I’m trying to understand whether this is a bug, a regression, or an intentional workflow change.Until recently, I distinctly remember being able to use Lightroom Classic’s HDR workflow and choose Edit In > Photoshop, with the file opening in Photoshop as a 16 Bits/Channel HDR file using an HDR Rec. 2020 / PQ-style workflow. This preserved HDR headroom while still allowing normal 16-bit Photoshop layer operations and creative blending modes such as Overlay, Soft Light, Linear Light, etc. Now, when I send an HDR image from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop, it opens as a 32 Bits/Channel document. That does preserve HDR luminance information, but it disables many important layer blending modes and tools, which breaks a lot of normal compositing/retouching workflows. The confusing part is that Lightroom Classic 15.0 release notes mention updated External Editing support for exporting images to Photoshop in “16-bit or 32-bit HDR formats,” with support for HDR sRGB, HDR Rec. 2020, and HDR Disp

This should be straightforward, but I’m just learning InDesign. I want to put the chapter name in the running foot. The chapter name is on a style. How do I do that? Also, as a matter of design, do you have any recommendations on which side of the page to put the title or the page #? I’ll probably do it mirror image for left and right pages.

Editing a PDF (adding a couple text boxes and importing my signature) used to take 30 seconds. Now it’s a good 15 minutes of almost screaming at my computer. I’m in a complete f*cking rage. It should not be this hard. I can’t even describe how absolutely insanely stupid it is now.As you can tell, this is not a question. It’s feedback. Acrobat is just getting worse and worse. I can’t just open a PDF without a thousand popups telling me about the latest AI features.I DON’T CARE. DISPLAY DOCUMENTS AND LEAVE ME ALONE, that’s all I want Acrobat to do. I do not need any new features. I haven’t needed any features for probably 10 years. Let me add text boxes without having to re-re-re-re-re-choose EVERY SINGLE TIME what font and color and style I want to use.I just can’t articulate right now. I know I’m supposed to calm down and then post something smarter with a cool head, but by the time I calm down about this sh*t, I just want to never think about it ever again. But then I need to sign anoth

I cancelled my free trial within the 7 days and was charged thereafter for subscriptions. I want a refund

Lightroom Premium purchased for iPad is not getting activated. It used to work before but upon Lightroom app update its not working anymore. I have tried pressing on “Restore Purchases” over and over (over multiple days) but my subscription is not getting restored

I'm on PC, Windows 10.I just updated both After Effects (25.2.2) and Adobe Media Encoder (25.2) today.  Before when I added videos from AE to AME, they looked just fine. I usually export as either H.264 match source-high bitrate, or as Quicktime, or AVI, and had no issue with the look or color. Now when I send to the queue, the videos end up looking dark and oversaturated.  My After Effects project settings are usually Rec 709 for the color settings. I've tried setting it to sRGB IEC61966-2.1, and none, with the same results when trying to export to AME. When exporting from After Effects, the results look just fine. I'm aware I can export from AE and convert videos in AME, but in my daily work, it's really nice just sending it to the AME queue and having it render in the background while I continue to work on shots in After Effects.  I've searched the forums for this issue, and found similar issues, but not quite what I'm experiencing. Any advice

Attempting to compare revisions of engineering drawings, and because someone moved some of the existing images to make room for the additions the compare tool just shows the entire sheet on old and new versions as having been replaced. Is there no way to match up individual portions of figures or sheets? If I have two pdf versions and they have (0,0) in coordinates at slightly different spots, the program should be able to recognize the actual differences and not just tell me the entire thing is different.Useless, who would build a diff tool and then make it unusable because it can't actually distinguish content? Does anyone know of a compare tool for pdfs that has any level of intelligence and won't think I deleted and replaced everything between two versions of a document that are 99% the same but had their position adjusted?Adobe sucks

Adobe keeps crashing for only one user in the company. Adobe will stop responding and will have to be force closed via task manager. Also, Adobe is just laggy in general when it is working. This does not happen for other users on other PCs who are accessing the same PDFs using the same version of Adobe. We have tried so many things to resolve this issue, nothing works. We have completely uninstalled Adobe, along with any lingering folders/registry keys. We’ve updated Adobe. The event viewer logs don’t help. They just say something along the lines of “application hang”. This is the free version of Adobe. Is there anyway to get in touch with support or something? Is there support for the free version of Adobe.

