For a long time I have had an occasional problem where the character menu shows different font/weight/size information than what is actually used. For example, I have a text that uses Proxima Nova Medium, 5 pts. But the character menu says the selected text is Myriad Pro Regular 12pt. I did a little experimenting and it seems to be tied to the use of paragraph and/or character styles. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I clear overrides or not, as long as there is a paragraph style involved. Sometimes manually changing the affected text or clicking between different text boxes temporarily fixes the issue, but only for a short time.  Is this a known bug and if so, are there any solutions to this? Currently using AI 30.4 and on MacOS 15.7.4. 

Many times I want to re-use a previously generated image but I find no way to find it

 여기 몇번이나 글 썻는데 해결이 안되네요 포멧 컴퓨터 변경 등 해도 안됩니다 디스크 오류는 리퀴파이 할때프로그램 오류는 카메라 라우 열때 25.12 버전까지는 아무 문제 없이 썼어요그 이상  지금 26.7버전까지 계속 뜨네요 

로우파일로 작업한 사진을 픽셀유동화를 진행하면 디스크 오류로 인해 픽셀유동화 명령을 수행할수 없습니다 라는 경고 표시가 뜨고진행이 되지않습니다.포토샵을 지우고 새롭게 설치해도 안되구요.다시 jpg로 저장하고 열어도 계속 디스크 오류로 인해 픽셀유동화 명령을 수행할수 없습니다 라는 문구만 뜨네요.휴대폰으로 찍은 사진은 픽셀유동화 잘되구요.뭐가 문제일까요?답답해 죽겠습니다.

Fino a ieri utilizzavo la ruota colore di adobe per individuare lo schema colore più adatto alla mia fotografia. Oggi all’improvviso, è diventata inutilizzabile!!!!! Anche se estraggo i colori fondamentali dalla foto, non mi permette di portarli in hsb, Quindi non mi permette di alzare la saturazione per vedere dove sono situati esattamente sulla ruota e cosa mi conviene spostare per avvicinarmi a uno schema scelto!!!! Non serve più a niente!!!!! E’ terribile!!! Perchè Adobe ha fatto una cosa del genere? Senza considerare l’assurdità di ridurre lo spazio per la foto che rende sempre più difficile riuscire a posizionarsi sul colore giusto e lo spazio enorme riservato a dei rettangoli pieni dello stesso colore che non serve a niente. Mi chiedo cosa sia accaduto agli ingegneri informatici di adobe. Stanno male? Perchè rendere inutilizzabile un sito che funzionava bene????????

The new feature auto generates pornographic alt text in pictures it cannot seem to identify. It does seems to work ok on real photos but all complex icons have nude people and body parts described. It seems to me instead of giving a warning that it can’t identify a content it correlaties it to pornographic content. I don’t know if there was no introduction/pop-up to this new feature or if I simply missed it, but auto generating nsfw text is not okay. Why is there no filter that stops it from doing so?

Hi there,I have text with background set like the following:As you can see, the yellow background matches exactly the bounding box of the text. However, I want to add some extra spaces around the text, so I changed the shape options to include some extra spacing:The background got bigger, but the bounding box still remains the same. In theory, this is expected. However, this is a problem for what I am trying to do.As an example, I have the same text with a bar here.If I select both of them, then i can select one of them as key object and align the object correctly with left or right.Black bar as key, align left: Black bar as key, align right:So far so good. Now I want to expand the background a little bit, to be bigger than just text, but I want to make this responsive, so I change the extra width option in the shape options:The background is extended as expected. Hello, Something changed with PS? Because I cannot resize the text box without automatically resizing the text size inside of it. I want my text size to be 10. But when I resize the text box, the text inside of it automatically adjusts to 14 or more. Why did you make it so cumbersome? 😞

Hello, can anyone please tell me how to install  InDesign 2024 version 19.3 .My creative cloud app is not offering the option to install older versions like how they show in tutorials when i searched a solution for this issue.

So, Adobe quietly stopped supporting the stand-alone distiller app I’ve relied on for 20 years to prepare printer spreads (vs. reader spreads.) This is something I do on a daily basis but distiller continually errors out with the latest rounds of Adobe updates. I have no way to easily convert my postscript files to pdf any more within the Adobe ecosystem. This is a GREATLY OVERLOOKED issue. What is everyone using as a workaround? Are you sending your files to the printer as single pages or reader spreads and letting them deal with? Is there a script you use to impose page layout within InDesign or are you finding ways to distill .ps files outside of Adobe? Thanks for your help!

I'm installing CS5 on my new pc and got error, activation limit. PS is already activated on 2 other devices. Those pc's are long gone, formatted and sold.I'm looking for advice on support, they point me to forum. I read forum, they point you to support. I'm being balled around. Support says "I would like to inform you that we don't manage activations as well as deactivations of the perpetual Licenses from our end. Being an owner of your perpetual licenses you only can manage deactivations and activations from your end"How the heck am I supposed to de-activate them my self? I dont have access to those pc's anymore. Support don't have ability to deactivate my old product? I'm not buying that. They're saying no-can-do and are trying to sell me their new subsriptions too on the same breath. Every time on chat.Am I screwed now and forced to buy new photoshop? (certainly not any kind of subs.based software!) Is this how support is treating their customers nowadays?

I frequently create brochures, and at some point in the project without fail the share for review link stops allowing me to update content. The review links are an integral part of our workflow, and for my non-brochure work they are fine (although I have to update those less frequently), but with my brochure documents it will allow me to create a new link, but after that I can no longer publish any changes. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling InDesign, turned off and on countless times, ensured the document I’m updating is the only one open, packaged then opened the idml and re-saved the document to indd. It just doesn’t work, and it’s really frustrating to explain to our clients that their comments have gone because we had to make a new link (or they get confused, comment on an old link and we don’t make the updates). Any ideas?

 I've lost the ability to drag and drop content from PDF files into InDesign in Acrobat. Is there a specific preference or setting that controls this? I can copy and paste text from Acrobat to InDesign, but that's tedious and cumbersome. Is there a setting that allows me to drag and drop text into InDesign?

I am currently facing a compatibility issue with Adobe InDesign 2023 on my device.In order to resolve the problem, I kindly request a direct download link for the official Adobe InDesign 2023 installer, or guidance on how to properly obtain it through my Adobe account.  

It's not in The Creative Cloud anymore and I need that particular version for a Xerox plugin (VIDesign Express 18.1.0).I tried to install the latest VIDesign (18.1.3) on InDesign 2025, but it freezes on installation.

I am having a difficulty with the Automate batch function in Photoshop. I don't want to use image processor because I need to upsize images with the new Preserve details 2.0.  I create an action: 1 from an open image resize 200% saves as and close.Before I went to the automate batch option I could select the source folder and the destination and it would work perfectly.No more now.I always get this message "There were no source files that could be opened by Photoshop". it is quite an absurd message as I point the source to the folder that contains the images. I know that I have not recorded the open image in the action but this was never necessary as once you selected the folder in the automate batch as a source it would open those files inside and run the action.Has this changed now? I have tried "supress file options dialogs" but same result. Is it now compulsory to also save the open file step so that the automate batch runs correctly the action?. I really think this
