Uses a single core for Merge operationss

I'm currently merging frames on my Macbook Pro M4. Sadly just like on my PC, performance is atrocious there. The Lightroom app will only ever use a single core and I've been waiting for my panorama since a good 20 minutes now. Adobe, when will you for once optimize your programs?

Hi @Gamesnic_, sorry to hear you’re running into performance issues!
Could you let us know the exact versions of Lightroom and macOS you’re using? Also, are you doing an HDR merge or a panorama merge, and how many frames are involved? The more details we have, the better we can troubleshoot.
If possible, please share your System Info. You can find it in Lightroom under Help > System Info. Just copy it into a text file and attach it to your response, or share it via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any file-sharing platform you prefer.
