NO_SIGN_ERROR

New Here ,
Nov 25, 2025 Nov 25, 2025

Hi. I have Adobe through school. I was able to use Adobe acrobat (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/acrobat/compress-pdf?x_api_client_id=adobe_com&x_api_client_location=...) to compress a 1GB pdf to 3.8mb file without any difficulty. However, after that first use, I have been getting "NO_SIGN_USER" error constantly even though I am logged in with the same account. I have not been able to compress anything, and even if does, it keeps the file as is or doesn't compress enough. I have tried all different methods and even tried logging out of creative cloud. Please help!!

Hi aalisha_9735,

Thank you for reaching out.

We have verified your account using the email address associated with your community login. There is no active subscription listed under that account.

From the screenshot, it appears you were using the Acrobat Online service to compress the files. You can make one free transaction every 30 days on a rolling basis when using the premium tools in the Acrobat online account. That is the reason you get the error message.

For more information, refer to the following help document: https://adobe.ly/48kSNmq

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
