I updated to Illustrator 2017 earlier this week and I noticed now, when I hold my cursor over a swatch, it doesn't show me the swatch/Pantone name anymore.Does anyone know why and how to get that feature back?Please help.Thanks!

When I try to convert certain pages to PDF, it either will create the PDF but it is corrupt and when I try to create the PDF again, it says there is a background task running and that task is preventing me from doing anything else. Ultimately, I have to End Task and restart the program. It will work for a bit then I will have the same issue again. This is happening daily. I have not been able to pinpoint which background task is causing the problem. Running on PC, Windows 11 v23H2**NEW** Since my post last week, I found the issue but have no control over it. I always use File > Export within the same document when I export pages to PDF. Sometimes the Export to Interactive PDF window shows up and the export works properly. However, sometimes the Export to Adobe PDF

Seems like for no reason overnight all files within the same folder, and same Book, are doing this to the part number text boxes. I have never seen this, any ideas how this happened and how to correct it? I have more than a dozen files in this folder. Other InDesign documents open fine, it's only the files within this folder and they are all part of a book. Maybe something was done across the board to all files when the pdf was made from the Book?  

Hi there. I've installed the latest update of Indesign 2020. I'm now experiencing problems in that if I open a converted version of an Indesign docment, make changes then try to save, it says "Indesign is unable to save this file. We tried, but it appears to be damaged." (See Indesign 2020 Fig. 1). I have tried to save a copy of my document and it says the same thing. I have even tried to create a new document in Indesign 2020, save it as a test before putting anything in it and again the same message, "Indesign is unable to save this file. We tried but it appears to be damaged." (See Indesign 2020 Fig 2).  Is it a bug in the new Indesign update? Do I uninstall it and reinstall Indesign 2019? Could someone please help me?

how to make videos last longer than 5 seconds in Firefly. 5 seconds is too short to get a good idea across 

I have been using Digital Editions for a long time and now all of a sudden books aren't showing up in my DE library.  I know I have several in there.  I tried to dl a new book and it checks out of the public library OK but doesn't get fulfilled and show up in my DE library.I am using a Windows 7 laptiop and started trying to figure this out by restarting the laptop.  Didn't help.  Then I uninstalled DE 4.5 and downloaded it again and installed it again ibut still no books.  DE says it is authenticated on this computer and has worked fine for me for the last year or so without problem.What gives?I'd appreciate any and all help with this issue.  This is a program I use every day.

I keep getting this error when trying to save my after effects project.  I type command + F, choose my location on my HD, and save it as an .aep (the default setting) and this is the error i get - "After Effects Error: File couldn't be opened for writing: "(name of project).aep". (3 ;; 0)

I set the project to REC709 as suggested, which helped a bit but the image still looks different and flat. I tried adjsuting Lumetri changing codecs, exporting via Media encoder and rendering in another software 

Look, can I send you a bank statement? In the image, it is clearly seen that the money was taken from Adobe. And there was no money in my account for months. You activated my subscription because it was today, but I didn't want it and canceled my subscription. My aim is not to disturb/tire you. A clear answer you give me will satisfy me. This icon keeps glowing even when I hide the whole bar, I keep looking for options to disable it but haven’t been lucky 

I am editing som FM documents that were created in - I believe - FM 4 or 5. There is a lot of equations and they look allright. But not ALL of them. Some look like this: It looks like there is a missing font with the "?Plus Symbol?"... I don't have a lot of experience using the equation editor but the font palette does not show any missing fonts. What might be the issue here?

I am writing to request your assistance regarding the recovery of my personal documents that were accidentally deleted from my Adobe account. These documents were very important and were stored within the Adobe application (such as Adobe Scan / Adobe Acrobat). Despite checking all possible locations, including the Trash/Deleted files section and cloud storage, I have been unable to locate or restore the deleted documents. Hi!I don't have access to my Behance and Adobe Portfolio. I have recently migrated my Behance - https://www.behance.net/tomasz_wieloch and Adobe Portfolio - https://tomasz-wieloch.myportfolio.com/ to a Business profile and now when I log in to the website with the same password and email as before it takes me directly to an empty profile - https://www.behance.net/tomaszwieloch. I have selected to not have my account be selected automatically and it still doesn't let me choose the correct account.When I log in to my Adobe Account it let's me choose the correct account though, only not on Behance and Adobe Portfolio. Do you know how to get back access to my portfolio?

Das heißt, die letzte Zeile eines Absatzes (oder 2, je nach Umbruchoptionen) klebt an den beiden ersten Zeilen des nächsten Absatzes (oder nur 1).Umbruchoptionen habe ich alle durch, ich kann damit lediglich wählen, wie viele Zeilen aneinanderhängen. Es ergeben sich unschöne leere Flächen am Spaltenende, für die noch Text vorhanden wäre.Verkettungen gibt es nicht, harter Zeilenumbruch ist selbstverständlich gewählt.Bei "klebenden" Überschriften hilft es, diese mit hartem Zeilenumbruch in eine neue Zeile zu schieben und die darüber zu löschen. Do you have any idea how many PDFs I have open at a time? Sometimes all grouped within one "page" of tabs, while others opened all by themselves. When switching between files I need to first reference the PDF file name so I know I am selecting the correct file. No longer do you show the entire file name within the tab, even if there is only ONE PDF file open...why did you change this? Now I have to take multiple steps to see a file name including leaving the file I'm currently within, suchas an Excel file, then select the Adobe PDF and hover over the tab to see it name. Are you kidding me? Not efficient whatsoever. Let the tab take up as much room as it needs to show the PDF file name! If I add another PDF file to the same grouped "page," then show as much as you can of both PDF file names. Why did you change this? I'm trying to understand the reasoning.

Ok I tried this last year and I seem to be making the same mistake now. I use this link to wanting to view my 1099 InvoiceInfo - 1099 Request Form I enter my SSN as it is entered on my W8. I then enter my Adobe Contributor Member-ID. I get the error that they do not match. How do I get a 1099?
