My LRC current catalog will not back up - it is asking for permissions and saying I may not have enough space. Which, I do. Both on my macbook and my external hard drive. I have tested the integrity of the cat, and optimized it a bunch of times and nothing came up saying it was corrupt. The catolog has booted me out more than multiple times. I just dont want to lose this catolog because I have a large wedding on there.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, @deigerw. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.
Has this started to happen since a recent update for Lightroom Classic, or a change on the macOS? Please share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.
Where is the catalog stored? On the internal or external drive?
Try these suggestions:
1 - Move the catalog from the to a non-syncing, local folder on your Windows machine.
2 - Launch Lightroom Classic with a new catalog & go to File > Import from catalog > target your old catalog. Proceed with merging the (potentially) corrupted catalog into the newly made, internal storage-based catalog. For more help via video-based steps, check here. See https://adobe.ly/3NTC9Rv
Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
