I am trying to download Adobe but have forgot my password.  How can I get to reset it?

If you actually mean you are INSTALLING (not downloading from the Internet to your computer) and you have a Mac, that is your Mac asking you to prove that you have permission by asking for your COMPUTER password, not your Adobe password https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2139902
