I have a brush I like to use with the Pattern Stamp Tool. I made a copy of it and unlocked it so it picks up the pattern I have selected. When I leave the tool it reverts back to locked. I have to go through the process of unlocking it again, if I forget it paints with the foreground color instead of the pattern selected. I want to set this copy to work with the Pattern Stamp Tool and not the Brush Tool. How do I do that?

Hello. I am unable to reorder Tools in the Tools Panel on the left of the screen. The instructions I've found online seem to indicate that I should be able to "Drag and Drop" tools in my preferred order. However, I cannot select any of the Tools to Drag them.

I'm interested to know whether any other user of any Adobe software has been receiving a lot of recent emails, apparently from mail@mail.adobe.com, almost all of which can only be best described as "Non-Adobe Spam", e.g. offers of prepaid cards (with large funds already loaded), or advertising "NortonLifelock Partner"? I run Mailwasher Pro to filter my incoming emails and so can "blacklist" (aka block) either the sender or the domain from which the message comes.   This is a problem for the above email sender address because I have received some messages which are clealry genuine and which I want to read, so blocking either sender or domain is not acceptable. So, has "mail@mail.adobe.com" been hijacked??? Jeff

ssue summary:Photoshop 27.9.0 appears to automatically enable Proof Colors every time I open a new image. This causes the image on the main canvas to look significantly brighter, desaturated, and washed out.Steps to reproduce:Open Photoshop 27.9.0. Open any image file. The image opens looking washed out on the main canvas. The same image looks correct in macOS Preview and also looks correct in the Layers panel thumbnail. Go to View → Proof Colors and turn it off. The image immediately returns to the correct color and contrast. Open another image. Proof Colors appears to be enabled again automatically, and the new image is washed out until I turn Proof Colors off again.Expected result:Proof Colors should remain off unless I manually enable it, and newly opened images should display with their normal color and contrast.Actual result:Every newly opened image appears washed out because Proof Colors seems to be enabled automatically. Turning it off fixes the current image, but the issue rep

Marquee tool missing bounding box while dragging & draws solid black lines (PS 2026 / v27.1.0 / Intel Mac + AMD, Sonoma)I’m running into a visual display/GPU bug specifically with the Marquee tool in Adobe Photoshop 2026 (v27.1.0) and need some help. The Problem: When I click and drag the Marquee tool, the active bounding box is visible, but solid black. The marching ants only appear after I release the mouse and the selection is made. The absolute only thing that fixes this is for me is going to Preferences > Performance and turning off "Use Graphics Processor." When the GPU is disabled, the marching ants appear perfectly fine while dragging. However, losing that GPU acceleration ruins overall performance.I have tried absolutely everything within Photoshop's settings to fix this without losing the GPU, including:Changing the Marquee/Selection color and overlay options in Preferences. Unchecking individual options under Performance > Graphics Processor Settings > Advanced Se

Hello,we have multiple people with Adobe Acrobat that get random freezes upon opening some .pdf files. It doesn’t happen everytime and apparently killing the Acrobat Licensing Service background process in Win11 makes it run again. Would you have any suggestion what could cause that? So far we tried some recommended steps I found online, but nothing helped so farWhat we tried:- relogging to Acrobat- reinstalling the app through Creative Cloud- disabling the use of online storage on opening/saving files in Preferences- disabling the use of page cache in Preferences + clearing our the cache folder in %localappdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Cache

I was charged $48.99 for this subscription which was done by mistake & requesting refund as subscription was an error & cancelled. The subscription was cancelled & never used nor did i mean to purchase this. If you can contact me regarding this issue via email at [Personal information removed by moderator]

I am contacting you to formally dispute the cancellation fee being presented to me and to request that it be removed before I proceed with cancellation.I originally signed up for what I understood to be a 7-day free trial. At no point during the sign-up process was it made sufficiently clear, prominent and unambiguous to me that I was entering into an annual contractual commitment, billed monthly, rather than a straightforward monthly subscription that I could cancel without an early termination charge.I am therefore disputing that I gave informed consent to an annual commitment carrying a substantial early cancellation fee. The manner in which the offer and subscription terms were presented led me to reasonably understand that I was signing up for a 7-day trial followed by a monthly subscription, rather than agreeing to remain contractually bound for an entire year.I consider this to raise serious concerns regarding misleading or deceptive representations, inadequate disclosure of mat
