Last August I ran across an article about some caveats with the new Generative Expand option in InDesign by Mike Rankin in the Creative Pro newsletter. These included, but were not limited to file management, color management and image quality. The article suggested using Photoshop rather than InDesign for expanding images. We are getting ready to upgrade our Adobe Suite and wondering if these issues still hold true in the the lastest version so I can let my team know. Can anyone advise please? Here is a link to the article

Thanks so much!

Maybe ask Mike Rankin in a comment in the post that you linked.

Tried that, but it's an older post, so not sure anyone monitors it anymore. Thought some in the community here would be working with the newer version and know if things had changed. Guess we'll figure it out as we go.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
