone just starting with After Effects, which effects and techniques would you recommend learning first for this kind of energetic gaming-style animation? Hyperlink removed by Mod.

I tried opening Photoshop this morning but I kept getting a message that it cannot open. I went to my Creative Cloud and it said Photoshop was not installed. It directed me to use Photoshop on the web browser. I downloaded the DMG file and opened it (working on a MAC) and it now works but ALL my Actions, Presets and Brushes from years of collection are gone. How do I get them back?

Everytime I open lightroom classis now and try to use my pixieset plugin I get the error code #1000 "Connection failed, please check your internet connection and try again". I have strong internet connection so this isn't the case. I am using Lightroom classic v 14.5.1 on Windows 11 and recently switched internet from spectrum to fiber, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I have removed and added the plugin several time as well. Would appreciate any insight, this has been very frustrating!!

Hi everyone,I want to create professional promotional flyers and marketing graphics for Si Australian Website. My documents are lost without deleting them, where and how can I find them

I just purchased a Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, and tried to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat. However, I am running into a repeated issue where Adobe says "Upgrading Key Features" and getting stuck on continously installing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. Please help. I am about to ask for a refund, this is horrible design and service if even after I pay I cannot use it.

Illustrator has started auto-implementing generative AI for tasks that do not require it. I was cropping/resizing/realigning three images on an art board, when out of nowhere, generative AI turned on and I was informed I was consuming credits. I have only found suggestions on how to hide the pop-up, not to disable generative AI all together. Does anyone know how to turn it off? Thanks. –M

Program and source monitor keep going black, exporting is being struck in the middle, can anybody please hep

Some users in our enterprise are experiencing an issue when working with PDF Portfolios. When attempting to open a component file (PDF) from the portfolio, the new tab with the file is blank. Closing the tab and reopening the same file will correctly show the file on the second attempt. This behavior is occurring on version 2026.001.21771 of Continuous Release. This is affecting only a handful of users. We have attempted some of the usual Preferences tricks like disabling Enhanced Security and Protected mode, but they don’t seem to do anything.

Is there any authentic site to download this script?

Hi there, so I was chatting with Adobe Help center. There is no way I can use PSD 5 on my computer, I feel like they (Asobe) stole from me. I bought their product and I can not use it. This is very frustraiting. PSD5 was not cheap. In US it was 699 dollars. I bought in Poland, but the price was similar. Is anyone suing them for this anlawfull practice? My problem explained with AI help : “I have a legally purchased perpetual license for Adobe Photoshop CS5. When I try to activate it on my current computer, Adobe says that the maximum number of activations has already been reached.I no longer have access to the previous computer(s) where the license was activated.I am not asking to transfer the license to additional computers. I only need the previous activations to be deactivated/reset so that I can activate my existing Photoshop CS5 license on my current computer.”

There’s a new feature for the Remove Tool in PS 27.7.0, which allows for a local AI model that can be used “offline” and doesn’t require credits. It’s described here:  I meet the hardware and software requirements. Tried downloading this component / addon multiple times since yesterday, in PS and in CC App, but after 30-60 minutes the download always interrupts at 48% and it gives the error message “unable to extract files” and “error: code 127”. CC App lacks the basic function of resumable downloads, it always starts from the beginning. I have 630GB of free space, btw, so that’s not the issue. I did all the AI chat suggestions like deleting the Adobe temp folder contents on my root drive, giving full permissions for the folder, adding an exclusion for the folder in Windows 11 defender - none of that helped. Wasted a full hour in the chat with a human (?) or “human” agent that did not understand what the issue is, giving me completely irrelevant suggestions like “this feature does not

I currently have 34,735 photos in Lightroom, which is just under 2TB of storage. Roughly 2/3rds of these are stored on an external 5TB SSD which is hooked up to my iMac M4, and edited with Lightroom Classic. The other 1/3rd are older photos that I don’t access often, and are on a second external 5TB SSD. These are still connected to the Lightroom library in case I need to edit any for a business client. My problem is that my internal hard drive (512GB) on my iMac is getting full. Out of the 512GB, there is 117GB of Lightroom catalogs (names like “Lightroom Catalog-2-v13-3.zip”), most of which are 3 - 4GB in size, so roughly ¼ of my iMac hard drive is backups for Lightroom. I would like to clean out what I do not need. However, I am not sure what I can safely delete out of these 36 backups.Could anyone help me figure out how to go about this, please?

