My two Mac laptops are updated to latest Tahoe 26.5.2. Illustrator 2026 v30.7 has not been opening for over a week, even when the 2025 version is closed. I get reference code 224 and "Sorry, Illustrator has encountered an error and needs to close. You will not be able to use Illustrator at this time.”  Only option I’m given is to quit Illustrator. But the older 2025 v29.8.10 is working. What is happening?

I'm trying the following.   a) define custom Premiere Pro shortcuts,  one per label color. b) Write an AutoHotkey executable, that presses the proper buttons when launched, activating the shortcuts defined in (a) c) Use the node.js library called Child process [1], implemented in my own extension, in order to launch the previous executable automatically, according with some triggering condition implemented inside my script.   Now, I'm not a professional programmer, and stuff like node.js and Autohotkey are totally new for me.  So, just before  starting a useless work, I ask you: do you think that such scheme could be doable?    My biggest concern is about the implementation of the node.js library and commands inside my extension.  Reading the article [1], it seems that the node.js c

When sampling an area with the clone stamp tool, upon clicking where you want to paint with the cursor, it automatically creates a paint line between sample and cursor. Sometimes the link isn’t even logical it’s just crazy and random and all over the place. Reset app, updated photoshop, reset clone stamp tool, reset preferences. I got a “scratch disk full” message once when opening so I deleted a bunch of stuff and it still has the issue.  

Hi everyone! Is it possible in Adobe Illustrator to adjust the length of anchor handles without affecting their angle? Or vice versa — adjust the angle without changing the length?Achieving this precision manually with a mouse feels impossible, yet it’s so necessary for small optical adjustments, fixing "optical kinks" in smooth curves and customizing fonts and making other detailed edits.Right now, I rely on these clunky workarounds:If the line is straight, I create a helper line and drag the handle along it. If the angle matters, I use a circle for control.But honestly, this is so tedious, and I’m exhausted from doing it over and over. I’ve heard about path scribe, but I can’t afford them right now. My other searches have been fruitless.Are there any hidden settings, shortcuts, or tricks for this in Illustrator?If anyone has encountered this and found a solution, please share!

adobe is a scam at this point. how is one suppose to contact them ? i am geting changed multiple different prices and i cant talk to anyone about this other than the community. is this therapy for adobe victims?

I’ve searched this forum but couldn’t find anything that was recent (over 2 years ago) or actually had a solve in the comments.For the past week, I’ve been trying to edit some videos where the main file lives in my OneDrive. (I have no idea else where to store GBs worth of video on my work computer, and we use Microsoft apps at work so I have to use that storage system. I am on a Macbook though.) Every time I open up the file, it has to “Relink Media” and is always stuck at 21%, and even if I let it run for HOURS in the background, it never budges. I am able to play around in the timeline, and press play, just the footage never loads.I thought I found an answer in unchecking “Use Media Browser to locate files” in the Link Media box, but that did absolutely nothing. I’m currently looking at my Premiere screen where it’s trying to relink media at 21%.Is this a Premiere issue or OneDrive issue? I can clearly see the video files in my OneDrive, it’s just like it’s not connecting to Premier

Hello! Opening illustrator files from InDesign, working on them, saving them and going back to InDesign. The links are all updated, but sometimes it’s leaving anomolies, like double shadows of the figure in. Friends are having the same problem, one had the cursor x/y measurements from the illustrator file appear in InDesign - which wouldn’t even have saved into the file? Anyone else had this problem?Pictures - show the x/y (illustrator on the left - inDesign on the right) and the double calendar which is most definitely not there in the illustrator file! 

Hi, the question kinda says it - I checked the availability two weeks ago and Creative cloud was supported for individuals in B&H, I wanted to see the pricing details today and I got the message saying it's not supported anymore.I tried to follow the link to the resellers page but it was broken - is it going to be updated?? Is it alright if I go to another country's adobe page and buy the license, even though I'm not based there? I'm not sure.

Hi, I have cancelled my plan on the adobe subscription well before the deadline. However,  I received an email that the payment failed wherein they are charging me to my account despite the deletion of the subscription. I will provide the screenshots of it through the email which I would assume that it was already a sign of cancellation of adobe subscription as well as the recent email on the payment failed.The first picture stated that they have processed my cancellation for Adobe. However, I have received today through email that there is a billing issue on my account despite the fact that I have cancelled the subscription for about a week ago. Thank you  

The Color Guide panel does not update harmony rule previews when changing the base color. All rules (Complementary, Analogous, Triadic, etc.) display the same colors regardless of which color is selected in the artwork. Recently downloaded an asset from Adobe Stock (https://stock.adobe.com/uk/images/building-web-icons-in-line-style-hotel-hospital-apartament-city-town-house-mall-coffee-collection-vector-illustration/780136570?prev_url=detail) - this asset has clearly been created from a very poor quality image trace in Adobe Illustrator. These are also not editable strokes. I would imagine that all of the similar assets from this creator are the same.  Adobe needs a way of reporting slop like this. I would also like a credit refund for this rubbish. 

