Suddenly in InDesign, it is only possible to undo three times; likewise, the history palette only records 3 actions. There don't seem to be any issues with RAM and space on the computer. This seems to have occurred after the update to InDesign 21.1. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro.

Hello,When I make a subclip in program monitor, I would like that this subclip goes directly to a tab called “subclip” in the binder at left. In this binder tab “subclip”, I want to have only subclips (no sequence file).How to do it ?

Hi all. I'm posting this in the hopes that it might help someone else out that may have the same symptom. Last week, my Adobe Reader stopped printing. Nothing I did produced any result. Not hitting the print icon. Not hitting CTRL+P. Not selecting "print" from the drop-down menu. There was no error message. No nothing. It was as if I hadn't clicked anything. I tried repairing the installation, no help. I've rebooted the computer many times over the last couple weeks. Here's what finally fixed it. On a whim, I went to Windows Explorer, right-clicked on the PDF file, and selected "print" from Explorers context menu. Adobe flashed open for a sec, and the document printed. Now, Adobe Reader prints as it always used to do. There must have been some little "glitch" or something going on.Problem solved. Hope this helps someone else.Artie

I am using an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card but in photoshop, when I try to use camera raw, I get an error message saying that graphics processor acceleration is required. The graphics card drivers have been updated recently. I see that there is an option to use the graphics processor in the preferences settings but this is greyed out. Any ideas please?

I have a problem with the fact that when I click open project, I get an error window "An error occurred in the afterfx.exe and it will be closed". I have already tried to disable absolutely all plugins, but it did not help, I also tried to change the GPU acceleration, which also did not bring success, please tell me what to do.

「書き出し」でプリセットを作り、画像のサイズ変更はしないので「拡大縮小100％」にしているのですが、解像度を設定することができず、300dpi出力されます。元画像は72dpiで同じ解像度で出力することはできないでしょうか。

Hello!I have created three vacation webpages containing many photos and texts with Adobe Express and I have a question that I have not been able to find in any search.  Can I save my webpages to my computer as I would a picture?  I have the links but I would like to save the full webpages directly to my computer just in case I lose it on Adobe Express.  Thanks!Paula Brown

My document is a 24x30 poster that mimics a newspaper layout with several columns. It is essentially a collection of many, one paragraph, text snippets in Myriad, Regular, 9.5 pt, with paragraph titles in Myriad semi-bold, 10 pt. Exporting to a PDF, High Quality Print, results in a file size about 250k. When a local copy/print store makes a laser print on regular generic paper, the text does not look all that crisp. So maybe it’s the paper? Or, the file size? Previously, I had printed a similar, text-only, large PDF, created by Illustrator… and the file size was around 2.5 MB and the text looked good. Once my final proofreading is done, I will have a final print made on better paper. But at $35 a pop, I wanted to be sure that I am doing everything correctly at the pre-press stage. What settings are needed to have text printed optimally on a large poster? *this is my first project with ID, but I am experienced with PS and AI.

The AppleScript command Export ignores the Export Option ‘artboard clipping’ for PNG8, PNG24 and JPEG files, which were the only file types I tried. In other words, when the option is set to true, the exported image has not been trimmed to the artboard. I happened to notice that with JPEG files, when the option blur:0 is included, the ‘artboard trimming’ option is effective. I am trying to remove a stop light from an image, but when I apply the brush it erases but leaves behind streaks of the arch as well as white strip. Any idea why the brush would leave a white strip or copy other parts of the arch? Previously, this image here was copied from the similar arch and laid on top with the move tool.

In practice, I’ve sometimes been left with digital soup. I’m presently using Photoshop Elements 2026. My organizer file has over 21,000 images in it. Keywords are divided between “Other,” “Imported Keyword Tags,” “People Tags,” “Family,” “Friends,” “Places,” and “Events.” There are people’s names in “Other” and “Imported Keyword Tags, places and evens in “Other,” and a few other oddities I can’t recall right now. Is it possible to move keyword tags from one category to another? I’d like to have all the names in “People,” geographic locations in “Places,” etc. I’d also like to be able to create new “Places,” tags, but when I try, the software brings up a U.S. map and requires me to pinpoint a location. Today I encountered a strange bug. I opened my Premiere Pro and booted an older project, which needed some feedback to be applied. All of a sudden, my screen started to flicker from being "on" to being blacked out for 2-3 seconds before appearing to come on again. This seems to happen mostly when scrubbing through my timeline, but also when opening settings it occurs. My file gets stuck loading whenever I try and open it. I’m successfully able to open other PDFs, files larger than this one, & files within the same project. I was able to open this file 20min before Adobe stopped working with it. So far, I’ve tried the following:updating adobe resetting font files turning off OneDrive link to prevent it looping to find missing image links deleting/re-installing InDesign resetting Adobe’s recovery files (Windows) I’ve looked through every folder on my computer for any backup & I cannot find one anywhereIt throws no error codes, please help me. Help! My hotkeys seem to have siuddenly broken.The basic function of making a lasso selection and using Shft+Ctrl+C to make a merged copy of the layers in the selection is no longer working. Instead it opens some weird chat / dialogue box that I've never seen or used before.I can still use this function if I go to the Edit menu and select Copy Merged but the hotkey doesn't work.

Hi there, If I place a grayscale bmp in InDesign will it print okay? I’m working with a brand that wants all their photos to look like duotones. So I’m turning the photo into a grayscale, saving as bmp, placing in Indesign and then colourizing it by choosing one brand colour as the background colour and the other as the “ink” colour (anything black in the photo will be this colour). Looks fine in Indesign. I’ve done test exports to pdf and it looks fine. and If I open up a page in Illustrator of the exported print pdf it looks fine, and I can see the placed BMP has been converted to a CYMK object which is fine for me. Their brand book suggests taking a grayscale image and then doing mode> bitmap and using dither, and then saving as a tiff, and following the same process in InDesign with colouring. However, when i tried the method, the preview in InDesign looked awful (even though high res preview is on) and the exports didn’t look as good (weird pdf artifacts that disappear when zoo

Apologies if this has been posted before, I tried looking for similar issues but couldn't find this exact issue*. How do I make the scrollbar thumb (the bit you click on the drag the scrollbar around) always appear in Adobe Acrobat on Windows 11? Right now the thumb only appears when you mouse over the scrollbar. This is a major usability issue, especially for long documents, as I have to guess where the thumb is and then make a corrective mouse movement when I inevitably get it wrong. In Acrobat on previous Windows versions and in every other app on Windows 11, a skinny scollbar thumb is always shown so that I can mouse directly to it and the thumb gets big when you mouse over it. -- I'm running Premiere Pro CC 2018 on a macbook pro 15" running High Sierra 10.13.3 --I had previously opened Premiere at home with my dual monitor setup. Now I'm on the road and when project opens the top windows are off-screen:When I select a different window arrangement, it gets worse:I can drag the bottom of the window and resize it but I can't get to the top to arrange it.Here's how I have attempted to fix it:- Hooked up an additional monitor. When monitor is attached I can move windows, but the moment I unplug monitor, the windows go back to original off-screen position (no matter where I had placed them while add'l monitor was running).- I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere. Same problem as before.- I restarted Premiere while holding the option key (to trash preferences). Problem still there.- I created a new project. No change in problem.Anybody have a good idea?
