Acrobat Pro 2017 - reseller out of business - activation code

I bought Acrobat Pro 2017 from a reseller now out of business. After moving to a new laptop, I can’t activate it because I didn’t close my account on the old device before uninstalling the software. I need a new activation code I believe.

the only way to increase your activation count is the deactivate using a computer with a current activavaton.  if you can't access that old computer, that won't be possible.  if you can access that old computer, it may be possible.