Hi all !I have something weird going on, and i hope u can figure it out.I have LENOVO LEGION PRO 5 16IRX9INTEL CORE I7-14700HXNVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4070I'm an architect, and i need for my work to draw a lot of trees. For that i used ".DWG" tree's format.The more i had some, the more illustrator slower is. I know there are a lot of trees, but i don't have similiar perfomance issues with other software. When i duplicate one, it takes almost ten second to duplicate it. It's HUGE !The .DWG file is 70Ko sizeCan someone help me plz ? :)Cheers !!PS : I already press ctrl+y (actual screenshot) to improve performance 

Recenlty my Photoshop tool icons simply do not appear on the toolbar. they function fine but it is troublesome to find the right tool. The only way I could solve this is to reinstall photoshop but I cannot possibly do that every day.

We have all quietly noticed that the colour picker in Indesgn used to pick up whatever color you hovered over within the document. We feel it stopped working like that a few updates ago - it now picks up whatever is in the top layer, and that is not interesting to us, as its often part of a text box above the image we are trying to pick the colour from. This issue leaves us going back and forth between photoshop and Indesign just to single out colours, which works against us in our workflow.

In premiere, the audio file that I have is only playing from the left side. I have followed all of the YouTube videos on how to fix this, from modifying the audio channel to adding the "fill right audio with left" effect. After adding the effect, the audio file in the timeline still only plays from the left, but in the source it shows that both the left and right audio channels are filled. And when I play the audio file in the source window, it is playing from both the left and the right. So basically, in the timeline, I only get left audio, but the source shows both left and right. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I need to do to make both sides play in the timeline? Thanks!!

I have 6 hours of raw footage from interviews for 2 documentaries films.I want to edit the footage through the transcription window, an option that is supported by automatic transcription in English- it's much faster in this way. Since Adobe didn't bother * to support Hebrew auto transcript, I had to buy a third-party plugin that makes subtitles. I exported the subtitle file in SRT format but to my suprise the Primiere transcript can't imported it (even though it has a time code).There's also no option to create the transcript manually. In addition, Adobe only supports importing .prtranscript formt files - a format it invented but didn't share with public, thus preventing the possibility of converting subtitles into transcription. Does anyone have an idea how to overcome this issue?-and as a side note:* Why there is no ability to transcribe in Hebrew?We are 10 million people, biased towards high-tech, art  and creativity. Regarding GPT 2 Image generation, Quality: High Gives me the same size of the Medium size, But uses the 60 Credits, I lost too many credits

I have received a PDF file as an attachment to an email and can open and view and print it from within the email but when I save the file to my computer and then try to open the file I get an error message saying that CIDFont+F1 cannot be created or found.  The file opens but the text is just displayed as a series of dots. I have confirmed that I am using the most current version of Adobe Reader. Any advice on what the problem might be and how to resolve would be appreciated.

Did the Adobe Express download to pdf getting stuck at 90% get resolved from a week ago? I'm trying to download to pdf just now and after five or six failed attempts (inc with a blank doc with just the word test in) I'm now running the HAR report.The HAR report is never ending - it's been going for over 15 mins. I don't understand what I'm looking at but it appears to be trying to do the same thing over and over. Just wondering what the status is with this please?

I want to blur a name with 100% blur when it is visible on the screen. When the name is not visible, I want the blur effect to be turned off (set to 0%). If the name becomes visible again later in the same clip, I want the blur effect to return to 100%.  Is this possible, and can it be done within the same clip using keyframes?We use Premiere 2026 version

I have used the ‘edit video with a prompt’ function before on firefly, and today it says i do not have access to this feature and need to contact my IT admin support.  We have a premium account, with plenty of credits, and i have used the tool before and admin have not turned it off. What could be causing this? I am affected by lots of bugs at the moment making firefly completely unusable and this one is really the cherry on top. EDIT:  Looks like i can access all non-adobe models except for Kling 3.0 OMNI? Why would that be
