All my 2025 Illustrator files saved in the cloud just DISAPPEARED. I’m desperate!!!

Hey everyone, I seriously need help because I’m absolutely desperate right now.

All of my 2025 files that were saved in the cloud have completely vanished.
They still show up in the “Recent” tab, but when I click on them, it says I don’t have permission to access the file — a file that I created.
And the worst part: every time I click on one of these files, it disappears from the “Recent” list.

I’m a designer and I have multiple ongoing work projects, all saved in the cloud.
And everything is gone.
When I open the Creative Cloud storage page, there is NOTHING there — only empty folders.
But here’s the weird part: files created before 2025 show up normally.
Everything from late December 2024 until today has completely disappeared.

I’ve already contacted Adobe support and explained everything. I’ve done absolutely everything they suggested:

  • changed internet connection

  • uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator (both the current and previous versions)

  • tried on different devices

  • logged out and logged back in

  • tried the web version, desktop app, everything

  • and Adobe support even tried to help me via remote access…

But they seem totally unprepared to handle this, because nothing has been fixed. At all.
I’m genuinely panicking. I’ve cried so much. I’ve had multiple anxiety attacks thinking I might have lost all my 2025 work.
If that’s the case, I’ll have to refund clients, cancel deliveries, redo months of work… I can’t even process the thought.

Has anyone here gone through this? Was it resolved? Were you able to recover your files?
Any help or insight would seriously mean everything right now…

Hey, i had the same happend to me too, im also desperate a bunch of archives are now gone, i just searched too and realized that the 2025 version of adobe has been deleted of my computer, and i kind of relate that to the losing of my archives, please if anyone know something it would be so helpful

1. Would you mind telling us the version of Illustrator installed on your machine and the details of your operating system? 
2. Are these cloud files or local files, or stored remotely on a network location?
3. Could you please elaborate on the issue? When did it happen?
4. Have you installed any plugins or software recently?
