We have enhanced the security of Adobe applications and services by updating the sign-in and activation process for older Adobe desktop applications. You will receive a QR code and link to complete the activation procedures when attempting to license and activate Creative Suite, Photoshop/Premiere Elements, Captivate, Acrobat, eLearning Suite, and Technical Communications Suite. For more information about the affected Adobe Desktop application versions and a demonstration of the updated sign-in process, see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/reactivate-older-apps.html.

The new sign-in process does not affect the offline activation procedure. If you are using an older computer that can no longer contact Adobe and are activating a software title that supports offline activation, then the steps will be the same as discussed in https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/activate-offline.html.

You can also find more details about the web browsers and operating systems supported by Adobe online services at https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/eol-tls-support.html.

Are you tired of installing desktop applications and dealing with updates, error messages, and software licenses? Try Adobe Express today! A premium membership to Adobe Express is included in most Creative Cloud plans. For more information, see https://helpx.adobe.com/express/using/express-overview.html. Don't let an error message block your next creative session!
