Hello everyone,
I wanted to switch from my Creative Cloud Photography Plan 20 GB (which runs until January 2026) to the Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1 TB. As there was a great Black Friday deal on Amazon (104 € for the 1 TB plan), I bought two activation codes and redeemed them on Friday, November 28th to have the 1 TB plan running until November 2027. After redeeming the first activation code for the 1 TB plan and canceling the 20 GB plan, I redeemed the second activation code for the 1 TB plan and expected it to extend the first 1 TB plan as they are exactly the same. Unfortunately, I noticed that I have both 1 TB plans now running in parallel, both ending in November 2026. I didn't find any hint that the Amazon offer would only apply to new customers, they only stated that it would not extend a 20 GB plan (which I was aware of as these are two different products).
Is there any possibility to merge the two parallel 1 TB plans into one plan that runs until November 2027 or alternatively cancel the second 1 TB plan and get a new code that I can redeem in November 2026? Unfortunately the Amazon reseller doesn't offer refunds for redeemed codes and I didnt't pay attention to that when buying.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Peter

Peter, I am sorry for any problems you encountered with the redemption codes you purchased from Amazon. You will want to contact Amazon to request a refund for any code that does not meet your needs. Please see https://adobe.ly/3KubVXd for more information about using redemption codes with an active subscription. ^JW

Hello Jeffrey, thank you very much for your fast response. It's unfortunate to hear that there can nothing be done on Adobe side as Amazon won't refund redeemed codes. I'll have a closer look at the Amazon conditions next time.

the plans have to be exactly the same to run sequentially. otherwise they run concurrently.

Hello kglad, thank you for your response. I expected the plans to run sequentially as they are both the same.

You are welcome, Peter. I am sorry that using redemption codes can be a bit of a risk, which Kglad has done a good job of highlighting. You would actually be blocked from purchasing a duplicate subscription if you purchased it directly from Adobe, but I can understand the desire for cost savings.
Please bookmark https://adobe.ly/3MhJYCs and maybe set a reminder when your current subscription is due. We also send out an email reminder, but it could get lost in your other messages. I would also second Kglad's recommendation that you verify the return policy on any future codes you do purchase. ^JW
