Adobe Lightroom 9.0 (Non-Classic) Keeps Crashing - Windows 11.

Hey everyone,

Before I get into the issue, here are the specs of my PC (just the core components):

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (Version 10.0.26200)

  • Motherboard: MSI MS-7E06 (with the latest BIOS 7E06VAEI)

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K @ 3.20GHz

  • RAM: 64 GB

  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti (Studio drivers up to date)

Now, the issue: Adobe Lightroom (non-Classic) has been crashing consistently. This started with version 9.0, and even when I tried rolling back to version 8.51, the crashes continued. I prefer not to go lower than 8.51 because of the features in the latest versions, and I believe that 8.51 should be stable since it was the previous release.

I’ve tried all the usual troubleshooting steps, but the crashes persist. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the crash report is a Microsoft dialog, then I would recommend troubleshooting through Microsoft's channels. Their support forums will be able to aid you far better than those here.

We’ve reviewed the email address you use with this forum and found no crash reports in our system.

Did you see a crash dialog?

Do you use a different email address when filling out the crash report?

Was the crash dialog Adobe’s? Microsoft’s?

Hi Rikk, good afternoon!

I never got the crash dialog pop from Adobe, it's always been Microsoft's the one that it's been popping out consistently.

Any advices or suggestions for a solution on avoiding this non stop crashes?