Hello Adobe Support, I have an active paid subscription that includes Illustrator and need an official offline installer for Illustrator 2024 (version 28.x) for Mac, preferably the latest available 28.x build. My setup is a MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), Apple M1 Max, 64 GB RAM, running macOS Sonoma 14.6.1. I currently have Illustrator 2026 installed and would like to keep it alongside Illustrator 2024. I use a Graphtec CE5000-60 cutting plotter with Cutting Master 4 version 5.10 (build 3871). Cutting Master detects the plotter over USB, but its Illustrator plug-in supports Illustrator 2024 rather than 2026. I have already checked Other Versions in Creative Cloud: the oldest version offered is 29.0, so 28.x is unavailable there. Adobe Admin Console also says I do not have access. The virtual support assistant did not provide a 28.x installer. Following the Community Manager advice in the Illustrator community, I am posting here. Could an Adobe staff member please provide an official downl

I am the original purchaser and single user. I may have a few old Photoshop and Illustrator projects. Can those be opened in a current Creative Cloud version?

After 27.8.2026 updates I face randomly several errors in Photoshop, Camera Raw and Lightroom. Freesing, closing, not exporting, memory issues. Anyone else? All those worked perfectly till the update. In Task Manager everything looks like before.

Hello allI am looking to ensure my workflow is optimised when I am working with RAW files through to the final print ready file.I normally open the RAW file and save it down as a PSD file. This is my working file. When I am happy with the image, I flatten the PSD and then save it as a TIF file. The flattened TIF can still be a large file size but I’ve always believed this is the best file format for the final design. Then that file is either printed as a standalone file or inserted into Indesign.I also resize the PSD and then save it as a web asset.I have come across creatives using TIF as the layered working file and also people using JPEG as the final file to either be printed or inserted into Indesign. I don’t normally use this workflow.Be great to get your thoughts. Thanks as ever.

My Adobe Stock Contributor Account with 38000 high quality AI generated assets is blocked I have been an Adobe Stock contributor for the past three years and have built a portfolio of nearly 38,000 images through consistent, daily work. Two years ago, I left my job, and Adobe Stock became my main source of income. Recently, my contributor account was blocked, but I was not given a clear explanation of the specific reason.I contacted Adobe Support and sent emails, but I have not received a response yet. This situation has been extremely difficult for me. After investing three years of hard work into my portfolio, receiving a single email that suddenly ended my ability to contribute has been devastating.Same thing happened with my friend with 11000 AI generated files  (450$ earning monthly). I respect Adobe's policies and understand that the rules must be followed. If I made a mistake, I am willing to understand it, learn from it, and correct it.I hope Adobe will review my account and, if

I want to find out my annual plan renewal date.  I have searched and can only find the monthly payment date.

I'm consistently getting the same problem where the image is displayed with a strong colour cast when it's perfectly neutral after conversion to Grey Gamma 2.2 in PS. I am using Edit>Convert to Profile (Advanced) to select convert to Greyscale Gamma 2.2 The change is instantaneous as preview is selected. I have tried other Greyscale options and all give the same colour cast. My monitors are obviously fully calibrated.I’ve now tried exported C1 files in Adobe RGB 98 and also Greyscale Gamma 2.2 and they too get the colour cast when converted and opened respectively in PS. This is a B&W conversion from a normal colour digital camera and I get the same when using those from a Monochrome sensor too.The image after conversion is perfectly neutral, it prints as such, but the strong cast in PS makes it nigh on impossible to make any meaningful changes and soft proofing is completely out of the question!!I need to print using Grey Gamma 2.2 for the QuadToneRIP in the making of digital n

Can anyone confirm whether Adobe Stock asset #808645209 is marked as generative AI in Adobe’s system? The public page does not appear to show a Generative AI label, but the image looks AI-generated or heavily synthetic. Thoughts?
