InDesign screen moves slightly after clicking of changing something

Hello, I have a question related to using Adobe InDesign.

Whenever I want to change something to my text, go to a next page or click anywhere in the textboxes, my InDesign screen moves slightly up and down. You can see the movement at the bottom of the window. It's very annoying and distracting. Other Adobe Programs don't have this issue.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it?

Hi LottevdNoortNL,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind telling us the version of InDesign installed on your machine and the details of your operating system?

Does that happen with all files or with a specific file?

We will try our best to help.

Thanks,

Harshika

Hi there!

It's version 21.0.1, I have a new PC (custom build) and after installing all the apps, its only InDesign which is giving this issue.
It's in every file, so not only in this specific file.

I've uploaded some screens, don't know if this is what you need. Thank you so much in advance!Schermafbeelding 2025-11-24 145747.pngSchermafbeelding 2025-11-24 145839.pngSchermafbeelding 2025-11-24 145914.pngSchermafbeelding 2025-11-24 145938.png

Hello @Lotte31401572a3x1,

Thanks for sharing the details. I tried replicating this behavior on my end, but could not. Would you mind trying to copy the layers/objects from this file to a new one to see if the problem persists?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Anubhav

Hello @Lotte31401572a3x1,

Thanks for confirming. Please share the system report by following the steps shared here (https://adobe.ly/48jWUPq) along with a small screen recording of the problem and a link to a sample file after uploading it to a file-sharing service, so I can check this with the team.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
