Recently, my Desktop folder no longer shows up in Bridge. I'm using mac os 15.7. I've checked privacy and security settings to be sure that full file access has been granted – it has. I have reset my preferences in Bridge (opening with command+option+shift and then restarting the computer). Even uninstalled Bridge and downloaded/reinstalled it. Still nothing. I've tried everything I can find to get the desktop folder to show up and it still just doesn't. I'm completely stumped.

I have this problem with Bridge 2026. I've also tried to revert to Bridge 2025 and it still doesn't work.

In Bridge go to Adobe Bridge 2026 (or your version)>Settings>General and make sure Desktop is checked under Favorite Items.

Yes, thanks. It's been/is checked under Favorite Items, but still not showing up in the app.

If in Bridge you change from Favorites view to Folders view, does Desktop show under your User Name?

Hi, @David Bjurstrom, look, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here, but you've done every reasonable thing to fix this. You know, in the detective shows, they keep on asking witnesses the same questions over and over, hoping to get a sliver of the information that will let them break the case? Well, I'm going to do that here. Let me show you three screenshots from my computer's Security & Privacy settings. Please compare them to what you have. I'm sure they are the same, but please verify that they are the same.
And, while I really do not think that this is part of this issue, it's the only location in my Settings that Bridge shows up.

Yes, I have those areas indicated appropriately.
'tis a puzzle.
