Hi, I would like to create a script for a UI Script panel with two separate buttons: one for X Position and one for Y Position.The script should first separate the dimensions of the selected layer. Then, each button will apply the following expressions:PosX button: [thisComp.width] * 1/2PosY button: [thisComp.height] * 1/2 

Is there anyone who works with transparent backgrounds in Photoshop and video, where the background of the video should be transparent? I have a video sequence downloaded from Stock (Green background) - where I can't get an alpha channel to work. I've tried both with video and with converting the video to a smart object. I've also tried with a video from Firefly - where I've added two video clips (Foreground video and alpha channel video) But I don't get the option to turn on the alpha channel.How does this works? Please help me ...

Lightroom Classic shows photos as synced but originals never download.MobileDownloads.lrdata is never created.Sync.lrdata and wfindex were deleted.Disk permissions verified.This appears to be a known Lightroom cloud sync lock requiring an Adobe backend reset.

When I try to import files,  the auto culling window pops up. And at that point, Lightroom freezes. I can't close that window, or import or do anything.  The only way I can get out is by "end Task" in windows. Any ideas

hi all,this was not a problem yesterday. today, when i export my ai to png, the images are tiny. i can zoom in and they look fine, but they are not acting normal. normally, if i share one via imessage, it appears full size in the message bubble. these appear as tiny thumbnails. when i click to preview, they are still tiny, and i have to zoom in. My work around is to screenshot the zoomed in png. i hate that. it's stupid. i am exporting at 300 dpi, have my doc raster settings set to 300 dpi, and like i said, this wasn't a problem yesterday. Attached pics, vers, system thanks,david   

The contexual task bar is an incredibly handy feature, but when typing in text bubbles, I find that it can often obstruct a large portion of the text bubble whenever it adjusts its position for a new text layer. It makes it hard to center the text without having to move the contextual task bar. Having an option to anchor, or to lock it in place would be a great quality of life feature.

My agency is considering a switch from Classic to the cloud-based LIghtroom, which Adobe appears to call Lightroom ecosystem. For those who have made the switch, what are the pros and cons? Is performance better in the ecosystem version? Do you lose anything by abandoning Classic? Anything else we should consider for the decision? I've posted here many times about our performance issues. Hllo everyone, I brought in a logo design from chat gpt into illustrator. I want to change the color of soe of the text. When I select the company name with the moc=ve tool it selects certain letters. For example: COMPANY NAME...It selects every letter except the P, N, and M. Therefore, I change the color it is allowing me to change. So I select the letters that it did not change. Underneath the company name is the tagline.  when I select the letters in the compant name two letters in the yagline get selectes also. Therefore, when I change the remainng letters in copany name, two letters inn the tagline also change colors. Somehow they are groupled together. I just want to change the colors in the Company name. Not the tagline. I hope this makes sense. Can someone help me solve this problem > I'm new to illustrator and have searched you tube but to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Pretendo fazer a assinatura anual porém informa que os vídeos são de 5 segundos somente, esse limite de 5 segundos está correto para o plano Adobe Firefly Pro?Na versão gratuita consigo fazer um de 8 segundos.Conseguem tirar essa minha dúvida pois estou pesquisando sobre valores.Obrigado.

Running Windows 11 on a decent PC. Personally, I have never liked "Dark" mode but seem to be forced into it for Lightroom Classic (and Lightroom). Is there a 'light mode' I can enable? I haven't seen anything in preferences. Cheers Alan

hi, i have very much years of 3d,  PS, AE and AI experience but i´m quite new to indesign and i have a question belonging layers and master pages. i dont understand what the idea is to have more masterpages, and why only one layerwindow for x masterpages?...what logic is behind the fact that i cant see on which masterlayer the layers are drawn? can anyone explain me that in 1 or 2 sentences please. many thanks for help!thomes

Hi everyone,For a about a week, I've been having a problem with the Node.js JavaScript Runtime in the process manager. It's putting a heavy load on the cores, which increases the temperature, and as a result, the cooling system is starting to make noise. This problem didn't occur before, so I assume it started happening after some  update in software...

I have two PCs running Lightroom Classic. On each of them I have set the export option to choose the folder to save the export later. On one of them, I set it up once and the next time I do an export, it has remembered which folder I chose last time. On the other one, each time I export, I have to tell LRc which folder I want it saved in.   So, something is different somewhere, but I cannot find what or where. I've looked at all the preferences and as far as I can see, they are both the same. Anyone have any ideas?   Both PCs are running the latest Windows 11. They also now both use the same catalog file (on the network) although the issue was there when they had separate catalogs.   Cheers   Alan

In the old days, I'd create a file customized to my preferred document setup, color, layout, specifications, etc. and have it come up on Command+N and Command+Option+N. It wasn't an AIT, just a standard file placed deep in Illustrator's many files and folders. Maybe Presets, maybe Profiles, or somesuch. Would someone be so kind as to tell me where I'd put such a custom-made file in Illustrator 30?
