How do I display recent blog post snippet on homepage

Hey BCers,

I'm trying to display a snippet (few sentances, or limited characters) on a small div on the homepage of the site I'm working on. The only tag I've come across that comes close is {tag_blogrecentpost} - but I can't seem to customize it. It displays the name of the blog itself then the post, it's just not very customizable. I want to be able to have a section that says "latest post" then gives a snippet of the article.

Thoughts, ideas, solutions?

Tags do not work outside of the module they are for Steve.

You need to use modules:

http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/kb/modules-quick-reference.html#Blogs

And you can use the template="" on the list ones if you want a custom template:

http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/partner/using-custom-templates-modules.html
