Hello,
When setting up an eCommerce website for Russian audience - found a strange issue...
The Russian currency is displayed wrong (it might be the case for other currencies as well)
It currently shows as: "rub10" (meaning 10 rubles)
It should be showing "10 rub"
There is a way to tweak this using JQuery on the website,
but it's not possible in the Admin and email Invoices.
Any ideas how to fix this?
BC team - any plans on fixing this in the Admin?

BC team - for Russian ruble (and other currencies that are affected by this)
you'll need to remove the currency symbol because the currently symbol "rub" in front of the price amount is wrong
(that's not how its being used in Russia)
Then we can simply use the currency tag {tag_countrycurrencyformat} after the price amount.
What do you think?
(btw - the Russian market is huge, but this "small" issue might affect BC signups from those regions.)

It`s been an issue since 2009. BS just ignors that. If you plan use russian language BC is not a good idea at all. There are many isues with cyrrilyc letters.
e.g you cannot import russian webapps or creat webapps tags with "M" letter. Or there is no any payment gateaways working with rubbles that makes useless BS for the russians.

Yea. Plenty of issues.
With the exception of payment gateways, the other issues are fairly 'fundamental', that you don't expect to have issue with (like the 'm' letter??? common)
Unfortunatelly I've discovered them only after completing 90% of website setup work for a client, so it was too late to switch platforms.
Oh well... Magento it is then.

Hi,
I recommend to check your clients sites for M letter. Now BC converts all M letters to м in HTML.
So, all your clients sites Yandex do not see M letters .So, SEO sucks. If you have titles with M letter YA cannot see them. It is really serious bug and BC do not want to solve this. I think it is because they do not care about that client at all. And I really cannot understand what to do about it. Maybe you have solution about it and you can advise how to proceed, please ?

Vladimir77,
There is no solution, as far as I know.
The website I was refering to in earlier posts had lots of limitations because of BC issues.
The client eventually gave up and changed platforms.

Yes, it is very strange! I do not understand BC. The HTML code is the most important in web ever! How to explain a client seeing broken html code that it is ok. How to explain seo developer that it is ok too? I think it is politic issue. Otherwise, it is hard to explain e.g. bc do not still support PayPal for Russian currency and lots of other issue like aps importing.... I tried a CMS for association and they add that currency during two-business day and I even was not their client. However, BC always give their template answers about.... Or BC has a problem with it is priority? e.g DW integration and Web apps is the key feature for Bc clients indeed but how to be explained that there is still not supported of app`s Data insertion in DW? And one should make a “monkey” switches from web browser to DW inserting (copy/pasting) that web apps`s data tags?! And it is called DW integration. I understand that bugs might face our life from time to time but why that long years to wait?!
I am very much frustrated and I do hope that I will find the solution soon.

Me too! I'd like to see it sooner or later. We need the Russian friendly Adobe BC hosting!
