I am trying to get the PDF manager to work on coldfusion 2025 (developer addition) running on Ubuntu with Apache web server. I did the full GUI install (ColdFusion_2025_GUI_WWEJ_linux64.bin ) select developer addition, all add ons etc. Did no install the separate addons download. So jetty is instslled under cfusion. After installation I can verify the PDF  Manager ( in my case the install changed the port to 8999). Like some other post I have seen I was seeing the unregistered in the log. Selecting edit and saving without any changes allowed me to verify and provided the reghistered log item:May 2, 2025 07:15:06 AM Information [http-nio-8500-exec-4] - PDFg service manager http://127.0.0.1:8997/PDFgServlet/ unregistered.May 2, 2025 07:15:06 AM Information [http-nio-8500-exec-4] - PDFg service manager http://127.0.0.1:8997/PDFgServlet/ registered.I do have it connected to appache anbd the web root is set so in a file called test.cfm I have:<cfhtmltopdf><h1>Hello World<

I clicked the mask thumbnail, checked whether the colour is set to real black but the brush does not erases the parts of the embedded image anylonger.Any clue how to fix this? I used it earlier this morning without problems however all of a sudden this issue appeared… problem solved 😉

Emojis are not displaying in text when placed in. Adobe Express should support this, there is currently no compatability to place emojis in as text.

I’m looking for advice on using Adobe Acrobat more effectively for construction estimating. I regularly work with PDF construction drawings and need to review dimensions, measurements, areas, and quantities before preparing cost estimates.I’d like to know which Acrobat tools or workflow are best for taking accurate measurements from construction drawings, setting the correct scale, organising measurements, and documenting the information for a quantity takeoff. Are there any recommended Acrobat features or best practices that can help make the estimating process more accurate and reduce errors when working with renovation or construction drawings?

I used my Adobe Acrobat Pro account to compress a large scanned 98MB PDF file for size, not to recognize text, and the resulting compressed file is full or errors. It seems the fonts are all messed up with certain letters being replaced with white space (kind of like in the case of redacting), and so the contents are mostly ineligeble in this compressed file. It seems to me like it's reducing its size by literally deleting characters, which seems kind of absurd. What is going on that is causing this? I have not intended to or need to run text recognition on the file as I realize it is not the best quality text and there is handwritten notes throughout sporadically. How can I get a smaller size file without altering the contents (vs. reduction in clarity quality, which I am okay with!)? Thanks!-Yasmeen

Hi Adobe Team, I’m facing a small but very frustrating glitch in Photoshop, and I wanted to bring it to your attention. Whenever I’m using the Move Tool, and I try to switch to the Brush Tool by pressing B on my keyboard, Photoshop jumps to the Brush Tool for a split second and then immediately switches back to the Move Tool on its own. This keeps happening repeatedly, and only after trying 3–4 times does the tool finally switch properly. This issue is interrupting my workflow and becomes quite irritating, especially during long design sessions. I kindly request you to please look into this bug or guide me if there’s any fix or setting adjustment I should try from my side.

In 2011 I purchased Acrobat X Pro and activated it on my old computer. Later on the old computer was dead and recycled without deactivating Acrobat X Pro on it. Recently I installed Acrobat X Pro and tried to activate it on my current computer, then it said  it was activated on another computer and I need to deactivate the other one first. I no longer have access to the old computer, what can I do now? Thanks!

I am an IT Administrator. We are facing an issue where we cannot activate Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on a new PC. It shows the error: "Maximum number of activations reached."At the same time, the Adobe portal (account.adobe.com) does not show my existing PC in the Activated Devices list — it shows completely empty. The product is registered in our account (Version 20.0, registered June 29, 2022) and the license is a perpetual serial number.

Hello!I've boosted a project and made a small edit (just changed the size of a text) a couple of hours later, unknowingly cancelling any boosts I have.My project was still under review for boosting, so the boost wasn't running when I decided to make an edit.Considering my circumstances, I would like to have the possibility to run the boost again, considering it wasn't active while I decided to make that small edit, and didn't have the chance to see its benefits yet.Thank you. Hope you can help me.

Copilot said:We have a user who is attempting to share PDFs directly from Adobe Acrobat. When using the share option, the email opens in Plain Text format instead of HTML, which is preventing the user's email signature from being applied correctly.I have already tried the following fix:I created a new key at:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDownI then created a DWORD value called bSendMailShareRedirection and set it to 0.Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue, as emails continued to open in Plain Text format rather than HTML.Has anyone come across this before or knows of a permanent fix?

Hi, I’m trying to purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud student membership, but I’m being told that the student plan is not available because my account region is set to Russia. This is confusing because I originally registered my Adobe account in China, and I am currently living in the United States. I would like to use the student discount available in the U.S.Could you please help me check why my account is showing Russia as my region and tell me how I can change my account country/region to the United States?I’m also currently a student and can provide my student ID or any other documentation needed to verify my student status.I’d really appreciate your help because I need access to the student plan for some projects I’m currently working on. Thank you!

I need to get a third party to sign a document with a qualified electronic signature. Do I need to have an enterprise licence to do this, or is this something the third party needs

I'm working on a web page mock-up and between versions I'm having to update the artboard/canvas size, yet whenever I need to make the change, the canvas size gets larger. For instance, I started out with the dimensions of 1200 x 1800 and needed to change it to 1200 x 2100, and when I did that it updated the artboard to the correct dimensions but the canvas size to 2200 x 2274. I left it for a day, restarted Photoshop and checked for an update, and now the canvas size has updated to 1200 x 2274 (previously 2200 x 2274 when I left it) and again won't change. The artboard is displaying the correct dimensions, but when I export the layer comps the canvas size is about twice the size of the actual artboard, no matter how many times I go in and manually change it. Does anyone have any advice on how to change this?

I’m working on some printable alphabet materials for children who are beginning to learn to read in Brazilian Portuguese, and I’ve run into a problem that I didn’t expect.I want each letter to have a simple illustration that helps the child associate the letter with a familiar word. But some letters are surprisingly difficult to represent naturally in Portuguese. I don’t want to just put a random picture beside the letter if the word doesn’t actually help the child understand the sound or letter. For example, I’m trying to make the pages simple enough for a preschool child to look at and immediately understand, without filling the page with too many colors, fonts, or objects.I’m also struggling with the practical side in Adobe: what would be the best way to create a consistent set of 26 illustrated letters so that the illustrations, letter sizes, spacing, and print quality all stay consistent from A to Z?For anyone who has designed educational printables or illustrated alphabets before,