After the 20.3.1 update, exporting a file to a PDF from InDesign is painful. Ridiculously slow even when the document is fairly light weight, everything is linked properly etc...never mind when it's a larger, multipage document. It is so incredibly frustrating.    So far, I have tried: Restarting multiple times just to make sure it wasn't just these few documents that had the issue Trashing the preferences twice now Complete reinstall Turning off the live pre flight Turning off the GPU   None have worked.    I am using Extensis Connect as a font manager, mostly because I have yet to find an alternative where the auto activation works as well as theirs does. If I found something else, I'd probably switch as it can be laggy sometime but I've used it in conjunction with InDesign for years and years and have NEVER had an issue like this before.    Is anyone else having this issue? If so and you resolved it, how? Taking any and all suggestions. I've never

I am trying to export an animation (to video) from Adobe Animate that is 1080x1920 for use in Instagram stories... But when I export this animation to video - the mp4 I get back has black bars on the sides...  I don't want the black bars on the sides. I just want the 1080x1920.Any help would be apprciated!

A curious symbol has appeared at the bottom left of a placed image. I’ve never seen it before. It’s not part of the image. What is it? I replaced the image but it’s still there. It disappears if I remove the image. It does not show up if I open the image in Photoshop.

I know how to change the units of measurement. Edit, Preferences and then I can change picas to inches or whatever. In the old CC 6, this would become the default. Now, in the online InDesign, every single new document I have to change the preferences from picas to inches. Is there a way to permanently change this? It's annoying as heck!

Hello. This message starts to pop up now with using GenAI tool (Photoshop beta and 26.7.0, both version) "You don't have enough credits for this generative action. Upgrade your Firefly plan now to get more credits for continued access or wait until your monthly reset."I have the annual subscription (renewed several days ago) and 250 credits included into this plan. Usually when all credits are gone, GenAI just continue to work slower, but there wasn't any block to use this tool. Are there any new rules/tariff changes for using this tool?

I have seen similar post involving “Raster Link” (whatever that is), but it was for a laptop and the solutions did not apply to a desktop. This problem is for a desktop and I have used this illustrator worksheet to print business cards for at least a year with no issues.  Now suddenly black prints out as green!  I have tried a few things with the settings to no avail. I have updated drivers, etc. Why would things be going along nicely then boom, black becomes green? I should mention this issue is only with Illustrator.  Photoshop is not affected nor any other program that prints.  All else comes out in black.

Hi there, I just upgraded to the very latest 2018 update of Premiere Pro CC and I'm having two issues that I can't seem to solve. The main issue is the following:1) When right-clicking on a clip in the timeline, I click on the 'Reveal in Project' command but nothing happens. I'm using the standard workspace configurationbut the Reveal command seems to have no effect in the window.Also:2) With the update, when I make changes to the Workspace (selection) bar at the top, the choices don't seem to carry over to the next time the project is opened.(All of the Workspace titles reappear in their initial default positions even though I have moved some to the 'Overflow' or 'Do Not Show' positions). Thanks very much for any help!John

Merci d'avance

Hi everyone,  I am trying to copy pages from one PDF to another. On my old computer I'd select the pages on the left then use CTRL + C and It would show a cut line around the pages that were copied. Then I'd CTRL + V when moving my mouse under the page where I want the pages to go, and it would create a blue line. I just got a new computer and now when I do this it does not copy or paste. I have to drag from one to another.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

The View/Proof Set-up is allowing a profile to be selected (in this case Working CMYK) but the Proof Colors menu item doesn’t act globally and switches itself off between every image. I’m not sure what Default profile it’s imposing but it’s very washed out and looks about 4 stops over-exposed. I must manually click the Proof Colors back on for every subsequent image. This certainly wasn’t the behavior in the previous version.

Hi! I recently built a free, open source parametric grid generator script for Illustrator and would like to share it with the community. Is this the right place to post it, or is there a better channel for sharing scripts and tools? Thanks in advance.

Anyone faced this problem? if so how can you got the solution?
